Does anyone want to join me?! Smile I need to lose 3 stone hopefully a stone and but in time for March if I can!

I'm already a member of ww online I have the app and just getting used to the new smart points system! Like a refresh think it will be good to do something new again!

Bought a fit bit with xmas money and had it two days love it already! It updates activity points onto the ww app though I won't be eating these.

Hopefully if anyone joins me we can motivate each other

::2 weeks:: that should have said, well done kinkyafro

KinkyAfro · 28/01/2016 21:10

Thanks Miffy, I'm really enjoying SP after saying I wasn't going to do ot

ChristmasEvePJs · 28/01/2016 22:26

Excellent Mrs, everyone needs a friend Grin.
I had a lovely 4sp lunch. 0sp soup, a brown Warburtons thin toasted with low fat cream cheese and baby plum tomatos. So filling and tasty.

poorpaws · 29/01/2016 00:28

Mrs - mine is a Fitbit One. My daughter bought it for me for Christmas so I didn't actually choose it. I think she researched it well and knowing her she would have spent a long time trying to find the right one for me. I didn't even know I wanted one but I couldn't be without it now, it was the perfect gift for me.

So many new members, welcome to all. We are going from strength to strength and I am really enjoying reading everyone's progress - I think Im becoming addicted to hearing you weight loss stories and results. 😉

fireandblood · 29/01/2016 09:21

I'm glad this thread is running, there's nothing doing on the ww boards and the 2015 thread on here didn't last long. I hope to be posting on here for a long time, I need the help and support to keep me on track

ChristmasEvePJs · 29/01/2016 11:30

Just did a huge healthy shop... I waltzed through the checkout feeling rather smug! I must have been so dehydrated before I began WW, I have ran to the loo all week Blush

Charliej86 · 29/01/2016 12:01

I'm a new Fitbit user. Me and a friend got a flex each. We plan on challenging each other. She made me try kettlebells this week, I really enjoyed it even did a second class and I'm going to try get to 1 or 2 next week. However after next week it will be tricky as OH will be back at work and not on hand for baby duties.
Having OH off work has been a little difficult for weight loss, tho we've been eating quite well he likes to treat me to a bottle of wine and if it's in the house I just can't not drink it!!!
He's out for a bit this afternoon and tea tonight is going to be a fakeaway!!! Salt & chilli chicken(I hope it works)
Weigh in tomorrow morning

MrsJorahMormont · 29/01/2016 12:26

Yum, good lunch idea Christmas and nice fakeaway idea Charlie. Do you have a recipe for the salt and chilli chicken?

Thanks for the Fitbit tips. I'm overwhelmed by the choice of them all, not suire what the difference between FitBit One and Flex is.

I ended up having 90g dried rice last night so 9 points for that but it filled me up so it was worth it. Wasn't tempted to munch then in the evening. Today is going to be tricky, I find it all much easier when I just have to eat at home but I grabbed a few packs of sandwich thins and crumpets from the 'big Tesco' near work. Going to have a sandwich thin with ham and if I need another one to keep me going I'll make it a no count day. Also treated myself to one of those ridiculously expensive tiny tubs of pomegranate but it was lovely :o

Charliej86 · 29/01/2016 12:47

The salt & chilli fakeaway. I'm not actually sure on points as the few people that posted it on my ww board had it with different things.

Yes I'm afraid I was one of the failed 2015-WW-ers, feeling much more positive this time around for some reason :D

Fitbit choices: main difference between those two is if you want to wear it on your wrist or belt/bra. I prefer the more discreet option and I'm also not used to wearing a watch, but the downside is that when I feel like checking my steps when I'm out and about I have to delve down my bra!

MrsJorahMormont · 29/01/2016 17:27

Which is the bra-able one? :o

poorpaws · 29/01/2016 20:54

I wear the Fitbit One clipped to the inside of my trouser pocket so it cant be seen at all. I'm terrified of leaving it clipped on and washing the trousers 😳

Charliej86 · 30/01/2016 11:16

Oops 2.5lbs on. Fully expected a gain tho maybe not that much. My leader had a bad week n had same gain which oddly makes me feel a little better lol.
Never mind it's a new week and I'll go back to tracking Monday (I never track sat/sun anyway)

CormoranStrike · 30/01/2016 11:21

Oh wow oh wow oh wow! First weigh I. This week, six pounds off, which means I have already hit my first personal goal, dropping below 13 stone. Very very pleased.

I've treated myself to one of the in fruition bottles as various people at work have them and they look pretty scrumptious!

ChristmasEvePJs · 30/01/2016 11:46

Well done cormoran, amazing!
Charlie I need to point every day or disaster!!!

Miffytastic · 30/01/2016 12:44

Sorry, I've got the 'one' think the zip is bra-able as well but it's a wee bit wider

Just done 45 mins on the cross trainer and now want to eat everything...

CormoranStrike · 30/01/2016 13:26

I have a Fitbit one and wear it clipped inside my bra

dottyaboutstripes · 30/01/2016 15:12

Nice one Cormoran! Charlie I am v up and down recently and have now completely ballsed up this week too, had a row with dh then went to work where I froze in deadly boring conditions for about 6hrs, came home and ATE!! Then ate some more! All my dailies gone, all my weeklies gone too now and it's only just after 3pm. Bollocks.

MrsJorahMormont · 30/01/2016 17:44

Urgh. Weekends are so hard. Every bloody diet seems to work best when you just sit in the house and cook all your own food from scratch. Anyone know what the best Chinese takeaways are? Apparently the new eating out guides don't have any points in and none of our local Chinese have anything wok fried. I thought maybe a chow mein or a chicken with pineapple but have no idea how many points there are in it.

dottyaboutstripes · 30/01/2016 18:09

We had a Chinese takeaway last night, I had vegetable chow mein which came up as 7 on the app - that's how I pointed it because I had maybe half the portion? It was a guess though really. Bloody smart points is truly unforgiving! I would say that I almost always cook from scratch anyway but it's such a struggle despite that. What I need is the world's largest glass of wine but of course I shouldn't because I have no effing points Angry

MrsJorahMormont · 30/01/2016 18:20

Which app do you have dotty? and any chance you could figure out how many points are in a german biscuit?! I would be v grateful! When I am out of points I always have soup, hope you have something in for that!

dottyaboutstripes · 30/01/2016 19:48

I had a beef stew thing with just zero point veggies in it so not too bad!
I just have the WW app - what's a German biscuit? I typed it in and it came up with Howells handmade German biscuit 10 points for 45g

MrsJorahMormont · 30/01/2016 22:23

OMG I'm a prophet, I guesstimated it at ten points :o Thanks for checking it for me.

Things aren't as bad as I feared - I used 18 weekly points today but have 42 so that was ok. I think I have 11 left for tomorrow so I should be okay if I don't go mad. I've also batch cooked a huge pan of Bolognese (5 points per portion) and some 0 point veggie soup. Bought loads of crumpets and sandwich thins and freezing them in 3's so I always have some in the house. I'm not usually this organised and I'm shattered now :o Any other good freezer meals people recommend making? I'm definitely going to give Charlie's salt n chilli chicken a go one weekend!
