Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

I gained 1lb this week. I'd gone over my weeklies by 12 but had about 50 fit points I think? I'm kind of fed up. I'm at goal but wanting to just lose a few. I asked my leader about how many points I get if I decide to just maintain and she said an extra 6 per day - yet I gained a pound when I was only over by a little bit???
I wonder if it's my age (peri menopausal here Sad)

MrsJorahMormont · 02/02/2016 15:20

Having a tea break here. I can totally recommend Twinings Gingerbread green tea. It's really nice, smells divine, and leaves a sort of gingerbread taste at the back of your throat that makes it feel weirdly like you have just had a ginger biscuit. Yum! It was £2.79 for a box but I might try the others if they are this nice - apparently there's a caramel apple one.

Christmas that lady sounds really inspiring!

dotty was it a one off week? You might be setting yourself too low a goal?

dottyaboutstripes · 02/02/2016 18:58

I suppose 1lb could be anything really - my friend said "it's just a poo" Wink
Sadly my goal is the absolute top weight for my height! I used to easily maintain 5lbs under but it's getting harder.
On a Tuesday, I take my youngest out for a "date" after school and I drink a pot of tea whilst he shovels cake down his gob - today I had an enormous scone because I thought what the hell! It was lush too!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 02/02/2016 22:13

Thanks MrsJorah I hadn't actually considered that not using my points might be detrimental . I had hyperemesis so badly while pregnant that my body did just that when I started to eat again.

fireandblood · 03/02/2016 04:53

Hi how is everyone doing? Missed the thread for a few days either in my bed at work or chasing my tail.

Still sticking to it I'll be really upset if I don't lose this week but I will not give up.

Everyone stick in there that's struggling we can do it!

I have been sticking to one low alcohol bottle of wine a week compared to 1-2 full alchohol bottles So I was hoping this will make a big difference but time will tell! Maybe I should get back on the wine!!

Hi Everyone - it's weigh in day for me and despite my fitbit / ww app telling me I earned 67 fit points this week I had a big weekend (friends staying, lot so of wine and eating out) and fear the worst! To make matters worse, I have realised that my weeklies have dropped from 35 to 27 sp! What's that all about?! Have I become a victim of my own success due to my 3 pound weightloss?? Hmm

Back on the 2 point veg and lentil soup for me!

cjt110 · 03/02/2016 09:30

So, I had a sneaky peak this morning (I know, I know!). Have been on SP since Mon. And already lost 1.5lbs!!! Up yours stupid SW

Miffytastic · 03/02/2016 11:39

Good luck elf your new weight may have put you in a new bracket..?

yay cjt!

I went out for afternoon tea yesterday, a deal thing I got online ages ago. It wasn't that nice tbh and I've just calculated the points today... and I used up ALL my weeklies plus another 7. So rather pissed off about that, I wish it had been for something I had actively chosen IYSIWIM. I'm off out for dinner at friends' on Saturday too. Arrrgh! All I can think is living on soup and exercising. However I'm fighting the cold the kids have got so not feeling like doing the latter. But maybe I'll go for a stomp in the sunshine if not a run

CormoranStrike · 03/02/2016 13:12

How is your week going? I am still (just) managing not to use all my points each day - it served me well last week and I would love another decent loss. Any loss at all is good but I would adore three pounds, as that would earn me my five per cent badge and get me well on my way.

I am eating out tonight though, so will h e to be wary of accidentally blowing it.

poorpaws · 03/02/2016 14:40

I know just how you feel Cormoran I am hoping/wishing/desperate for a bigger loss this week.

I've got another dreaded meal out next week so this week I am being a complete angel 😇 (so far). I am eating well within points and have increased my daily walks and even done a bit more cleaning! If I don't lose a decent amount by weigh-in on Sunday I will be beyond foul.

Fire - I was wondering what had happened to you. Keep chasing ur tail it's good exercise 😀

I'm off to do a little bit of housework now - thinner thighs, thinner thighs!

bettybyebye · 03/02/2016 15:30

3lb loss for me at weigh in yesterday Smile that puts me at 10lb loss total in 3 weeks and I got my 5% certificate too. Currently 12st0.5lb so determined to get into the 11s next week! I have been lucky in that my first few weeks have been quite quiet socially so I haven't had any alcohol or big meals out. However have got a few meals/nights out planned over the next few weeks so will need to be careful...

ChristmasEvePJs · 03/02/2016 16:36

Well done Betty, I am happy with a 3lb loss today too. 6packs of butter less on my flabby bits Blush.

Have a meal out with friends on Saturday so looking ahead at the menu tonight to plan a good choice. Going to the theatre too so planning a g&t at the interval to save me from the ice cream!

ChristmasEvePJs · 03/02/2016 16:41

Also means I drop a daily point so now 31daily and 42weekly

Charliej86 · 03/02/2016 21:21

I think I'm doing well. Had a slight slip today but within weeklies so I'm not really worried.
I've started kettlebells, and I like it ( so not like me) I'm aiming for 2 classes a week, should manage 3 this week tho 1 was total body conditioning. I can only manage that at mo as OH is off work so that why aim is 2 a week.

MrsJorahMormont · 03/02/2016 22:07

Well done on all the losses :o Elf and Christmas, I know, it's gutting when you drop points, even though you know it means you are losing. I'm down to 30 a day but still have 42 weeklies which is enough to have a decent meal out and a treat or two over the week. Haven't worked out the damage on tonight's dinner yet Blush

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/02/2016 08:38

2.5lbs last night so that's 9 since Jan 7th . Now under 13 stone as well. Grin

MrsJorahMormont · 05/02/2016 10:16

Well done Ken Smile

fireandblood · 05/02/2016 12:48

Well done on all the losses!!

I lost 3lb again yesterday Grin looks like I'm following a wee pattern of only losing ever second week 3lbs. I'll take that!

Have used all my weeklies already. Had a bag of chips yesterday weighed and counted though and low alcohol wine tonight .

Nice dinner planned steak and salad with garlic butter so still something to look forward to but within points.

My week plan goes like this

Fri - steak
Sat - baked potatoes
Sun - dinner at mil so unsure
Mon - pizza (I only eat half) and salad
Tue - beef stir fry
Wed - chicken breast with garlic seasoning and wedges
Thu - toad in the hole half fat sausages .

I'll plan everything else round dinners

Well done Ken and fire!

ChristmasEvePJs · 05/02/2016 16:13

I'm weirdly happy to drop points Mrs! Grin

Well done Ken.

ChristmasEvePJs · 05/02/2016 16:15

Well done Fire, I'm impressed with your planning. I like a good organised meal plan.

CormoranStrike · 05/02/2016 18:23

Weigh in for me tomorrow - I have been very strict for the secon week in a row (wel as strict as two meals out allow) but I calculated everything.

Hoping for success.

Charliej86 · 06/02/2016 11:35

Half a pound on. I'm devastated!! I've been really good apart from 2 glasses of wine & Chinese last nite. Have walked loads more than usual and done 3 exercise classes. I feel skinnier, I think I look skinner but it's just not showing! I know the exercise will be toning and muscle weighs more than fat but 3lb gain in 2 weeks is disheartening.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 06/02/2016 12:30

4 weeks in now and as well as the diet I've decided to go vegan too. I've tried and failed before but may as well change my eating habits completely if I'm going to spend all this time thinking obsessing about food.

Has anyone watched fat2fit2fat on YouTube? I think it was a silly thing to do but it's really fascinating watching the changes week after week. It is a personal trainer who ate freely with no restrictions for 6 months and put on 70 pounds. He then spent 6months taking the weight off again. He said he did it to have more empathy with people who are overweight as he was judgemental and had never been overweight.

Shoveyergrannyaffabus · 06/02/2016 12:32

It's not fat2fit2fat it's fit2fat2fit, sorry
