Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

I've just rejoined and am really struggling with the website, can't find anything. I used to love their boards for finding out all the surprising low point foods but as everyone else has said, they seem dead now. In the olden WW days it was all about Warburton thins and Square wrap pizzas. Now I only seem to be finding out the surprising high point foods, 9sp for a muller bliss corner yogurt Shock

Have sat and read this thread for inspiration/motivation. Thanks for the previous poster who mentioned the Stand and Stuff tacos, will definitely be making some of those quiches.
Someone else worried about leaving their fitbit one clipped to their jeans and it going through the wash. I just wanted to say you can relax, that this actually happened to me and I didnt realise until the jeans were dry and ready to put away. Amazingly the fitbit switched back on and worked perfectly!

After messing about and yoyoing for about six weeks (and being very cross with myself) I've decided to start again today so hopefully I'm back with a more positive attitude .

It's seemed quite quiet here so I'm wondering if I'm not the only one struggling. It's getting warmer so it should be easier to walk more in the evenings and I've made my first layered salad of the year today. Positive, positive I have to stay positive. 😀

KenDoddsDadsDog · 09/05/2016 06:33

I have been faffing about . Been doing my 10k steps a day , walked 12 miles this weekend . But I am hungry and have started to use my points for cereal and bread which will not lose me anything Confused

Hi everyone! Checking back in with this week's weigh in. 1/2 pound off! Relieved as I checked on bathroom scales and thought I might even have gained! However, I think I may not be eating enough. I tend to add an extra point here and there, 'just to be on the safe side". I have eaten really well all week, used no weeklies, but definitely not using full allocation! I also need to do some exercise. Have been v poor in this department. So aiming to swim and walk! I know once I get started, I'll get into the routine.

Well done Ken re the exercise. Welcome back Paws! No, I certainly struggle, quite buoyant at the moment, but if the loss continues to be slow, that's when I find it hard to keep up motivation and momentum. Hope everyone else is getting on well.

4lovelychildren · 09/05/2016 20:12

I have lost again this week - anther 1.5 pounds so 5 pounds in 2 weeks. Very pleased as used all my daily and weekly points and was sure I would have gained. Am feeling much better for not eating so much rubbish and definetly have list guilty eating feelings Smile

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 09/05/2016 21:37

Well done Lovely, just behind you on 4 1/2 pounds in 2 weeks.

poorpaws · 09/05/2016 23:02

Well day 1 of getting back on track was a disaster! Well done everyone you put me to shame.

Thought if I came back and admit my failure I might be shamed into doing better. I could give several good reasons why I failed today but there's no point I just failed! Better luck tomorrow. I'm going to keep on until I have a good day 😀

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 09/05/2016 23:15

Paws, tomorrow will be a good day. Let us know how it goes!!

4lovelychildren · 10/05/2016 06:50

Everyday is a new day Paws.

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 10/05/2016 19:06

Ok!! Starting the exercise tonight. Going for a swim. Determined to get at least 1 off at next weigh in.

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 10/05/2016 22:14

Had a half hour swim and then a 45 min walk Halo..wonder how long this will last ??

RebeccaMumsnet · 10/05/2016 23:05

Checking in again on weigh in day. 1 1/5lb off this week, that's 5.5 in two weeks, would be rather miraculous if I could keep that up. Really pleased with myself and not struggling too much.
Had a BBQ and went out for a meal. I'm missing bread a fair bit as I've tried to cut it out, a nice soft white bread roll is my downfall every time.

I even had a sneaky MilkyWay on the train and am within points for the day. Will chocolate ever feel not "naughty"?

RainbowsAndUnicorns23 · 12/05/2016 19:50

Hi,

Can I join? I'm new and this is my first post - so hi Grin

I first joined ww August last year at 11stone 13!! Blush so at only 5ft I looked huge!! I lost initially 1stone 7lb between August- October as I cancelled my online membership.. then from October to April I mostly stayed the same.. not bad considering it had been Xmas, birthdays, easter!!

Decided to rejoin 2 weeks ago, weighing 10stone 6lb! I would love to loose 2stone to take me back to pre DS size! My weigh in day is a Saturday. First week I was -5lb, last week stayed the same Sad.

How is everyone finding it? I struggle the most with resisting chocolate on an evening once DS is in bed!!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 12/05/2016 21:24

Hiya Rainbows !!
I lost 1lbs tonight , 6lbs for goal . It's harder and harder but I've lost 26.5lbs so far !

RainbowsAndUnicorns23 · 12/05/2016 21:42

KenDodds that's amazing! Well done to you! Dreading weigh in day on Sat.. feel like I've had a rubbish week again Sad

I really struggle with meals so I end up always having a micro meal Blush then put lettuce or broccoli with it.

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 12/05/2016 23:32

Hi Rainbow! Welcome Smile
I've only been doing WW for couple of weeks. Lost 4 pounds first week and then half a pound last week. I've been very Halo but think it's going to be a very slow journey. Have been swimming and walking all week, so would love to lose a pound this week to get me into the 10 stones again !! I did really well years ago when I lost two and a half stone (took me 6 months). Good luck.

Wisheverydaywasfriday · 12/05/2016 23:32

Well done Ken!! Star

My 10K steps is what's helping , I'm going out for a little walk most nights . Wish I had a dog so I don't look like a knob !!!

poorpaws · 13/05/2016 22:38

You can borrow one of my dogs Ken 😀 I always manage my 10,000 steps just on a dog walk although I do walk slowly. Failed again this week as I've been eating my huge Easter chocolate bar. I knew once I started it I wouldn't be able to stop. I wished I'd given it away like I did most of the Christmas chocolate. Weigh day is Sunday and I'm expecting quite a gain and then I'm getting down to it . I know I keep saying this but I really am going to start doing this properly now.

Well done to everyone else, no one seems to be struggling quite as badly as I am at the moment. I just can't wait to get back into the right frame of mind. I do come here every day for inspiration so hopefully soon I will be losing too. You are all doing brilliantly!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 14/05/2016 04:47

Paws , walking burns more fat than running it just doesn't build muscle in the way that running does !
I've been massively struggling with returning to old habits - a head in the cupboard for a handful of maltesers , a little slice of cheese here and there . Then Shock when I count the points !

Resurgo · 14/05/2016 07:22

Back again. I had a really rubbish week last week. I don't know what the damage was because I couldn't get to weigh-in but that may be a good thing. Sometimes it's good to face up to it and sometimes it isn't! I'm glad to see so many of you are doing well. I haven't been reading the thread which is part of my problem I think. I need to immerse myself in all things diet related for a few weeks to get in the zone. I'm definitely an all or nothing type of gal so time to get a bit obsessive! So I started my new week on Thursday morning and, as always happens, all my weeklies are gone by the end of Friday night. I need to sort that. Anyway, for this week I need to stay inside points every day - I'm going to try to do my 10,000 steps too - so the question is what to eat.
I have made some veg soup which is about a point a bowl and I'll make some more with mushrooms I have in the fridge. I saw a tip on another thread for Tesco stir fry veg with half a sauce sachet so I doing that. Lunches tend to be a problem for me. Anyone got any good food ideas? I find I need to have really tasty food so I don't feel deprived.

Charliej86 · 14/05/2016 13:47

I'm back!! I had decided to take a week off for wedding and honeymoon but it turned into 4weeks.
Weigh in was this morning and amazingly I've only gained 1.5lbs!!! I really don't know how I've ate and drank everything in sight with very little exercise.
I have 13.5lbs to get to goal but have nothing to focus on really now. The wedding was my reason for joining.
I'm going to give no count a try tho, I've bought the new cook book and looking forward to trying some recipes.
