DukesOfTripHazard · 15/05/2010 07:15

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 15/05/2010 07:16

So true Mama. Baby Porridge shouting 2-3 and the 4 and 5. Lord love him. Sleeping through is a distant aspiration. What's Baby G like?

MamaG · 15/05/2010 07:16

MamaG · 15/05/2010 07:18

so I caved and got in spare bed with him
he wriggles, grabs me all night and i don't sleep well as i keep thinking he's giong to wake up and stealthily sneak around the room breaking things

then he wakes up at 5.30am shouing "hello" in thi sreally musical tone AT THE TOP OF HIS VOICE

He - is high
Llll - is low
looo - back up high

like a penny whistle of someihng

OVER AND OVER AND OVER

DukesOfTripHazard · 15/05/2010 07:25

I have just worked out the musical hello and sang it to myself. It has a 'here's Chucky' feel

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 15/05/2010 07:27

Oh God - sounds heinous. But am larfing at the "hellllloooo".

MamaG · 15/05/2010 07:35

BudaisintheZONE · 15/05/2010 08:24

Morning all on this momentous day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome Betty and Cornsilk and Foghorn. New blood. Nice......

Had a lovely night last night (well till the end - more later). Met at nice bar by the Basilica here in Budapest and sat outside drinking champagne and chatting. Moved on to restaurant and friends had been there earlier to deliver my HUGE present which was sitting on table as we arrived. It was a lovely lantern. Food was nice - had smoked swordfish with goats cheese mousse and salad to start and then parmesan risotto for main. Friends had organised dessert/birthday cake embarassing scenario with huge sparkler and waiters singing. Tiramisu which is not my fave but was lovely. Lots of wine of course.

Ended up with some friends of friend tagging along - long story - and at end of night had bill issues. One person did the "I only had a main and 2 beers so will only pay X". I HATE that. Esp if said person is NOT short of money. And said person conveniently forgets that she also had 3 beers in bar earlier that someone else paid for! Left a bad taste as it was really awkward. And although I had never met this person before I had heard a lot about her from another friend and wanted to meet her. She is also Irish and heads up the Hungarian InStyle magazine which is really interesting obv. Anyway - she is a beeatch! So far up her own arse she can't see out.

Not going out for dinner tonight now as forgot when arranging that dog was having op yesterday so shouldn't really leave her. I think we will order in a curry instead. Although Jamie's lasagna sounds fab. What book is it from?

Guess what DH got me for my birthday??????

A blood pressure monitor. Yes. A blood pressure monitor. He's a funny boy.

He also got me a heart rate monitor - was happy with that.

Poor dog feeling very sorry for herself!

MamaG · 15/05/2010 08:27

Buda sounds lovely apart from tight arse

i HATE that, its so embarrassing for everybody

is it b'day today? Happy birthday if so

at your presents fromdh though!!

MamaG · 15/05/2010 08:28

I really need to add some moer words and possibly a comma or two to that first sentence

Buda, your night out sounds lovely, apart from the tight arse woman

BudaisintheZONE · 15/05/2010 08:30

I know MamaG!!! He is crap at presents. But I am pleased with the heart rate one - I will know if I am in the weight loss zone when exercising etc.

TotalChaos · 15/05/2010 08:42

Buda - OMG at the BP monitor. why not throw in some antisepctic cream and box of plasters to complete the health theme. the heart monitor is better, coz it's something I've been toying with buying.

meal out sounds lush - shame about stingy bill woman.

hello new people, I am also v. new.

cyb · 15/05/2010 08:44

happy Birthday Buda...21 again

cyb · 15/05/2010 08:47

cyb · 15/05/2010 08:48
