No cornthin rosette for me, I fear. I went wild in Holland and Barrat earlier and bought some of those licorice sticks (the ones with pandas on the front) and I've eaten two (99 cals each). This was after my bender in Pret where I ate:

the 'skinny' (ie half) an Artisan baguette (the one with the parma ham, tomatoes, and I think goats cheese? it was gorgeous)

a bowl of red grapes

a lemon cheesecake pot

So then I had my licorice sticks. Actually thats not too bad is it? maybe the cheesecake, but otherwise not too bad.

I am mere days away from period though so can console myself by putting it down to pre-period biffing. DP is home today, so no idea what's for dinner. I'm imagine his fave spaghetti/haloumi/dried mint/tomato puree dish.

I've had a litre of water today, and two cups of tea. Should drink more. And not eat the delicious 'nature valley' crunchy bars in my bag from H&B. I also bought some beta carotin vits for healthy skin and nails. I do take a multivit too but I dont think it includes beta carotin

Breakfast today: Bowl of chopped banana, apple & orange

Lunch: Baked potato with beans, cheese & broccoli

Dinner: Not sure yet, have a spin cycle class at 7pm so whatever dinner is will be be after 8pm - maybe an omelette?

I'm trying too up my water intake too and find it easier if I alternate water with diluted juice...works for me!

Well done everyone - am hugely jealous of the half baguette, am trying to do without bread at min!

BudaisintheZONE · 01/06/2010 17:49

Hi all.

Breakfast was slice rye bread with peanut butter.
Snack was a yoghurt and a kiwifruit
Lunch was leek and potato soup, quiche and salad (set menu) - resisted the desserts others were having
Snack i afternoon was 2 slices of turkey, few flaxseed tortilla chips with hummus and a bite of the brownie that DS had left
No dinner yet. Not sure what to have.

Babyshower lovely and baby is gorgeous!

It's independence day here so picnic in the bush meant that I ate a small bit of rubbish. But mainlined on homemeade salty popcorn. How does that feature? Good or bad cals? I'm sure I burn more calories eating it than it gives me.

Oh and Coke - he's here! Merlin. He's asleep at my feet. The cat is most curious and the other dog keeps knocking him over he's so tiny.

Buda I am impressed by your growing willpower, you get my zonetastic nomination for the cornthin today.

BudaisintheZONE · 01/06/2010 18:29

Oh bless to Merlin. Cute name.

Thanks for nomination for cornthin!

Have just had two mugs of soup for dinner and about to have a green tea.

cocolepew · 01/06/2010 18:29

I was typing Threading in Newtownards and was telling DH you had got your pup, at the same time, and typed in Dogging in... instead

I am making ganache

pointydog · 01/06/2010 20:06

not to be confused with ganesh

BariatricObama · 01/06/2010 20:07

you could make a ganache ganesh

pointydog · 01/06/2010 20:16

might be a bit sloppy but I appreciate the thought

dinkystinky · 01/06/2010 20:19

Right Buda, Cornthin Rosette heading in your direction - you are Zonetastic today.

Undertone · 01/06/2010 20:43

3 weetabix
250ml skimmed milk
170g lean chicken
110g lean beef
bag o' salad
2 tomatoes
150g low fat cottage cheese
loads of balsamic vinegar
2 squares 85% dark choc (more antioxidats than green tea, apparently)

haven't done a exercise for over a week.

I biffed majorly at my parents' house at the weekend. Mum tells me how well I'm doing and in the same breath offers me a pile of food, and looks upset if I refuse it.

Did I metion I was a fat cild? Bullying, self-harm, the works.

Feel like poo now.

TMAM - we nEEEED potos! SO, SO

Undertone · 01/06/2010 20:47

*child

BudaisintheZONE · 01/06/2010 21:29

Thanks dinky!!! Have resisted snacking tonight too! Hungry now tho but not giving in.

Am in bed with big glass of water and book. I will not eat anything till morning.

Undertone - my dad used to fill the fridge with tHings I loved and then tell me off for eating them!! My mum tells me that I could be so attractive if I lost weight and then offers me chocolate!

You sound like you are doing really well with your eating.

CheeeseOnToast · 01/06/2010 21:38

I made this carrot and cumin soup tonight and I can thoroughly recommend it! Delicious. I had four table water biscuits with it, each with a smear of butter.

tiny bowl of fruit n fibre cos I was hungry and now drinking a cup of tea, and that's my lot tonight. DP has annoyed me and gone out at the last minute with no notice AND he brought home the next box set of Sopranos, so I thought we'd be spending the night in together watching that. But no, he wants a beer with his mate

Wooooaaaahhhh PMT time!! Just seen it. He's been with me all weekend. Oops.

CheeeseOnToast · 01/06/2010 21:39

Wow undertone you weigh everything! That's dedication! Did you have the meat grilled? Sounds good!

Undertone · 01/06/2010 22:03

Just get the 'taste the class snobbery' stuff ready-cooked from sainsbo's to save faff and temptation - says grilled on the pack. I only know the exact weight because I eat the whole packet/tub and it says the weight on the side with the nutrition info!

Grrr so cross about that lunatic Tesla's thread in relationships. hate trolls!!!

Aitch · 01/06/2010 22:04

snack: handful of mixed nuts
lunch: 2 small boiled potatoes + 1.5 carot + 2 slices of ham + 2 peaches + piece of cheese (no bread)
