Thanks GT...DD's friend is getting lots of help from a consultant and also from the school. She still can't eat in public and was going away with DD to eat lunch with the school nurse, but before HT they just had progressed to eating on the field but separately from the others. A big step for her and massive progress, because although it wasn't really public, it was IYSWIM? DD said her friend shook the first couple of times, even though their other mates had been warned to stay clear until she and DD finished and came over to them. So sad, but she has stayed in school and hasn't had to withdraw, although I think she came very close to having to leave for a while. It will be ongoing, but you are kind to think of her!
Yes DD is a swimmer, and an all round sporty girl. She loves riding, running, tennis, netball and swims 4 times a week. She is very fit, unlike me but I was just like her when I was 13.
When we stayed with friends this weekend actually I had to text them to ask them not to talk about my weight loss with DD there, because we just never talk about diets, and she hasn't noticed anyway! So they just said I looked amazingly well when DD was there!
I am 5 foot 8, so that is fairly tall, and I have never had a top heavy problem. My mates in the old days used to call my bras 'eye patches' The other day I felt a bit uncomfortable and when I got home from work realised I had DD's bra on! It was a 32A, the 32 bit was snug but not too bad, the A was rather too small as I'm a C!
My weight has always been on my a**e and my thighs. I have broad shoulders so I shall never be a real slinky malinky
Gt .... lets vow not to be Wedding Weebles! We owe it to ourselves and our DDs!!
