Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

7lb weight loss is amazingSmile

Jenfarrugia · 19/02/2016 06:46

Morning everyone. So my son is two at the end of March and I'm still battling with the baby weight. I've got weight watchers online subscription but I go off track so easily. I'd love to go to the meetings but with work and rushing home to get my son ready for bed etc there just isn't enough time. How does everyone stay on track? I really want to lose this 1 stone once and for all! Thanks Smile

KenDoddsDadsDog · 19/02/2016 07:00

I didn't ever go to a meeting and it's now helping me . You can just go to be weighed - my class is at 6.30pm but will weigh until 7.30pm so some weeks I nip in and out.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 19/02/2016 07:51

Hi Jen do you use the WW app? It's a diary that helps you keep on track of points and is much easier to use than the website, I find.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 19/02/2016 07:53

I still haven't won't weighed myself but my stomach is definitely shrinking. When I look down it doesn't stick out further than my breasts any more Blush Progress

bettybyebye · 19/02/2016 08:40

Well done Ken and lesquigh on the losses!

justkeeponsmiling · 20/02/2016 09:47

Amazing weightloss LeSquigh ! Very well done!
Ken that is fab, so pleased you managed to loose!
Poor glad you are on the mend. Don't beat yourself up over the McDonalds, if it was the first time this year that's not bad at all I think. Did you enjoy it?
Well I came down with a horrible virus at work Tuesday night. High temp and splitting headache. Just about made it through the shift but went to bed Wednesday morning and stayed there more or less until yesterday. Feeling better this morning, temp finally down and headaches are manageable. Still used up most of my dailies by eating toast with butter (only thing I fancied) and having endless cups of hot lemon with honey. And DH bought me some crisps specially last night, would have been rude not to eat them Smile No idea what the scales will say on monday as I have literally not moved except for going to the loo.

justkeeponsmiling · 20/02/2016 09:54

Jen I also only do the online ww. Like shove said, I track everything religiously via the ww app on my phone. It's so handy and easy to use. Have you tried it?
Shove well done on the shrinking stomach! How do you manage to stay motivated without weigh-ins? Have you set a specific date/goal as to when you will step on the scales? I'm really interested as I don't think I would manage to stick with it if I didn't have that weekly "reward" or "reminder" iyswim.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 20/02/2016 14:19

I'm glad you're feeling better Just Thanks I don't weigh myself because I don't find it motivating, just stressful (Anxiety issues). I have a pair of jeans that is my medium term goal and just feeling better in myself helps keep me motivated too.

I bought some vegan chocolate but it's in my DH's car for safekeeping. It's annoying that I can't trust myself to be around certain foods but I have to be realistic I suppose.

poorpaws · 20/02/2016 16:37

smiling yes the Macdonalds meal was good but I'm not sure it was worth all the points. Hope you are fully recovered now.

Well I've really messed up this week! I've been so poorly this last few days, lost my voice (some people would say that's a good thing), not moved far and eaten everything that couldn't walk away. Could be a huge gain on Sunday but I can't help it, when I feel ill I eat. Hopefully by Monday I will feel better and then I intend to start again. I might even dust my treadmill off and us it again (I've had it for years but never use it). I do feel I've let myself down this week but I have to put it all behind me and start again.

Everyone seems to be doing okay so good luck to everyone with the dreaded weighin. granny it shows great strength of character to work on weight loss and not weigh yourself, I wouldn't be able to do that. Well done on he shrinking stomach, that's just where the majority of my weigh is, but mine isn't shrinking YET!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 20/02/2016 19:43

Just made chicken Rogan Josh with one of the in meeting kits . Really nice . I treated myself to a naan with it so 16 points for the meal but you could make it 11 with rice .

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 21/02/2016 09:05

That is a nice thing to say poorpaws Smile, good luck with your weigh in today!

I had a few gin last night and since I haven't drunk much this year it went to my head a bit. Oops. At least I didn't get the munchies or anything like that but it did help get me through watching The Voice (why do I watch it ).

ColeslawSandwich · 21/02/2016 09:47

Shove that made me laugh Smile

Hello all I'm going to start meetings gain this week - I've been to goal twice before. I'm now at my heaviest ever 14.5 stone (at least). I've 2 nice nice holidays booked for this year so would like to look somewhat decent at the pool.

I'll check in here again after the meeting.

ColeslawSandwich · 21/02/2016 09:48

"nice nice" just means nice - they're not that fabulous Grin

MrsJorahMormont · 22/02/2016 10:50

Well, WI later today. After yet more visitors over the weekend and the feeding and booze frenzy that ensued, I can safely assume it will be a gain.

I am banning ALL visitors from our house for the foreseeable future!

bettybyebye · 22/02/2016 11:59

Good luck Mrs! I have been good all week, except for Saturday night when I went out for dinner and had wine, cocktails and gin. Tried to choose a healthy main and no pudding so not going to stress about it as I don't go out too often and had a great time! Have also done 6 days of The shred this week so feeling good fitness wise. Weigh in tomorrow morning...

Miffytastic · 22/02/2016 12:53

Cocktails and gin, my favourite tipples :)
Good luck for weigh in later Mrs J it's mine too this eve

NSV for me: I have lost 5cm off my waist since I started WW in September. I'm an apple shape so it's where I store the most flab. I think I can see a bit of a waistline emerging :)

fireandblood · 22/02/2016 14:00

Aah I'm still trying to get back in zone! Back to work last night and kids back to school today so hopefully that will help me back into routine.

Well done everyone that's still hanging in there and/or going strong.

I'm going to make a conscious effort to check in here every few days to help me stop going off track again!

MrsJorahMormont · 22/02/2016 19:19

Well, it was 1lb on. Could have been worse. Could have been MUCH worse :o

I am taking it seriously this week. The last few weeks have been unnaturally busy with visitors and they always want to eat out lots. No one is coming for at least a month so I want to get serious about this! I have drawn up a meal planner on the computer and filled it in and going to print out some food diary / tracker things.

How many of you are doing it on your own? I am begrudging spending the money a bit and wondering if I should go solo and just use this thread as my WI. That way I could pick whatever morning I wanted to WI instead of having to rush to a meeting on a Monday evening and then rush home.

Miffytastic · 22/02/2016 19:33

3lbs off. I don't quite know how, must be TOTM loss as much as anything.
Still I'm happy as now in the cheaper goal zone

KenDoddsDadsDog · 22/02/2016 19:53

Top work miffytastic ! And Mrs Jorah you will lose that and more Smile

MrsJorahMormont · 22/02/2016 20:52

Well done Miffy, Ken and everyone who's had a successful week! Smile

Thanks Ken I just need to screw my head back into place and lock the door when anyone knocks, especially if they are carrying wine and cake Wink

Charliej86 · 22/02/2016 21:13

I'm hoping I'm back on it this week. I have 8 weeks until my wedding! 5 weeks till I must take dress to get altered. My OH is away for 12 days so less temptation for drink but more for takeaways coz it's easier. 1stone to go please!!!

hayser33 · 23/02/2016 08:03

Well done people on their weight losses.
It's my first weigh in tonight- if others get weighed at night do you all just eat as normal during that day??
I'm not getting weighed until 7pm so I wot get my tea until 8.30ish but if I eat before I get weighed I'll be really heavy won't I? If you know what I mean Grin

MrsJorahMormont · 23/02/2016 10:16

Charlie you can do it! Smile

hayser I think start as you mean to go on. I couldn't wait until 8.30 so I would either eat beforehand every week and try and have roughly the same or I would take a snack along to keep me going. It's a really annoying time tbh. Is there another local class at a better time? I like morning weigh ins but the closest one is really far away.
