I quite like zest - is a mixture of health articles, exercise tips/programmes and some sports fashion and beauty/skincare articles. Also quite like Women's fitness (which I get for free from Fitness First when they have them in) as good work outs in there. Have to admit I dont read many other women's mags though so cant really compare against them - prob worth having a flick through a this months and next months Jack to see if you like it.

Fairhaired - well done for zoning well yesterday and Ducky, well done for zoning well today too. DH bought some rhubarb cake at the farmers market today which I had 4 spoons of as am saving my biffing for fizz, goats cheese, walnut bread and strawberries this evening. Yum.

TMAM - a kilo lost is still a kilo - and 2 lbs is still a great loss, despite illness. Hope you get better soon. When's the run?

JackBauerDeservedAHappyEnding · 13/06/2010 18:21

the flaming cheek!

just had mega bollocknayse with lots of hidden veg and everything. very nice.
No soup made, cba today, have been reading back through threads and you can so see when my PMT starts, am considering going to docs and seeing if anythign can help, I was in tears most of yesterday evening for no real reason

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/06/2010 18:49

Jackster, I am the same I divorce dh every month, round about the 24th.

What has helped me is exercise, not eating crap/alcohol the week before and taking some combined vits - magnesium/calcium and B6. It's really helped!

Thanks Dinks, I have two weeks to go - eek but really need to do some short fast runs this week.

Cyb, name change to Ladycybil, that'll sort her.

JackBauerDeservedAHappyEnding · 13/06/2010 19:43

NO alcohol?

S'not worth it

JackBauerDeservedAHappyEnding · 13/06/2010 19:43

(I like Jackster)

dinkystinky · 13/06/2010 19:44

Cyb - maybe you could name change to DuchessCybil or EmpressCybil - let her know her place

Mega bolognaise sounds lovely Jack. I agree with TMAM - exercise and diet can really help control PMT to an extent but its also worth seeing if your GP can prescribe anything else to help control those raging hormones. Am generally quite even keeled temperwise but the few times I tend to flip out spectacularly are when in early pregnancy due to hormone surges- in fact DH knew I was pregnant with DS2 before I did as I was being such a nutjob.

NomDePlume · 13/06/2010 19:46

I hardly drink anymore. I can't hold it now and I'm waaaaaaaaaaaay too much of a control freak to get clattered so I rarely bother these days and if I do it's a couple of vodka and slimline tonics. I now drink probably about once a month. God, I sound dull

NomDePlume · 13/06/2010 19:47

i used to take starflower oil supplements for raging PMT. I don't get it anymore for some reason.

cybbo · 13/06/2010 19:54

mmmm

EmpressCybil...that does have a certain cache to it

YoginiPinkBikini · 13/06/2010 20:07

Hope everyone's happy and had a good weekend

dinkystinky · 13/06/2010 20:12

I have fizz (still drinking the oversupply from DH's purchasing for DS1's birthday in April) and cheese and yummy bread coming, small DC are in bed and not currently wailing (DS2 saves that for 20 minutes after I go to sleep) so all appears to be right with the world right now Yogini. All good with you?

duckyfuzz · 13/06/2010 20:16

highjedipriestesscyb shoudl tell her

IO have always liked Marchioness as a title though.

What's up Yogi?

DukesOfTripHazard · 13/06/2010 21:19

Did my first Shred today. Bored already . Was good though and challenging particularly as both dd's 'joined in'. Found self hissing things like. 'Stay there and you will get clonked on the head with this weight...'

PMT. Well now. He/she/it and I are Old Friends. I ran out of Agnus Castus recently. Didn't have it for two months and was batshit loco for days (thanks Chibi). Punched my self in jaw a fair few times medusa like bilious cow. Anyhoo. Got some Agnus again. Use the tincture twice a day from ovulation. Also EP oil and B vits. But Aggie C is good to me.

Know you're PMT-ing when your DH gets described as a cnut Jack.

JackBauerDeservedAHappyEnding · 13/06/2010 21:23

S'expensive though, Rather get a free scrip (I love living in Wales)

Yes, poor bloke does get cunted rather regularly. That soudns so wrong.

Shred is boring, and she is soooo annoying, but it does work, although missed friday and have missed today, I really cannot do those jacks without needing a tena lady ffs. I am falling apaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart!
DD1 likes ot do it too, they call it my 'jumping up and down dvd' She is much better than me. cow.

JackBauerDeservedAHappyEnding · 13/06/2010 23:11

Om nom nom.

Dh is only just back after getting stuck at work because someone had to be towed in by coastguard so am v pissed. He is most amused.

YoginiPinkBikini · 13/06/2010 23:58

Have had too many sherbets. your words are all blurry. They will be ok in in the morning I'm sure

BudaisintheZONE · 14/06/2010 08:00

Morning all.

Should I bow to the HighOverlord I wonder?

Just had a huge thunder and lightning and hailstones storm. Which is a bugger as I already had washing out on the line and had to run out and get it in. And my plans to walk dog early were buggered up too.

Poor cleaner rang to say she won't be in as her dad is dying and she is travelling to Romania today. He has been dying for 2 years and it sounds horrible but I really hope the poor man does actually die this time. He is 35 kilos apparently. Stopped eating and drinking last week. Stomach cancer.

Anyway. Weighed and am same weight as Friday - 99.6 kg which is 15 stone 9.

DH and DS came back from football yesterday with a friend of DS which I could really have done without as I was in such a mood. But DH asked to start the day again and gave me a hug and admitted he doesn't help the situation when I am annoyed about something. Had greek salad for lunch but did have half a toasted sandwich with it.

Friend came over to collect DS's friend and we had a few drinks in the garden which was nice. Then BBQ for dinner. I had mostly salad with some lamb ribs and a sausage. Some feta dip. And a mini magnum later.

Anyway - am back in zone. Found my pilates DVD so may give that a go later.

Jack - you are doing really well. Extra nice to have photograhic evidence! Esp when camera adds 10 pounds.

Bad PMT here too. Was wondering about vit b. May try. Need to do something as rage at DS too much and hate myself afterwards. He already prefers DH. Which is normal I know but I don't want him to grow up hating me.

HighOverlordCybil · 14/06/2010 08:02

YES YOU MUST BOW

BudaisintheZONE · 14/06/2010 08:34

Consider your self bowed at!

Actually I have noticed a 'LittleBudaonLine' around recently. I have been Buda or variations of for yyeeears. I don't like there being another. Mean of me?

DastardlyandSmugly · 14/06/2010 10:41

Hi all. Been at a wedding at a campsite this weekend so didn't manage to be either good or careful. Have drunk shedloads and eaten the most delicious curry I've ever had in my life courtesy of new SIL's father.

Back on it this week. I have 8 weeks to go until my holiday.
