You have reminded me that there is ice cream in the freezer. Have just shared the last of DD1's choc with her and we have discovered that Daddy Has Been Helping Himself. He is going to be in a lot of trub.

Ooh Mr Dukes is a biffer in trouble.

Am sat here drinking cava (still got 5 fricking bottles left over from DS1's birthday party several weeks back). My booze free week is going well I feel.

The mice killers came this morning. For men who kill tiny vermin they were very taller - DH is 6 2 and they made him look tiny by comparison. Apparently we have a minor infestation in our kitchen. If that doesnt get me in the zone I dont know what will.

Nope, poison down for the mice - apparently it smells of bananas which is catnip to the verminski allegedly. The enormo-exterminators will be back in 3 weeks to put more poison down for them in 3 weeks then back 2 weeks later to try and block all holes - heaven help them. They'll be here all week.

LOLOLOL I am in hysterics here, laughing at both NorthernLurker's thread about her DD3 with runny poo in the woods, and then at Dinky's little song.... hahahah!!!!!

Ok I will 'fess up, I am half way thru a bottle of red that is deeelish and DP has been delayed for dinner so I am imbibing to my heart's content. I have lamb curry slowly cooking on the hob and life seems good at this moment in time.

Sounds like you're having quite a nice Saturday evening Cheese. Not familiar with Postal Service - will check them out. Lamb curry sounds lovely. We've had chicken fajitas (so much chilli in there even I could taste them). All the earlier talk of icecream has made me think about having a scoop of ice cream for dessert.

Food today was:

Half a bagel with Philly and 2 poached eggs. (Philly and eggs... bad combo)

Turkey salad of virtue.

Yog.

Lentil burger, cabbage and broc (dry, dry, dry, lots left over, will have to find some way to spruce up)

Bit of High School Musical Easter Egg
Handful of premium qualidee mixed nuts.

Tomorrow is homework/times tables 'n' ting then cardy and t-shirt shopping!!!

Postal Service has the vocalist from Death Cab for Cutie. Good stuff.

However, Phil Collins is now on... so wouldn't trust my musical judgement that much. However Postal Service are def worth a listen.
