Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

I'd like to join too please. I'm just getting used to the smart points system (online only) and I am finding it very helpful not to be thinking only about calories. The only problem so far is the affect all the extra fruit and veg are having .... ahem

I think I'm around 14 st 7 pnds but still haven't worked up the courage to actually stand on the scales.

Alliwanttodoissleep · 13/01/2016 21:45

Are you supposed to use all your daily smartpoints? I get 30 a day and I'm falling short most days so should I be eating more?!?! Have only just started on smartpoints.

Redglitter · 13/01/2016 21:57

You really need to eat them all

Alliwanttodoissleep · 13/01/2016 22:06

I've still got 10 left for today!!! I'm stuffed as well. This never happened to me on propoints, I must be doing something wrong :-(
Thank you for coming back so quickly :-)

fireandblood · 13/01/2016 22:08

Welcome shoveyourgranny! Love the name.

Alliwanttodo- are you counting absolutely everything- oils for cooking, sugar if you use it in tea or cereal, milk? If you are left with a lot of points I would be having a treat, one standard treat would pretty much take the ten points away, what did you eat today? How many points do you have a day?

OP posts:
Alliwanttodoissleep · 13/01/2016 22:28

Have pointed everything!!!!! Let me know if I've done it wrong:

Breakfast = Apple and a Banana (0 points)
Morning Snack = Shortbread Petticoat Tail (3 points)
Lunch = Heinz Vegetable Soup (7 points)
Afternoon Snack = Melon and Grape Fruit Pot (0)
Dinner = Chicken and Vegetable Stir Fry with Rice Noodles (9 points)
Skimmed Milk = 1 point

Redglitter · 13/01/2016 22:31

Easiest thing would be to change breakfast and your snack. There's no point (excuse the pun ) having a 0 point breakfast if you're struggling to use them all.

fireandblood · 13/01/2016 23:14

I would have some bread or a roll with my soup to use my points. Looks very healthy which is good but as we are all here and on a diet im assuming that is a big change to what you would eat before Weightwatchers? Maybe you could have a more substantial snack If your finding yourself still hungry or something in the evening?

Struggling today. Hadn't planned meals well but I've sorted that. My OH is working away, he's usually home on a Friday but not back till next week this time. So I'm on my own with our baby and my 2dc's. I'm missing him and wanting to eat everything. I've set myself a mini goal to lose 5lbs by next Saturday so that's helping me. Sorry needed a vent. X

JammyC · 14/01/2016 14:34

Hoping I can join in as I'm battling with WW to shed 1.5st before TTC this summer. Lost 1st sept-dec on the old filling and healthy plan which worked great for me. Not sure the no count equivalent under the new points system is working out as well - anyone else doing no count plan?

I've been ill this week so much chocolate and junk food eaten but next week im hoping to start afresh. My weigh day is Monday.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 14/01/2016 17:36

Today has been awful, I feel hungry and dizzy. Had my evening meal at 4pm. It's the first bad day so I guess I just have to get through it without falling off the wagon.

purplewhale · 14/01/2016 19:41

I've discovered frozen berries. I pour a bowl of them and suck on them as a dessert or snack. You could microwave them, maybe with a bit of sweetener

CharleyDavidson · 14/01/2016 19:55

"How do you get your Fitbit to link with WW?
Also anyone know how you change your weigh in day?
The app shows my kg weight in stones so 100+ stones!"

If you can get online, rather than on the app then it's easier to sort both of these. There's a 'link device' link where you log your exercise in the 'my day' bit.

And if you go into the settings in the little person symbol at the top right of the screen, then choose your profile. Then update your personal profile. It will take you to your personal assessment again, where you log your details. On the second page of it there's a place for you to choose your weigh in day.

purplewhale · 14/01/2016 20:02

Ooh ta I'll have a go now

purplewhale · 14/01/2016 20:07

Bloody marvellous, all sorted :-) thanks

CharleyDavidson · 14/01/2016 20:23

:) No problem.

I actually messaged, asking ww chat help people how to change my day, and they told me that they were waiting on news from the States as to when we'd be able to do that. So I had a little nose around the new site and found how to do it was already there.

purplewhale · 14/01/2016 21:06

Ah ok cool. There's very limited functionality on the app. I need to figure out how to build my recipes. It's a pain trying to divide all the ingredients of a chilli by 8!

poorpaws · 14/01/2016 22:57

I'm struggling tonight, I'm really really struggling. I'm sad and hungry. 😂

uppitywho · 14/01/2016 23:19

poorpaws dont be too down, if you really need a something have it tonight and start again tomorrow- try a banana and a drink first - hot choc options if you need something sweet - and then go to bed and try afresh tomorrow - we all have days like this - I had 2 glasses of wine and slipped into my extra points- its what they are for on bad days - just start fresh tomorrow and do some extra exercise to cheer up your mood and your points - even a walk round the block when you are hungry helps

fireandblood · 15/01/2016 00:21

Well all excited for nothing , weigh in day 2 .... And stayed the same . Aah well least it's not up.

I stayed within points and used all my weeklys but think I know where the issues lies.

I'm on strong painkillers just now and they have caused me to be a bit Blush bunged up . Got something to sort that out now so still looking forward to next week.

I've noticed on the app you can now connect with other weight watchers! It's quite cool some people are reporting back mad losses!

MidniteScribbler · 15/01/2016 01:06

I had my first weigh in today, and had lost 1.6kg (that's about 3 1/2 pounds). I'm pretty excited as I had quite a few slip ups. It's given me the motivation to try and stick to the diet now and see how I can do.

gamerwidow · 15/01/2016 07:16

Fireandblood I think I'll stay the same this week too based on my weight today (weigh in) Monday. Don't worry I remember when I did ww before this was quite common and I tended to lose weight every 3/4 weeks or so in bigger chunks than steadily in small amounts every week.

purplewhale · 15/01/2016 08:11

I fell off the wagon and regained 3 of the previous 4 I lost. False start maybe but back on it today.
No goals or targets...I have a lot to lose.
I just have to track my food and stick to plan. Get as much exercise as I can and don't go over points Smile
