Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

Hayser - I'm a bit daft and do 'nil by mouth' from about 3.30 til weigh in at 7. Then have a cuppa and snack at the meeting. I only live 15mins walk from meeting tho so can eat my tea by 8pm

Does anyone know how the weeklies are calculated? I've gone down to 28 :( wondering when it might go to 21 argh!

Charliej86 · 23/02/2016 11:00

Thank you jorah, I really need it! I want 2.5lbs off this week! I managed to ignore the wine in the fridge last nite I can do it again! Lol

hayser33 · 23/02/2016 14:53

I can only go in the evening as I go with my mum and sis.
I've just had soup and a Warburton thin with some ham..hopefully that won't make me weigh to much more. Got a nice curry when I get home 😊

dottyaboutstripes · 23/02/2016 17:16

Miffy I've been wondering about the weeklies. I'm at goal but wanting to lose a little bit but I'm on 28 weeklies so I don't understand how anyone can be on fewer??
I lost 0.5 this week which is insane as I lost the plot and ate enough for about 3 people Blush
I still haven't lost any of my Xmas weight gain and it's almost March! It's like I relaxed over Xmas and now I can't stop eating/feeling hungry all the time

KenDoddsDadsDog · 23/02/2016 18:37

They go down in 7s apparently but you will never have fewer than 30 points daily

MrsJorahMormont · 23/02/2016 19:03

I imagine they have their own magic formula, a bit like the old points where they used age, weight, height, gender etc to calculate it all. I'm still on 42 weeklies and I use every one of them! Confused

I have the start of a rotten cold coming on. Feel tired and wretched. My daughter unearthed a forgotten about chocolate orange earlier and managed to scoff a quarter of it. I am so tempted to scoff the rest, in bed, watching something crap on the telly

CharleyDavidson · 23/02/2016 19:48

I found it interesting that it now says that you can use your fitbits for extra points if you need them as long as you earn a minimum of 3 points first. That's changed since the first info of 'don't use them unless you are training hard for something'. I did find the points values a bit restrictive, so had changed it to being able to swap points - mostly for the psychological buffer that they were there if I did really need them, without me then thinking that I'd spoiled it all.

It makes the plan a little more do-able for me now they are doing that.

CharleyDavidson · 23/02/2016 19:51

Fitpoints, not fitbits!

hayser33 · 23/02/2016 20:36

First weigh in and lost 2 lb it could of been more but I've only stuck to plan 60%of the timeGrinso very pleased really

KenDoddsDadsDog · 23/02/2016 20:38

Nice work hayser !! It's a fridge pack of baked beans so quite a bit when you think of it like that .

bettybyebye · 23/02/2016 21:23

Well done hayser! I managed 2.5 off this week which I am delighted with, got my 1st stone off award too 😊. No meals or nights out planned this week so going to try to have a good one

Miffytastic · 23/02/2016 21:50

Well done Hayser :)

Re- weeklies, I might tinker with my weight on the website and see what would lower it to 28 or 14.

hayser33 · 23/02/2016 21:58

Thanks all Smileand we'll done on yr 2.5 off Betty and for getting yr stone award that's brilliant!

poorpaws · 23/02/2016 22:57

I gained 2 lbs this week but it was expected as I've been eating lots whilst I was ill. I started again yesterday and will hopefully be back on track now though I still feel rotten.

Mrs I am doing this at home by myself. I was at goal for a long time and then the weight piled on and I just don't want to pay again. I feel it cost me a lot last time and if I've done it once I should know enough to do it again. Apart from this week (and I would still have gained if I was paying) I'm doing well. I don't think it's necessary to pay out especially with the support on here. I suppose it depends how much you need to lose but my advice would be to save your money.

poorpaws · 23/02/2016 22:58

Forgot to say well done to everyone there have been some good losses. 👍

Overtiredbackagain · 24/02/2016 09:07

Hi there, can I join you? I'm signing up today to three months online. I'm busy full time working mum of three gorgeous kids aged 10, 6 and 7 months and struggling to shift baby weight this time. I'm currently 11st 7lbs but looking to lose 1st 7lb by end of May when we go Portugal for a week.

I did WW years ago and found it good but how does it compare now with SP?

MrsJorahMormont · 24/02/2016 11:03

Welcome overtired Smile I lost on Discovery but didn't get on with ProPoints at all. The new Smart Points one is good so far, as you never go below 30 daily points, whereas on the old one once you lost some weight your points dropped to starvation levels. That said, I have a few stone to lose so I get high weeklies (42 at the minute) which gives good flexibility. I will miss them when they drop (think they get as low as 28) but will probably just begin exercising at that point.

Well done hayser and betty Smile And commiserations poorpaws, it's crap when you're ill and tired and just want to eat everything in sight. I felt poorly last night and really fancied some chocolate but managed to just have a WW dark choc mint bar. I really recommend these - they are a bit like a much chewier, minty Milky Way with dark choc on and they really hit the spot! I was pleased I managed to resist the chocolate but only because I had them on standby!

Overtiredbackagain · 24/02/2016 11:52

Thank you! I'm now signed up and ready to get started. I have 30 daily points and 35 weekly at the moment. Can I just ask what the FitPoints are? You don't add them to you daily allowance??

Miffytastic · 24/02/2016 12:02

Welcome overtired I've also got my sights set on May bank holiday as it's my birthday then too. I'm liking smartpoints, now I've adjusted to the lower sugar /processed treats way of thinking.

MrsJ Ooh thanks I'll try those. I find WW in meeting products a bit hit and miss. I can recommend having a stash of green&blacks mini bars in, they're 15g,and snap in half easily so you can choose whether to have 2 points or 4

On the weeklies - I couldn't tinker with my settings and can't see how mine would go below 28 but I have read on here they can go as low as 14. Might be height/frame dependent too.

Miffytastic · 24/02/2016 12:12

Update - just spoken to them on the expert chat, (I do love this feature on the ww site). They asked for my age, weight and height, and for me,it'll drop to 14 when (if!) I go below 9 stone.
I also checked what my maintenance points would be, presuming I am maintaining at above 9 stone it'd be 36 a day and 28 weeklies... Really need to crack the maintenance thing this time, as I don't want to pile it all on for the nth time.

MrsJorahMormont · 24/02/2016 15:34

Miffy I don't even see how 14 weeklies would work plus 30 a day, when maintaining would be 36 daily plus 28 weekly Confused Is it just going below 9 stone that makes it drop so low? Do you mind if I ask roughly what age and height you are? I have no danger of ever dropping below 9 stone so I should be safe enough :o

MyDogStinks · 24/02/2016 15:54

Hi - really late to the party but I joined a month ago (just to the online thing) and I appear to just be arseing about and not really doing it. I need a massive kick up the pants and want to lose at least a stone in the next 6 weeks (I've got 2 to lose to get back into the healthy BMI range). I'm a bit disillusioned this week as i noted everything last week and only lost half a pound so need some tough talking and a bit of encouragement! Off to rtft. Grin

Miffytastic · 24/02/2016 16:08

MrsJ yeah it doesn't sound like much does it?
I'm 5-6, and early 40s. I don't think I would ever get below 9 tbh. I have only seen 9-something on the scales fleetingly in the last decade. Mind you, my mum is the same height and similar frame to me, but smaller chest, and she is between 8 and 9, so maybe it's possible...

dottyaboutstripes · 24/02/2016 16:17

I'd rather be a bit fatter than go down to 14 weeklies!!! 9st at 5ft 6 must be quite a low bmi?

ChristmasEvePJs · 24/02/2016 16:55

I weighed in this morning and lost 2.5lbs. That takes me to 8lb this month and my first 7. Down to 30 daily points and 41weekly.
Well done on the loses, 1/2lb is a lot!!!
