I am saving up to start my own business. this means cutting down on spending, and waste. it will help my family massively to have our own income and not be working for someone else and making money for them.

I don't really have any big plans for 2017. I made it my new year's resolution to give blood as I haven't been for years - but the earliest appointment I could get was May.

I would like to make our garden more wildlife-friendly, organize years and years of photos, do some more baking, buy less plastic rubbish, and on a less cheerful note update our will (made before children were born). Youngest child starts school in September so may have more time and energy for more interesting or creative projects then (or for more paid work).

2017 is the year where I 1. finally get to the bottom of what exactly it is I'm ill with, 2. when I properly declutter the house so that it's easy to keep clean, and 3. when I work on becoming calm and stress free (helped by 1 and 2), but also looking at my diet, exercise levels and investigating mindfulness.

Basically, 2017 is a "sort my life out" year

I don't do New Year Resolutions because let's face it January isn't a good time to try anything new! I do intend to be smarter about meal planning which I was doing and then let things slide towards the end of the year. That's getting better. And when the weather improves I'm going to start some sort of gentle exercise routine, maybe a daily walk or invest in a Pilates DVD.

So much, pay down our debts, move house and get a new job. If I can shift my extra stone that will be a bonus.
2015 & 16 were terrible years, so I am determined 2017 is the year of positive change.

I've been two stone overweight for twenty many years so this year I'm really hoping to shift it for good. I'm also doing a 1000 miles walking challenge - about three miles a day, every day, for 2017.

My big plan for 2017 is to do my first open water swimming event

With this being the first year for five years that I've not been at Uni, one of my resolutions is to stress less and enjoy my family more. The last five years have been incredibly stressful, working full time managing a childcare setting plus gaining a degree and qualifying as an Early Years Teacher. Now that's all behind me, I'm looking forward to a year where I've resolved to not sweat the small stuff. I'll be leaving work at work (wonder how long that will last!) and treasuring my children. I've also promised to treat myself every now and then, whether it's a lovely new notebook or a sneaky box of chocolates!

My main resolution is to declutter my home, finally, after many failed attempts. I've made a start which has given me the push I need to succeed.

My main ambition is to see Brexit come to fruition. I've waited many years for it to happen so can be patient for another couple of years.

I would also like to read Lucy Diamond's new book - whether I win it or buy it - I enjoyed The Secrets of Happiness very much.

My New Year resolutions are to try and get fitter for health benefits. I have a little business I am trying to build up so I want to double what I made last year.
Randomly light more candles to enjoy and try to enjoy simple things more.

I'm going to carry on saying yes. It's something I promised myself I'd do after my DH died last year. As an introvert, it's too easy for me to stay in. It's going well so far.

I'm going to get the house tidy. It will probably take me all year.

To change jobs, move slightly up the ladder to give myself a more challenging role instead of coasting where I am now. To do more, live a more interesting life, take up another hobby (I used to take pottery classes and would love to try something similar) and stop spending so much time loafing around watching rubbish TV!

To learn to manage and accept my chronic health conditions better.
To save up enough money to go on a lovely holiday.
To try and make some progress at work..My work life has been awful over the last couple of years due to huge lengths of time on sick leave. I'm hoping to be well enough to do a course through work which will increase my confidence.
To try and eat more for health and rely less on sugar for energy.

I want to take care of body and mind a bit more.

I know it sounds twee but I want to read more, look after my skin, drink more water, lose some weight, start putting more personal touches into our house.

It is to get back on my feet after a hip replacement ...I have the garden to attack and the decorating of most rooms in the house, but I would also like to try to cook macarons which I love but for some reason never made myself, that should be the easiest to do.

I am going to be kinder to myself. I am so driven by routine and strict rules that don't matter. Sometimes I need to have a day of rest or eat some rubbish and not feel guilty. And it is ok to have some time away from the family to meet up with friends.

I am in my final year of a Masters and I've resolved to knuckle down and get it finished so I can hopefully start a new career. I have already pulled some all-nighters this year so it's not going to be easy, I'll be relieved to get it out of the way!

My goal is to be healthier which has, so far, translated into giving up caffeine and sweets as well as running for 30-60 minutes a day. I want to be strong and fit.
