Hmmm. pissed and v yampy last night. Showing just about everybody my magic knickers (never good, though they were cyle short length so not too indecent). Brill party though. Need more sleep. And no food for a few hours. Am getting too old.

cornsilkcottagecheese · 06/06/2010 09:00

coco - fruit is high in carbs? How can that be?

Aitch · 06/06/2010 09:14

oh my christ, i have put on three lbs. bloody weekends away. i am going hardcore as of tomoz.

BudaisintheZONE · 06/06/2010 09:39

Morning all. Went to great party last night.

Lined stomach before hand with nachos, there was a lovely buffet at party but I only managed some bread and cheese and pate. Had about 5 or 6 classes of champagne and then 2 white wine sodas. Then lost my drink as I put it down to dance and then the bar ran out about 11.30. Wasn't impressed at the time but am grateful now! Got home around 1 and had 2 slices of cold pizza and an Oreo dip thing. All in all I think not too bad.

And then lovely, lovely DS got up with the dog this morning at 6.15 and I stay in bed till 9.15!

Planning a cooked brekky. I hear DH up so he will do.

coco - saw puppy thread. Sorry you got a mauling but I suppose people are only concerned really. I would say that puppy will be better off with you than in current situation.

Low-carb fruit worriers - yes fruit is high in carbs! That's why you are not allowed it on Atkins. Berries are lowest in carb though. Bananas and I think grapes are high.

Aitch - I seem to do that every weekend! It comes off quickly though. Lots of water and green tea to flush out the crap and zone for the week.

cocolepew · 06/06/2010 10:26

I've been eating about 4 bananas a day! Bugger buggery bug.

cocolepew · 06/06/2010 10:27

With bread! Arggghhhh

JackBauer · 06/06/2010 11:29

wow coco, that's some pasting on that thread, I did see it last night. Up til 2, again, although much fun and hilarity, had cheese and crackers as snack, more cheese and pickle than crackers thoughb, so good

Aitch, Scales say dead on 16 this morning. Money running out as well, so going hardcore as of now. Have some tommy soup left and then lots of fruit and veg I will start scoffing. Chicken in slow cooker as well so that's there for pickings.

I bought some green tea the other day, does it work? Do I have it for snacks or what? (I don't do hot drinks a[art from coffee first thing and hot choc at night sometimes, I don't get the 'hot drink through the day' thing.

Fruit and veg are carby, but good carby, not processed, however DUkan diet bans them and so does start of atkins, so for proper lo carb you need to cut them out.
Dukan is pure protein one day and then protein and veg/fruit the next I think, or soemthing like that.
In fact thinking about it I have had bacon and eggs for brek so could have a pure protein day to kickstart...

BudaisintheZONE · 06/06/2010 13:33

Four bananas a day!!! Bananas are also very 'binding'! And bread is def not low carb!

I have a banana every couple of days. I also have grapes. It depends on what plan you are following. I have sort of made up my own.

Not sure if the green tea works Jack. I do remember years ago in Vietnam a lady I knew saying she had lost about 5 lbs and the only thing she had done was replace her normal tea at night with green tea.

I drink tea throughout the day so have just replaced 2 or 3 of those with green tea. I like it and find it refreshing so it is not a hardship.

A couple of people said last night that I was looking well and they could see a difference. Have 3 weeks before school finishes and we go back to Dublin for 10 days. Want to lose another half stone by then so concerted effort of eating right and exercising more from tomorrow.

Undertone · 06/06/2010 15:31

I SO should have called him Butch

Maybe I'll dump Guy (because I think you're right - he may be a bit gay and he's fighting it, inside. I mean - he wanted to go and see Sister Act, fgs) and have a whirlwind fling with Butch. Butch is a bit of a bastard, but when he's on-charm he can be devastating. he's a tae kwon do instructor, and drives a TVR...

cornsilkcottagecheese · 06/06/2010 15:40

I have 2 or 3 bananas a day. They're fast food and I am very lazy.

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/06/2010 16:18

That's a lot of bananas you C people. I have just had half an avocado from our own tree. Yum. Totally calorific but I have run 18 bloody kilometres in the pouring rain.

Butch definitely doesn't do Tae Kwon Do. He Does Weights. And he wears cropped trousers.

Uh oh here comes humungous storm.

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/06/2010 16:19

And there goes the power. Not that it's predictable at all.

cornsilkcottagecheese · 06/06/2010 16:20

18 kilometres.

pointydog · 06/06/2010 16:21

bananas are binding? Wjat are we talkign about here?

Went shopping yesterday. SUper duper FC jeans, fantastic fit but too bloody long and that was with heels.

cornsilkcottagecheese · 06/06/2010 16:23

They bind all the banana folk together in banana love.

pointydog · 06/06/2010 16:28

I see.

BFF = Banana Folk Forever

JackBauer · 06/06/2010 16:49

tmam, you do do this on prupose don't you? Much talk of avocado's from your own tree and running ridiculous distances, and then throw in a storm and a power cut so we won't totally hate you

Banana bread was my downfall yesterday, I didn;t bother taking a big salad, took lots of fruit and a loaf of my banana bread, and then couldn't sotp eating it.

BudaisintheZONE · 06/06/2010 16:49

Too many bananas can cause constipation. Old fashioned phrase is that they are binding!

Themasterandmargaritas · 06/06/2010 16:56

wouldn't want to give you all the impression I am living in some kind of Utopia or anything.

Dial-a-cuzza tonight as dh is home and desperate. Personally I'm not so keen. What is low in biffage? Chikken tikka?

pointydog · 06/06/2010 16:57

something in a tomato based sauce I'd'a thought

dinkystinky · 06/06/2010 17:00

Tandoori is zoney. Anything tomato based or dry basically.

JackBauer · 06/06/2010 17:02

Lol at you sucking up on FB to make me not hate you. It's NO GOOD!
