Welcome back Blondes your wk sounds good Thanks you for excited dance! I really do want to stay sensible and eat properly if i ever go mad and start "eating for two" give me the odd slap you said before your friend followed ww when pg is that right? I dont want to worry bout loosing weight but just not gaining too much iykwim...

GettinTrimmer · 06/06/2010 00:20

Blondes - well done on sts. If you don't mind can I e-mail you about the babysitting from hell experience I've just had? Will be regular, need some supernanny style advice Don't want to talk about someone else's kids on here.

PBM - definitely healthy eating the way to go, I remember being so sick with both of mine I actually lost weight, I think they then gobbled up all the food I was eating as I ended up weighing less than before I was pregnant. Different story when I was bf as ate far too many calories to make up the extra 500!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/06/2010 01:13

Course you email me , you daft thing. You don't have to ask

pbm yes she did lose weight when preg. Think I write about her in jan in 1st thread

GettinTrimmer · 06/06/2010 18:14

Evening all

End of half term, major moan coming on here, handed dh homework project (he's only 7 as well) to do with ds and it hasn't been started yet. Oh...they've started talking about hot dogs, kebabs, sausages (homework is to plan a barbecue Maybe it just might get done after all.

laughalot I've done the same, lost, sts, gained. Good luck for next week!

blondes hope dh has better week

bebejones · 06/06/2010 19:23

Laughalot - well done!

Blondes - hope DH has a better day 2moro & a better week this week!

PBM - healthy eating the way to go! I was so sick with DD that I lost 1.5st in the first 20weeks...made up for it in the last 20 though when I figured that I only didn't feel sick as long as I was eating!!

Still feeling rubbish here, throat still red raw & swollen so will have to give GP a call 2moro. Had a half a scone (with cream & jam)earlier & it was divine but is probably the most solid thing I've eaten all week! Plus my hayfever has started with a vengance this weekend so am stuffed full of anti histamines & then can't sleep at night. Need to get some of the ones I had when PG that actually make you sleepy!

Best go have some more soup & then rhubarb for afters!

Groan that half term is over...

I have got builders starting our kitchen/dining room in the morning and we are still trying to get organised! DH came in from Washington this morning ( Sunday morning) so it has been a bit rushed, but we have moved the fridge freezer out now, just the dishwasher to go. We have set up camp in the playroom so am not surehow the catering is going to go. He is 'working from home' tomorrow which is great so he can see the builders start.

I weighed in on Sunday morning cos not sure how it will be on Monday, with back to school/ work AND builders. It's usually a rush anyway! I've sts. Nonsurprise after our substantial alcoholic blow out last weekend and DS birthday midweek. In a way it's good to be able to do those things but manage it so that you sts.

Groan it's past midnight just a bit more then off to bed!

bebejones · 07/06/2010 07:14

Am in disbelief this morning & jumped on and off the scales about 10 times! I have lost 4lbs! Which is fantastic in itself but also means I have now lost exactly 4 stone since we started!

Completely down to hardly eating solids all week & am sure I will put on as soon as I start munching on 'proper' food again! Ringing GPs as soon as they open as throat is still so sore!

Morning all

I am just rattling around, trying to get motivated to clear up this complete and utter tip which is called my house Still need to kick myself up the bum and take Blondes's professional advice about kids and mess.

Have decided also to leave it until after summer hols to look for a job.

On an up note, a mum in school I bumped into in ASDA said I have lost 'loads of weight' and my mum said the weight makes me look younger and not frumpy Mums have a way with them don't they?!

piste well done on sts. Good luck with the catering.

bebe Brilliant, you are in spitting distance of getting to goal!!

PBM How are you?? Hope you are putting your feet up when you can.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/06/2010 14:38

TRIMMER dont talk about schools, eldest has her school zoo trip today, 1st day back after weeks half term and half the children came in uniform tho meant to be in own clothes and welcome about advice

BEBE hope throat is less sore, try banana and honey mashed up as a treat, and yummy and soothing and OMD at 4lbs loss and 4 stone over all - well done!!!!!

you are 8lbs from goal!!!!!

PISTE good luck with builders, works kitchen is almost finished, and this is 4th week, but least have an aga now and dishwasher plumbed in so not all bad

who else weighs in today? thought monday was lots of yous weigh in?

ive been good with a jacket and salad and then strawberrys, playing tennis with mr blondes senior (daddy blondes) tonight and then maybe salmon for tea, am really going to try hard this week and lose a 1 lb

Murtette · 07/06/2010 18:15

Hi

Still haven't got batteries for the scales but that's a good thing as I've been BAD BAD BAD all weekend and today with in-laws staying and then out for afternoon tea with some girlfriends today. I'll start being good again tomorrow.

PBM - congrats!!! Brilliant news. Do you tend to get morning sickness? I lost 7lbs in my first trimester as I just couldn't keep any food down. I more than made up for it in the second two trimesters though and ended up 4st heavier than when I got pregnant - oops! That's one of the reasons I want to lose weight now as otherwise I'll be the size of several whales if I get pregnant again.

Bebe - have you just lost 8lbs in a fortnight? Congrats on the 4st mark. That's incredible. How is your DN?

Piste - you will be v slinky if you get down to that weight. That's good news about your DD's friend. You must be really proud of your DD through all of this.

DD beginning to melt down so I'd better go and do bathtime.

bebejones · 08/06/2010 10:08

Brace yourselves - I am wearing leggings!!! First time I've felt brave enough in a very long time! Wore them under a dress on Sunday & got a v long T-shirt on with them today, but not sure I'd be brave enough to wear them out like this yet! But still feeling super slinky!

To add to the sore throat I now have tooth ache too! Hoping it goes off as don't want to go to dentist. GP thinks my sore throat is down to my hayfever & coughing has recommended gargling with soluble asprin...YUK! Hoping that the rain eases the hayfever & my poor throat will get a break!

Murtette - I'm sure you are allowed a weekend off! It will be fine! Think I lost 6lbs in a fortnight can't remember!! Only because I have been feeling poorly though!

Blondes - hope you had fun playing tennis!

Trimmer - just 8lbs to go til I'm a healthy bebe!! My mum is another one with the backhanded compliments comments!

2 months til DD's 2nd Birthday, where does the time go? Must get my backside into gear & start organising where we are actually having her party! Quite excited!

Afternoon ladies

PBM How are you and come and say hello. This thread seems to be quieter, so we need you!!

Hope you are looking after yourself!

blondes yes, schools.... ds is about to go into year 4, last year he had extra transition time going into year 3 and made a book about it with the emotional support lady. He doesn't cope with change very well. This year I've heard nothing, he was fine, but the week before half term came out crying a couple of times (left-handed, a year behind with handwriting and has low self esteem, sometimes gets to him). I am trying to make an appointment to see his teacher though.

Hope you enjoyed tennis.

bebe leggins!! Well done you. I am ok on my legs for them, but my tummy is still very lardy, so I'm avoiding. KWYM about time flying, their 2nd birthdays seem to come round so quickly, but ds is soon having his 8th.

murtette I always relax on saturdays and eat 2 bags of crisps or whatever, sundays are a little better. Weekends are too tempting sometimes!

If have just got back from the gym, did aerobics - I had a shower and felt much less self-conscious. Hopefully burnt off some calories as well.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/06/2010 13:11

Murtette don't worry about the scales

bebe. Wow leggings. Brave woman

trimmer. Poor ds hope yr 4 is better for him and yes tennis was good

had salad and jacket yesterday and ham salad today so I had better lose Friday

pbm you can still do ww when pregnant so just eat healthily

mels How is go lower going?

'waves to everyone else'

RatherBeOnThePiste · 08/06/2010 16:38

Afternoon all!
Birthdays do come round quickly.. DS has just turned 11 and I don't know where that has gone either!!!

Leggings are impressive - go out and be proud SlinkyJones!!

Builder's dust everywhere here but the space looks amazing. We are camping out and the children are enjoying the novelty factor. DH is away ( of course ) so he is oblivious!

I find ithard when builders want decisions it makes me feel vague.... I had to go and look at flooring today and there is so much choice it made my head spin.

GT.. Go and speak to your teacher, if change is stressful, make them be onestep ahead..

Poohbearsmom · 08/06/2010 21:36

Poohbearsmom · 09/06/2010 08:17

Omg i just gained half a stone looking at that cake!!!
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Piste.......
Happy birthday to you
have a good one xxx

bebejones · 09/06/2010 08:22

Happy Birthday Piste!!!

PBM - The Nairn's ginger oatcakes helped me a bit with my morning sickness, I used to have one first thing, before I even got up! (This was when I could finally stomach food at about 20weeks!) They are slow release energy & lowish cal & the ginger will help with the nausea! I still love them now!

Think my DD may have hayfever. She's been snotty & not herself for a while now, I thought it was a lingering cold but now not so sure. I know it's not common for such a young child but my hayfever is really bad at the moment so not out of the question. Have given her some piriton so will see if it makes any difference

Hope everyone has a good day, I've got so much to do!!! TTFN
