Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

STS ... As I did last week. I know I've eaten well this week but, so I shouldn't grumble but I really need to lose next week before TOTM kicks in again

ChristmasEvePJs · 09/02/2016 11:21

Well done on the loses and don't be disheartened by sts. I bet your loss is just banked for next week!

My weigh in is a Wednesday, ideal as I can get by on dailies on weekdays and make my weeklies my weekenders!

I think it takes me around 7lb to see a difference in my clothes and a 14-21lbs to drop a dress size. We are all different but it goes eventually.

dottyaboutstripes · 09/02/2016 11:59

Here's my confession. I went over by 120 points this week and gained 1lb! Cannot grumble!
Going to attempt actually being sensible this week though will indulge in a pancake or 3 later

MrsJorahMormont · 09/02/2016 12:29

Poorpaws I can just feel that my jeans aren't as tight but sadly they don't look much different yet. I think dress sizes depends a lot on your shape. I honestly find about 1.5 - 2 stone range within a size. So I can wear my size 16 jeans anywhere between 12.5-14.5 stone, a size 14 anywhere between 11-12.5 stone. I have quite an hourglass figure when I am slimmer, my tummy carries all my weight when I get overweight. My boobs and hips stay curvy. I will never have a fashionably boyish figure! So once I drop a few more lbs I will be back in my size 16 jeans but will stay there for the next 2 stone!

three weeks of stagnation - and a pound on Monday ... Going away for a few days and a few bottles of wine this weekend so not expecting much better next Monday - all I can think is at least I'm not gaining too much and still 10 lbs lighter than november when I started . Might just change to myfitnesspal though as £12 a month to stay the same is a bit ridiculous

MrsJorahMormont · 09/02/2016 23:10

uppity are you being really honest with tracking? I am already finding myself 'forgetting' milk in coffee etc. whereas the first week I was brutally honest. I also 'forgot' some crisps that came with my lunch today. Could you try mixing it up a bit - maybe having a few days on 28 points and then a few days using all your weeklies?

bettybyebye · 10/02/2016 10:01

2.5lbs off for me yesterday which I was delighted with as had been out on Saturday night and drank wine and cocktails and eaten crisps and cake. I did have very good days on Sunday and Monday though to try and pull it back. Total loss is now 12.5lbs in 4 weeks so am aiming for 1.5 off next week to hit the stone. Want to push the weight loss as much as I can in these early weeks as I know it will start to slow down soon.

As a general rule I try not to eat all my weeklies as I leave them as a buffer for when I don't track things eg I never track the milk I have in tea or a scraping of lurpak lightest on toast, seems to be working so far.

I did have a bit of a pancake binge binge last night and have dinner out on Friday so need to be very good for the rest of the week! As well as giving up chocolate for lent I am going to try to complete the 30 day shred too...

uppitywho · 10/02/2016 17:51

mrsjorah oh there's no secret -I'm not in denial I am just a pig! I track everything but have had mad moments of food frenzy - new plan is to eat lunch as late as possible - I know if I eat at 12 then by 4.30 I'm ravenous and have out of body experiences watching myself stuff my face at the fridge. If I wait til 2 to eat my lunch , the cravings happen at work and food not available - I am not so hungry when I get home and can generally hold out til dinner. So we will see - sneaked an extra weigh in yesterday and had skimmed in under the mythical 13 st by a pound so it will work -

ChristmasEvePJs · 10/02/2016 20:20

1.5lbs off today. Smile

Sparkygal · 10/02/2016 20:24

So I have started using the value diary app which has the old ww propoints this year, I was 11st 11.5lbs ... Am now ... 11st 10lbs!!!
I got down to 11st 7lbs by the end of Jan and have totally sabotaged it and put it all back on arggghhh.

I have come to the conclusion I am a sugar addict and totally binge on it.

Going to give myself a shake and start again on Monday fingers crossed.

I want to get to about 10st 3lbs.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 11/02/2016 08:03

I had a bad day yesterday where I had eaten most of my calories by 10am and was sure I was going to have a binge day. However, I managed to not have lunch and have an early tea though and stayed on track. Phew.

I think I've realised that there are certain foods I just can't have in the house so I'm trying to think of snacks for my DD and DH that I don't like so they won't be a temptation. Ice cream is one.

I hope you all have a good day, I'm making chickpea and carrot tagine for tea so, looking forward to that.

Charliej86 · 11/02/2016 10:07

We ended up having a 'party' tea last night. I didn't point, but didn't have as much as I could have so small bonus. We're having spag Bol for tea, I may try get some courgetti tho. I'm out for tea tomorrow so think it'll have to be steak with a low point dinner. I really need a loss!!!

ChristmasEvePJs · 11/02/2016 15:37

I got new trainers and running (well power walking) headphones on my lunch break today. Aiming for an additional 20k each week. A few years ago I was running 5-10k every day, I am now 5st overweight and determined to get back into it!!!

ChristmasEvePJs · 11/02/2016 15:43

Shoveyergranny, I am the same with certain foods. Have frozen yogurt in instead, funsize malteasers, count on us chocolate mousse and small bags of popcorn as accessible reasonable point treats.

Had friends for dinner on Sunday and gave them griddled pineapple, choc shot and one small scoop of frozen yogurt as a dessert, a mere 3pp and amazing!

Miffytastic · 11/02/2016 15:57

Sounds like a fab pudding - what's a choc shot?

MrsJorahMormont · 11/02/2016 17:22

Crisps are my trigger food.

Choc shot is a liquid, chocolate sweetener. You'll find it in a bottle with the sugar and sweeteners and it's amazing. Two teaspoons in coffee will give you a very low point mocha and it's great on pancakes etc. The natural one is nice too, very good mixed into Quark or puddings.

Not too bad so far today, 13 points so far and going to make a really nice big pasta dinner! Saving all my weeklies for a big meal and drinks on Sat night! Smile

Miffytastic · 11/02/2016 18:13

Oh yes, thank you I have had it once before and couldn't remember what it was called. Off to add it to my tesco order :)

ChristmasEvePJs · 11/02/2016 19:40

I love it, great with so many things.

Just discovered old el paso stand and stuff tortillas are only 2sp each. Just had one filled with 130g chicken, loads of veg, 15g low fat cheddar,1tbs natural yogurt and rocket. Super stuffed for 5sp!!!

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 12/02/2016 09:15

Ooh I must look up the choc shots.

I tried to go on the WW website today as I'm an online member only (I use the app for logging points). The website is awful isn't it? I came off it in frustration and am going to cancel my subscription. It is impossible to find the community bit and nobody is on there anyway (probably can't find it).

I can't afford to be spending money on something that doesn't even work Angry

MrsJorahMormont · 12/02/2016 09:28

Those tortillas sound lovely Christmas!

Shove it would be worth you going to a meeting just for one week to get the pack.

The next few days are going to be really busy so hope my discipline lasts!

KinkyAfro · 12/02/2016 11:56

Hi all, 4th WI last night and I lost another 3 lbs and hit my 5% - really pleased with how it's going so far.

justkeeponsmiling · 12/02/2016 12:34

Could somebody with an eating out guide please help me? I was wondering if said how many points there are in a portion of fish and chips from the chippie? I've looked on the website and they only seem to list fish & chips from Brewers Fayre-type places and I'm not sure the points are the same.

KinkyAfro · 12/02/2016 13:11

There's an option on the tracker for fried chips so you'd need to weigh your portion and point accordingly, same with the fish, search for fried fish. They are very pointy, a small portion from my local chipper came in at 35 PRO points so I'd imagine they'd be more on SPs as potatoes are more pointy

Charliej86 · 12/02/2016 14:49

Christmas we use the stand and stuffs for quiches, people at my group are also using them for egg custards.

I'll have a look for the egg custard recipe.

bettybyebye · 12/02/2016 15:13

Ooh those quiches sound great Charlie, thanks for the recipe, and thanks for the tortilla tip Christmas, will definitely search some of those out!

Congrats on the 5% loss kinky Smile
