Wow. Lots to catch up on. Just for a change.
Right. Confessions out of way first I think. Due to flooded birthday weekend depression there was slight biffing. One choc hob nob, one digestive, 1 crisp (that is 1 crisp not 1 packet!), 1 roast potato, 1 piece of crackling, 1 x mini magnum). Not too bad in scheme of things really. Had planned ice cream for Saturday and not had it so had it last night. Rest of day's eating was in zone.
Back in zone today - obviously! Have soup ready for later. Just had porridge for b'fast. Some roast pork left from last night so planning stirfry for dinner.
DH is now away until late Thursday so can be totally selfish with dinners!
Basement which was mopped up yesterday flooded again overnight. Sigh. Cleaner can't get here as trains not working due to weather. Windy and raining for last 36 hours non-stop.
Bobbie - cardi wasn't me. I didn't like it either!
Su - I had a jacket similar to that in purple corduroy. Loved it. My mother hated it which may have been why i liked it so much. I was 17 so it would have been 1981/82.
Bags - liked that Kew bag a lot. Or the Mango one. Second ASOS one was a bit insipid.
Liked all the wedges linked to. Love wedges generally.
Right. Need to put washing on and sort kitchen and sort basement. And do floors and beds etc. Sigh. Planned an Ikea trip today.
