Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

Hello, can I join? I've been WWing for three weeks and I've lost 17lb. The weight is just falling off, for the first time in my life, although I expect it the weight loss will level out in the next week or so. I am eating all my weeklies and most of my exercise points. I would like to lose another 20lb to put me in a healthy BMI.

Found the first two weeks REALLY hard but am now adjusting. I don't eat a lot of meat and I've found it hard to figure out what to eat to stay full. But I think I'm in the rhythm now. My problem is that I tend to be able to stick to something rigidly for a while and then just give it all up.

Have enjoyed reading your stories for inspiration!

Miffytastic · 15/03/2016 08:11

Welcome Rupert! Sounds like you're doing really well. I have been doing this since September this time around, so in a way I have adjusted, but I always seem to gain when I tell myself I'm "off" the diet, so that's going to be my next challenge...

Drinksforeveryone · 15/03/2016 09:35

rupert that is an excellent loss so far. Well done.

Am doing well today. but it's only just gone breakfast time ;)

I need to plan meals better - instead of going to the fridge and having a look what is in there.

ChristmasEvePJs · 15/03/2016 11:24

Hi everyone, I have vanished this week due to work but have tried my hardest to stay on track.
I had a huge non scale victory (I know how wanky that sounds) and the dress I wore for a HUGE meeting was a size smaller, with the help on spanks I felt more confident.
Hoping for a loss tomorrow, would love my 5%!

Rupert, 17lbs is amazing, I am praying for slow and steady.

NiceandaSlice · 15/03/2016 16:27

17lb is amazing Rupert! I've had a pretty pants week and this week is not shaping up well (close family funeral and DD's 3rd birthday party). However I have lost another lb! I am struggling a bit with lack of sweet treats as I avoid anything with artificial sweeteners in, so I've gone over points a few times due to craving sweets. At least I feel the smart points are guiding me to better choices! Also considering getting a FitBit.

MrsJorahMormont · 15/03/2016 16:28

Welcome drinks, moo and Rupert Smile

drinks I have changed my WI day to Wednesday because Monday wasn't working out at all. If you eat all your points at the weekend like me then Monday WIs are really demotivating. Is there another one you can do?

I went mad over the weekend as usual so having a low points day today to try and undo some of the horror Blush Going to make chicken and rice for dinner with a very low point sauce!

MrsJorahMormont · 15/03/2016 16:29

Well done nice, really hard to lose with so much going on. Sorry for your (bereavement) loss Thanks

RupertPupkin · 15/03/2016 19:33

Thanks for the welcome! Yes it's an amazing loss so far, I'm just concerned about what to do when it slows down, it will be harder to stick to.

I've only been doing this for three weeks. Can anyone tell me does there come a point where you DON'T think about food every second of the day?!

Nice well done on your loss, events like those make it really difficult. I am fine during a "normal" week but have to try really hard to not fall off the wagon when anything out of the ordinary pops up!

NiceandaSlice · 15/03/2016 20:45

Thanks MrsJorah and Rupert - I am a terrible comfort eater and find it bloody hard in these situations. I didn't realise you could change your WI day - I think I will do that for mine too as I find the Monday weigh in a bit depressing!

MrsJorahMormont · 15/03/2016 22:22

Yes nice you can go to any meeting, just one WI a week though. It's a shame about our local WI as it's very convenient and the leader is nice but at the minute I just want to keep my motivation up.

ChristmasEvePJs · 16/03/2016 10:02

I hope this week is better for you Nice, I am sorry you are having a tough time.

First on the scales at this mornings meeting and 2lbs off. Only 0.5lbs away from my 5% now so hoping for that next week. I need 3.5lbs for my 1st stone, my aim is before the 1st of April.

Alfieisnoisy · 16/03/2016 10:37

Weighed in today and lost 3.5lbs so am happy. Will be honest and say that I am finding it tough at the moment but that would be the same no matter what plan I followed.

Charliej86 · 16/03/2016 14:54

Totally off the wagon this week. To be honest I'm enjoying it. I have that voice in back of me head screaming "you get married in 5weeks" but crisps and chocolate are shouting louder. My actual meals aren't bad tho.

MrsJorahMormont · 16/03/2016 18:36

Got my 1 stone off today. Very pleased :o

Drinksforeveryone · 16/03/2016 19:26

Some good losses this week! V impressive :)

I actually made something from the handbook last night.

The jacket potato with burger. V easy to prepare before my fitness class, then just bang on to cook once I was home and getting showered.

Same again tonight ;)

RupertPupkin · 16/03/2016 20:06

Great losses!

I managed to avoid cake twice today, a miracle! Trying to fill up on fruit. Not quite as satisfying...

dottyaboutstripes · 17/03/2016 07:48

I'm creeping in to say I've fallen spectacularly off the wagon. I gained 2.5 this week - tbh it was really because of a big meal the night before weigh in, I lost 2lbs of it by the next day, but now a couple of days into my week I am -74 points Shock
I seem to have just lost control and don't know why.
Well done to everyone else though!

RupertPupkin · 17/03/2016 13:33

It happens. At least you're logging it, although obviously 74 points over must be dispiriting.

I've scoffed half my points already (and it's only 8am).ugh.

Miffytastic · 17/03/2016 13:57

Hang in there Dotty, as Rupert says at least you're logging still, stay with us!

Well done MrsJ! I'm nearly there myself - a pound more to go

oncetwicetwotimesamummy · 18/03/2016 07:22

Lost another 2lb this week. Which considering I definitely had a few days where I was a bit generous with my portion sizes isn't bad.
Need to get back to weighing things out!
1st 1 lb in three weeks - just need to keep motivated now it's slowed down

bettybyebye · 18/03/2016 19:05

Well done on all the recent losses!

I managed a 1lb loss this week which was great as hadn't felt I'd had the best week. Definitely struggling with motivation this week - both dc are sleeping badly at the moment I am so tired I feel like I'm wading through treacle and craving carbs and sugar! Still plodding on with the shred, just about to do day 20 which I really need to do following the pub tea I've just had! 😳

Hope everyone else's weekends have started off better than mine...

Charliej86 · 19/03/2016 11:14

.5lb on. I've had a very bad week and totally feel off the wagon from Thursday (and loved every mouthful of it) so really it's not a bad result.
I'm out today and tomorrow I've promised oh pizza so I'll be back in it Monday.

Drinksforeveryone · 19/03/2016 11:20

I am getting too anxious about my weigh in on Monday.

am deliberately avoiding exercise this weekend - so that my muscles won't be holding any water weight. Also chugging water like it's going out of fashion.

Can't turn up for 2nd weigh in and not have lost anything ?

poorpaws · 19/03/2016 23:25

Thrown myself with gusto from the wagon for two days, eaten more food than should be possible for one person to eat. Weigh in tomorrow so am expecting a huge gain

Do I give up on the diet until after Easter or could I possibly manage a few good days before I tuck into those chocolate eggs. I really wished I hated chocolate!

RupertPupkin · 20/03/2016 04:37

I'm also off the wagon but hopefully just for today. Went out for cocktails and Mexican food and went crazy the dog came home and shoved bread in my face to soak up the booze. Bread is my achilles heel. Lovely, overly bread.
