Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

Woo hoo once twice !

oncetwicetwotimesamummy · 25/03/2016 12:14

Thanks. 2 lbs seems to be the theme of the week!

Interestingly my mum who many decades ago was a ww leader said it was because ww was a lifestyle not a diet and that's why it worked even without counting accurately this week.

bettybyebye · 25/03/2016 21:02

Well done oncetwice! Well I have fallen spectacularly off the wagon today as been to a hot cross bun party and had far too much to eat Blush
Have tried to pull it back with a light healthy tea (salmon and veg) and have walked over 10,000 steps and done the shred. But - we're having a little Easter party tomorrow and then family dinner on Sunday so the rest of the weekend will be tough tough tough!

Charliej86 · 26/03/2016 10:39

3.5lbs off!!! I can't take the credit tho I've been full of cold and struggled to eat. I've had to force myself to eat and its never been a healthy food.

Drinksforeveryone · 26/03/2016 14:50

Some good losses here.
I am hopeful for my Monday morning weigh-in. Yes, really - the Monday after Easter. ;)

SparklyBoots1977 · 27/03/2016 17:20

I've been lurking on the thread for a few weeks now trying to pluck up the courage to post. In 2006/2007 I lost 106lb at ww. Kept it off until about a year ago, then for some reason started binge eating again and have put on over 2 stone. My old meeting closed down and doing it online wouldn't motivate me so I'm going to try to get back on track at home and use the thread for support. You all seem very lovelySmile

Drinksforeveryone · 27/03/2016 19:30

Good plan Sparklyboots

No time like the present :)

Quick question from me - Am out for indian food this eve. Am driving - so no cals on wine/beer - what would be my best options for food ?

Tandoori chicken breast and a bit of boiled rice ? From the starter menu.

I know that the main dishes, the creamy curries will be more calorific- oil and butter etc. How about a veg side dish - dhal or cauliflower bhaji ?

I shouldhave figured this out earlier.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/03/2016 20:14

Hello Sparkly , this thread will keep you going !
Yes something like tandoori chicken , dry chicken tikka and either half an naan or some rice . Yum.

Juliecloud · 27/03/2016 22:18

I've fallen off the wagon this weekend. I'm dreading standing on the scales tomorrow. Oh well. Back on it in the morning!

SparklyBoots1977 · 28/03/2016 06:55

Thanks for the welcome. I'm ready to start after a weekend long choc binge. My meals are always healthy, it's the snacking I struggle with. Weighed 13st1lb this morning. Heaviest I've been in a long time. My first goal will be to get back in the 12 stone bracket. Hope everyone has a good day.

Drinksforeveryone · 28/03/2016 10:24

1 lb off here.

I hopes for more as did weigh in at less at home through ths week.

DH is a bad influence !

Re my indian last night : I had a fish sizzler. Was a piece of haddock with spices (loads of chillies) and roasted/ fried onions and peppers. Was v nice - no cream or oil. Had a bit of a garlic nan. Lush.

Rosepetal72 · 28/03/2016 15:18

Can I join please? I'm starting smart points tomorrow. I have to do something about my weight :( I am nearly 12.5 stone and 5'5", I would like to get to the top of my healthy range (10'10") by 26/6 which is when we go to Vegas to celebrate my husband's 50th. I lost over 3 stone on vintage points after both my pregnancies (youngest child is now 17!) but since then I haven't done anything about the christmas and holiday pounds and have ended up at this very uncomfortable weight

SparklyBoots1977 · 28/03/2016 15:38

We can start this together Rose petal. I'm sticking with propoints and filling and healthy. Don't think I'd get on very well with smart points because of my terrible sweet tooth. Over the years I've bought countless points calculators and other gadgets so I'm determined to do it cheaply this time.

poorpaws · 29/03/2016 00:32

Welcome rosepetal and sparkly.

I had an absolutely fantastic first five days of the week and was looking forward to weigh in because I knew it would be a good result. Then was unexpectedly invited out yesterday and today and messed it all up! I didn't even get chance to weighin as I was out so postponed it until today and was out again so I've no idea how I've done. I'm quite pleased Easter is over and I can get back to some normality.

I'm quite looking forward to getting back on track in April although I have at least three evening meals out and quite a few lunches which is not like a normal month for me. I always cave in when I eat out and there are too many family birthday meals in April (we take each other out instead of buying presents now). A big part of me wishes that I could be left alone to get on with my weight loss but I realise this is not the right attitude, I am just desperate to be thinner. On a positive note the trousers I wore today did feel a little looser around the tummy, not a massive difference but definitely a little .

Hope you all managed to get through Easter ok and we can all support each other until the next holiday. Good luck with weigh ins, I image there could be a few small gains but I hope I'm wrong!😉

bettybyebye · 29/03/2016 08:00

I'm weighing in at 10am paws and pretty sure it'll be a 1lb or 2 on! Time to draw a line under Easter and get back on track, pointing everything...it's just sooo hard when my house is FULL of chocolate!

oncetwicetwotimesamummy · 29/03/2016 14:23

I have been round the house this morning and thrown all the chocolate out. Cannot get on with it sitting in the cupboard.
Although I did discover that a small pack of haribo is only 2sp so have kept them! They take forever to eat as well.

SparklyBoots1977 · 29/03/2016 18:55

Couldn't bear to throw out my chocolate so I've asked my husband to hide it and only give it to me if I absolutely begWink or I've got enough points left to have some guilt free.

RupertPupkin · 29/03/2016 20:07

Well, I'm back from a week away and put 2lb on. :( Oh well, onwards and upwards! I didn't eat everything in sight but I did have quite a few beers and they certainly add up.

bettybyebye · 29/03/2016 20:18

1lb on for me! Totally expected and not too horrific considering what I put away over the week! Have drawn a line under it and started afresh today, pointing everything.

Once I'm impressed you have thrown all the chocolate out - DH and DS would never forgive me!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 30/03/2016 06:01

Judging by my class Facebook group , everyone has enjoyed their Easter ! I did really enjoy my weekend , still within points and weeklies but ate the wrong things . Mega sugar crash on Monday at work , headache the works Sad Damn you cornflake nests.

SparklyBoots1977 · 31/03/2016 07:15

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was my birthday and normally I'd have a meal out, cake and chocolates etc, but I'm pleased to say that I stayed on track. Had a filling and healthy day and this morning I feel really proud of myselfSmile. How's everyone else doing?

poorpaws · 31/03/2016 18:04

Happy Birthday for yesterday Sparkly. Well done you, with that attitude you will definitely lose your weight.

I am pleased to report I have met my first three month target and lost my first stone (by the skin of my teeth and without an ounce to spare) phew!

Next target is another stone by 30 June. It's an uphill struggle all the way!

Good luck everyone, Easter is done we can all get back on it.

SparklyBoots1977 · 31/03/2016 18:11

Thanks poorpawsSmile You've done really well hitting your target and you're an inspiration. Good luck with the next stage. The threads gone a bit quiet since easter but hopefully it'll pick up.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 31/03/2016 19:21

Get in poor paws !!! Well done !!!
I lost 1lbs which I'm happy with after the chicken kebab and lamb dinner .

Drinksforeveryone · 31/03/2016 19:24

Good work everyone.

Even if you gained over this weekend it's just a case of getting back on track.

I'm only in my 4th full week - and so far am finding the plan pretty simple. It's just staying off the booze I find hard. Too many points to give in too often.

I've been treating myself to the in meeting bars this week - with an afternoon coffee. The fudge brownie bars are 2 sp. They are small, yes -but just enough to go with a short strong coffee.

Also have the licorice drops, but they give me terrible gurgly guts. And have a slight laxative effect! Can't eat too many of those :)
