Have been v zone like today - up at 4 with DS2 (teething like a trooper), 2 WW yogs for breakfast, lots of tea and water, lunch at our neighbours (who we're doing joint building work with later this year to get round crazy planning restrictions) - some roast lamb, one roast pot, lots of asparagus and some butternut squash (DS2 kindly obliged by eating the rest of my peas, the cauliflower cheese, and the rest of the potatoes - had to fight him for the blardy asparagus) and tiny bowl of apple crumble with one tiny scoop of icecream. And a couple of small glasses of red wine. Steadfastly refused the choc banana muffins DH baked to take over. Not sure what dinner will be - either soup or a stirfry I guess.

Fairhaired - I hate cameras. The angle and the lighting is everything. Bet you looked lovely in real life at your ball.

Been productive today - went for a ONE HOUR FIFTEEN MINUTE run with significant amounts of walking, averaging 145 heart beats per minute - which is a little high to be in the fat-burning zone (120-140), but I must have burned a good 600 calories. Sainsbury's shop for the week has only just been delivered as well, so no chance to sit and biff as a 'reward'.

Also made a shirt dress kind of like the Lauren dress from Hobbs, but with a fuller skirt and a wrap-front fastening in dark brown linen. The linen was £4 a metre from Brixton.

Undertone 1 - Overpriced Hobbs: 0.

I also bought some lovely swooshy dark beige fabric with white polka-dots. Not sure what to make of it. A little tea dress would be best, but I'm a good six months away at least from wanting to get my arms out in public...

Am in awe at your dress making abilities. One of my mates from uni was an absolute whizz with a sewing machine and ended up making another mates wedding dress. Was amazing!
