Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

2lb on Thursday! All my own fault this happens when socialising/meeting up with friends and takeaways. Have been going to the gun 3 times a week but let myself down on the eating front.

Sun to wed I'm fine when working. I'm away to lanzarote on Thursday so not sure how that will go eating wide but I will hang in there.

Hi everyone. I've just started ww online. 6 week old baby and was eating my way through the kitchen like a plague of locusts each day.
Seem to have plenty of points for breastfeeding so hoping tracking will get my eating under control. 2 stone to lose to pre pregnancy weight but would like to lose an extra one to be comfortable.
Any good recipes or tips for family meals?

poorpaws · 28/02/2016 23:35

3lbs off today and I'm delighted! I've made up for the gain last week and an extra pound too.

Do I have to admit that I danced around the kitchen chanting "in the 10s, I'm in the 10s"? Yes it's the high 10s (I'm 10st 13lbs) but I'm so excited to be less than 11 st at last.

Fire I gained 2lbs last week and it really bothered me but don't despair you'll get there.

Once welcome.

Good luck you loses I hope it goes well for you this week.

Miffytastic · 29/02/2016 13:03

paws WOOOOP! love going down into a new stone bracket, can't beat it!

oncetwice I'm veggie but I make things like pasta, chilli and soups for me and my kids (OH eats meat so tends to sort himself out) and just have less or no carbs with it. Cooking with chick peas, quorn and beans and veg means things are quite low in points ,it's just the pasta/rice or cheese that can add up the points.

I had a mixed weekend: out dancing on Friday night so I reckon that will have counteracted the cider points. I did 17,000 steps Friday, and then my fitbit reset at midnight, and by the time I'd walked home and got to bed at 1.45am I'd already done 9000! Went for a big run (for me) on Sunday so hope that will counteract the curry I had on Saturday night. We shall see later.. just hope I don't have to pay more seeing as I've just gone back to paying for to gold esource rather than monthly pass as I'm now within 4lbs of my target weight.

hayser33 · 29/02/2016 16:03

Well done all on weight losses-it's great!!
After losing my 2 lb last week I have put it all back on and then some over Saturday and Sunday.
My weight was down to 12.1 Saturday morning (so 3lb lost since Tuesday nights weigh in)but I was up to 12.6 this morning. I know I shouldn't weigh myself between classes but couldnt help myself . 5 lb in under 2 days seems a huge gain!
Feel really rubbish about myself Sad
I seriously hate how I look yet I go and eat and drink all weekend. .so annoyed !!

Miffytastic · 29/02/2016 21:11

Half a pound on for me. I suppose that's not too bad considering...

hayser33 · 29/02/2016 21:52

No half a pound isint too bad at all miffy
Smile x

poorpaws · 29/02/2016 23:28

Miffy half a pound will be easy to lose again.
hayser I used to weigh myself too often between classes and it never made me feel good. If I'd gained it upset me and if I'd lost I could just have a little treat which often led to another treat. This time I absolutely refuse to weigh until weigh day and although sometimes it's hard it is far more exciting at weigh time especially if there is an unexpected good loss. Don't do it.

hayser33 · 01/03/2016 08:47

I'll try not too poorpaws I might give my scales away to my sister . I do that..if I've lost a bit come Friday which I always have I go a bit mad at weekends then Confused

bettybyebye · 01/03/2016 09:20

It's so hard to resist a cheeky mid week weigh in isn't it? I'm about to head off to weigh in and have been on my scales this morning!

Hayser I think not going too mad at the weekends is a real game changer in the weight loss game (sorry if this isn't what you want to hear!). Prior to starting ww I stayed the same weight for 3 months, which was 2 stone above my pre pregnancy weight (had DD in July). Although I was eating healthily and exercising in the week I was relaxing FAR too much at the weekends, which is why I wasn't losing. I started ww mid Jan and am 15.5lbs down in 6 weeks and I think the main reason is because I track at weekends now too, and even though I relax slightly and use my weeklies I'm eating nowhere near as much as I used to at weekends. Sorry for the essay but this has been quite a revelation for me!

Poorpaws - well done on getting into the 10s! Smile

hayser33 · 01/03/2016 12:21

Yes I really agree I know weekends are my downfall. (I'm too scared to see how many points all my wine come too Shock)
I've got to rein it in 'I've been like this for years with my weight. Im Not even that big in the grand scheme of things but I really hate how I look and I know summer will come and I will live in leggings yet again and be sweltering. I'm always calling myself horrible names too ( I called myself a fat little shit the other day Sad)
Need to sort it out.
15.5 lb in six weeks is remarkable.. really well done !!👍x

dottyaboutstripes · 01/03/2016 12:35

I think you need to track honestly - don't forget everyone that you are paying too if you need to focus your mind!
Weigh in for me today - for the first week in a month or so I wasn't in minus point territory and I lost 1.5lbs so that was nice! Still 2.5 over my pre Xmas weight so that's my next goal.
St David's Day here so need to eat sensibly today so that I can enjoy some Welsh cakes later St DavidsSmile

ChristmasEvePJs · 01/03/2016 16:57

Today is the first of the month, by the end of the month the clocks will have gone forward and we will all want to be enjoying the lighter nights and a lighter backside will help me to do that Blush.
I have been terrible this week, I must be over by around 45sp. BlushBlushBlush
I have just done a big shop, meal planner for the week is done and I will face the music and weigh in tomorrow.

poorpaws · 01/03/2016 19:45

pjs could I order a smaller tummy by the end of March too please. 😳

poorpaws · 01/03/2016 19:53

It's my dreaded meal out tomorrow night. I keep looking at the menu on line. I fancy the fillet steak with Diane sauce but I might have to choose the lemon sole! I've got to have a dessert though so I'll have to be good every day next week. I've not been to this particular restaurant before but it's supposed to be superb. Those of you who go out to eat quite often I just don't know how you cope. Luckily after this one it will be April before I have to eat out again.

ChristmasEvePJs · 01/03/2016 22:29

Poor paws, I wish it was that easy... a wave of a wand and skinny!

Could you have the steak and ask for the sauce on the side? Opt for a healthy side, hold the butter?
Go and enjoy your night, its important to have treats if this is going to work long term.

MrsJorahMormont · 01/03/2016 23:39

Hello just a quick drop in am exhausted but happy to report that I got my first silver seven yesterday Smile It took 5 weeks with all the scoffing at weekends (including the most recent one) but I'm heading in the right direction AND having a good time on the way Grin

Well done to all 'losers', proper catch up tomorrow.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 02/03/2016 06:54

Yippeeeee well done !

bettybyebye · 02/03/2016 09:02

Well done Mrs! And well done dotty too Smile
I managed a 2lb loss yesterday. Went to the theatre last night and "celebrated" with a couple of glasses of wine and some chocolate so have already used a third of my weeklies for this week...

ChristmasEvePJs · 02/03/2016 09:17

Well done Mrs!
Betty, that's what weeklies are for!

Miffytastic · 02/03/2016 11:34

Woop! well done Mrs Ser Jorah ;0)

I've had a couple of revelations this week: borlotti beans are only 4points per can and I'm eating out on Friday and Sunday. It's a fixed meal on Friday so I'm stuck... it's going to take tremendous will power to ignore the already ordered tiramisu ;(

2anddone · 02/03/2016 14:39

Hi everyone. I am 8lb lighter after starting 3 weeks ago. I am off to Florida in May and would love to be lighter for that!! Nervous about this week though as 3 meals out planned for friends birthdays/Mother's Day. I have looked at menus in advance but even though I work out the lowest point option I never seem to actually order it once there Blush.
Would love to lose another 1stone 2lb which would have me at pre baby weight but am wondering if this could be possible!!!

ChristmasEvePJs · 02/03/2016 22:03

I stayed the same today Blush. Tracking every sniff of food this week!

MauriceMossMug · 02/03/2016 22:07

Hello. Can I join in please?
I started doing Weight Watchers two weeks ago.
I did the Cambridge Weight Plan last year and lost three stone and also lost my gallbladder thanks to it, so this time I'm really trying to be sensible and embrace a life change rather than a quick fix.

poorpaws · 03/03/2016 00:02

Welcome Maurice
PJs staying the same isn't too bad but I'll track every sniff with you too.
Mrs very well done, that's fantastic.

I've well and truly buggered up my diet today. As if going out for a meal wasn't bad enough, I ate everything in site all day before I went. I also made very bad choices at the meal and then came home and ate a chocolate bar and hot chocolate. I'm beginning to think there is something seriously wrong with me. Every single time I get into the 10 stones I sabotage myself. It's as if I want to fail and I was doing so well too. I'm so cross and thoroughly ashamed of myself. I'm going to bed in a huff!

Good luck to anyone with weigh-ins coming up soon. At least there is the consolation that you'll do better than me however bad it is . 🙈
I feel like giving up ... But I won't!!
