Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

Can I join in? I'm joining on Thursday. Feeling very apprehensive and a bit disheartened after reading that people aren't very keen on the new points system. It was 1, 2, 3 Points when I first started 467 years ago....Grin

Charliej86 · 24/05/2016 21:42

I'm really struggling to keep on plan. Struggling with no count and haven't the slightest desire to point at all.
We planned meals for the week, did the shopping and the DH has been sent away for work so now I have ingredients for meals kids won't eat. So today I went to all you can eat Chinese with friends, had gravy & chips tonight and some pringles. I need help.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 25/05/2016 20:29

My word, have fallen off the wagon the past two days . No idea what's wrong with me but I'm starving and weak . Yesterday I had a pasty , today DD's leftover pizza and loads of bread . Help !!!

poorpaws · 25/05/2016 22:29

Had yet another chocolate filled day. I think I might have to give it up completely since I can't manage the amount I eat.

Just to add to Charlie and Kens post - HELP!!

RebeccaMumsnet · 26/05/2016 08:16

Bread is my Achilles heel too .

Back on track this week with 4lb off, so with the middle of the month blip, I'm still 8lb down in a month. Not too shabby.

Charliej86 · 26/05/2016 08:44

I think I'm going to cancel my subscription. I just can't get back into it and haven't for 6 weeks. I just can't justify the cost at the moment. We're going to buy so decent scales, DH & I will get weighed together and encourage each other. I'll still use ww plan and books but won't have the app or get weighed by ww.
Just need to break the news to my mam

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/05/2016 10:47

Well done Rebecca ! I'm in a different mindset today . Have worked bloody hard for my two stone , will have gained this week and I'm buggered if I'm going to get massive again .
Charlie - don't leave the thread though !!!

Welcome oh my and well done Rebecca! I lost 2.5lbs today 😊 I actually achieved my goal weight of 10st 5lbs today (weighed in at 10st4.5lb) but decided to lower it to 10st 3.5lb as that will be a 2st 7lb loss since I started in Jan....really need to make sure I lose that 1lb this week tho!

I have set my goal higher than I would like to be as my monthly pass runs out in 2weeks so if I'm at goal by then at least it's free! Ideally wanting to get under 10stone.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Anyone tried heck sausages? I had the smoky paprika chicken ones last week for the first time - rather nice and you can have 2 sausages for 1sp!

poorpaws · 26/05/2016 22:26

Wow Betty I am so impressed! Very well done to you, I bet you are thrilled. Your goal weight is the same as mine but I'm a way off yet so I am envious (but nicely envious not nasty 😀).

As I type this I don't think it's going to work but last night I decided to give up sugar starting today. I am a definite addict and very much an "all or nothing" type and it is definitely sugar which is sabotaging all my weight loss efforts. I've given up smoking before (a long time ago) and alcohol (last year) but sugar is going to be the hardest cut of all. I've bought loads of fruit today (yes I know fruit contains sugar but at least it's a natural sugar). I think I am going to be unbearable in the very near future but I have to try. Day one without chocolate, cake, biscuits, sweets DONE. .

poorpaws · 26/05/2016 22:27

Betty I've never heard of heck sausages, tell me more please.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 26/05/2016 22:33

Go Betty you total Star !!!
Will be looking for those sausages

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 26/05/2016 22:39

Congratulaitons Betty That is FANTASTIC!!! Do you mean you've lost 2 1/2 stone since January '16? Thats amazing!! Well done.

Rebecca, that's fantastic, a huge loss. Hope everyone else doing well.

I've been ok so far this week. Unfortunately no exercise, but hopefully will get out at the weekend. Would love a pound off this week, to reach half a stone.

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 26/05/2016 22:55

Good luck with the sugar, Paws. Once you get into it, it'll get easier. I've done low carbing in the past, day 2, always had a rotton headache, but it's gone the next day.

Well done on the losses and sorry that some are finding it tough this week Flowers

I have lost 7lbs in my first week. I know this is the first week woosh and it's a drop in the ocean compared to how much I have to lose but I'm really bloody pleased with myself!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/05/2016 14:10

Top losses Downstairs and Hairspray !!!

bettybyebye · 27/05/2016 21:15

Aww thanks everyone, and well done hairspray and downstairs on your losses!

Wish - yes I've so far lost 2st 6lbs since 10th Jan 2016. I can't believe how quickly it's come off, but I think the fact that it was baby weight is probably the reason. Had dc2 in July and really struggled to get the weight off myself this time (as I did after dc1), my sister was doing ww so started going with her. My body just seems to have responded well to smart points (conversely I tried the 5:2 for a month after I had dc1, spent the 2 fast days each week being VERY hangry and lost no weight at all! 😱). Have also cut down on booze a lot (maybe have one or two drinks a week) and don't go mental on weekends - I do relax it a little but think in the past when I had a relaxed weekend I went so crazy I never lost any weight!

Paws heck sausages are gluten free sausages that also happen to be v low in smart points, they also do burgers and stuff. I found them in my local morrisons 😊

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 27/05/2016 21:38

That's fantastic Betty, you've done so well in such a short time. Well done!!

poorpaws · 27/05/2016 22:38

Betty that's very interesting thank you I will try them. I love sausages and haven't had any this year due to too many points. In the time you've lost 2st 6lbs I've only lost just over a stone so very well done indeed. Just thinking to myself if I had been better I cd be where u r now - good lesson to learn.

Day 2 of no chocolate completed but I don't think Ive been in a very good mood. Perhaps I should remove myself from people for a while 😀 Saturday tomorrow that's going to be a hard one.

Well done to others, some great losses.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 29/05/2016 21:45

How's everyone doing this weekend !! I had my first wagamama since I started in January. Not my usual as too many points but was nice nonetheless !
Lots of walking to try to keep the wolf from the door Grin

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 29/05/2016 23:28

Had a good weekend! Good food choices, plus two lovely long walks on the beach with the dogs. Weigh in tomorrow, but don't think I've lost anything this week. Planning on lots of exercise next week!

Hope you enjoyed your Wagamama, Ken.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 30/05/2016 17:23

It was lovely !
Had a big blustery beach walk this morning , my 10k steps were in the bag by lunchtime Grin

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 30/05/2016 20:29

Feeling v Grin, lost 1 1/2 tonight. That's just over half a stone, so I'm delighted, as I wasn't expecting it. Will have to modify my pineapple consumption though.! Once I start eating it, I can't stop! I could literally eat a whole one in one go!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 30/05/2016 20:36

Get in there !!! Well done
