Nice new home for us now that March is over!

Hope you are feeling better later Bebe, nothing worse than a hangover you can't nurse. I won't suggest hair of the dog!....

Saw on the news we came bottom in the Eurovision. I must say, I am not surprised, good effort but the song was dull IMO.

I was very piggy yesterday, ate 2 Belgian buns (..but nobody else wanted one!) and a chinese takeaway - mushroom curry, rice and chips, then a little of the leftovers when coming back from the cinema.

Salads today and more exercise ....

JODIEwantsanewname · 30/05/2010 12:07

Hi there girlies! Sorry been AWOL recently but life has been mad, I'm on my phone DH is driving us to Birmingham for some retail therepy, so apologies for not catching up with everyone! But remember, even though I'm rubbish at name checking I DO love you all MWAH!!

I'm back on track now and lost 1lb this week! But holidays next week so hopefully I can stay on track.

We have bought a caravan! I'm so excited, I enjoyed my tenting days, but having a caravan means we can extend our holiday period from may-sept to march-nov! And it won't matter if it rains! Whoppee!

Gettin & Jodie - well done on your losses.

Piste - so far, I have lost 9lbs and still have 33 more to lose so I'll be needing this thread as a weight loss thread for a good while yet. I hope all of you slinkly ladies will keep it going as a maintenance thread and not abandon me! Now that I'm weaning, my weight loss should speed up...well, it will do if I manage to resist creme brulee and other desserts when I'm out and about.

PBM - I know how you feel!

Bebe - I hope you're surviving!

bebejones · 30/05/2010 18:33

Just checking in......feel rough!
Have managed to eat half a croissant & half a fish finger sandwich (Shared both with DD) I am never getting drunk ever ever ever again!!

Just dashing in to say the batteries on my scales have gone so I can't weigh in until I get some more. Its one of those rectangular batteries so I don't just have them lying around. I'll weigh in at WW on Weds so will update you then.

Enjoy your bank holiday

laughalot · 31/05/2010 13:34

Major hangover alert i cant even type , lost a 1 lb this week but may have put it back on in already with the amount of drink iv consumed yuk yuk vomit !

GettinTrimmer · 31/05/2010 14:14

Afternoon all

Just got back from the zoo, it looks like it's going to rain so just in time. We had a picnic and I limited myself to ryvitas, a bit of cheddar and fruit

bebe well done on your 2lb.

saphrie welcome! Foodfocus is a good site. Stick with us and we'll all get there
Just add yourself to the list.

pbm you sound like me over easter when I gained, would be much worse if you hadn't lost what you've done already. And what's a john dory? Fish?

murtette Enjoy your bank holiday too.

laughalot what were you drinking? Well done on the 1lb anyway.

Poohbearsmom · 31/05/2010 15:17

Tis a stupidly expensive fish alright Trimmer i would have gotten double the amount of cod or the likes for the same price but iv heard chefs on the telly going on about it and wanted to try... It was lovely but think a cheaper fish prob would have been just as nice... Really want to try dover sole anyone use it? I love trying new things. The zoo sounds good well done you on your restraint! Not even a cone?!
Murtette when the battery dies on mine i borrow the one from my car card key thingy, why o why cant they just use normal ol AA's though!
Just watchin a toon with ds1 at the mo, read three books with him before i let the telly on so dont feel to crapy a mum for mn'ing/havin telly on would really love to head out for a walk though but the weather is really threatening lookin o summer where have you gone!

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/05/2010 21:04

TRIMMER mr blondes says a john dory=morning glory=hard on!!

LAUGHALOT what did you drink and did you mix? and well done on loss

Poohbearsmom · 01/06/2010 09:56

Its a FISH! I sware!! Naughty Blondes

RatherBeOnThePiste · 01/06/2010 10:20

Morning all. Just off to read the thread since Saturday. Lordy, we had three consecutive days of hangovers. Massive fun, very boozy then groan. Lots of cricket and rounders, lots of catching up and loads of food it will take me the whole of this week to get back on track!!

Well done on losses and sts. Am off to read now!

GettinTrimmer · 01/06/2010 10:46

Just forced myself to do Davina's kick fit section of her dvd, just as well as I did home made pizza last night. I just cannot resist it!!

Keep going everyone.... not long now till I have to buy a suit/dress for dh's niece's wedding on 1st August. Can anyone suggest anything for sizeable boobs, slimmer bottom half than top half....

at john dory!

laughalot · 01/06/2010 11:04

Hi guys i did mix my drinks cider, lager, vodka oops. Feeling loads better today but wish kids where at school .

laughalot · 01/06/2010 11:06

Trimmer is it a mega smart wedding ? What about a nice expensive maxi dress ?

GettinTrimmer · 01/06/2010 11:47

Laughalot I think it is a quite laid back affair, taking place in some beautiful gardens, civil ceremony, and we are camping in the grounds overnight.

Can have a look at maxi dresses, definitely think I would have to go for below the knee, according to Gok Wan short skirts don't flatter my shape (caught him on E4 the other day and he was going on about top-heavy hourglasses!)

Dd is going to be bridesmaid, meeting up with niece early july to get a dress for both my dd and her dd (good grief, my great niece ), two little bridesmaids together. Both little cuties.

bebejones · 01/06/2010 12:54

Trimmer - wedding sounds fab!

PBM/Blondes - lol at John Dory

I'm at wits end with the potty training & starting to really wonder if it's too soon?! Yesterday she was fab & only had 3 accidents all day, one of which was my fault as had taken potty to clean it! Today she has had 6 accidents! She hasn't even attempted to make it to potty most of the time & she gets SO upset it's heart breaking!

Had a big fraud on my bank account which we discovered this morning so have had to deal with that too. Oh, and the toilet has got blocked so I can't flush it...which doesn't help with potty training!

And have got a mega sore throat still & generally feeling pretty sorry for myself.

Really want some banana custard, is that bad?! If I made it with skimmed milk?! (Is one of my comfort foods)

OP posts:
Poohbearsmom · 01/06/2010 14:23

With skimmed milk id say its ok enough Bebe and bulk it out with some stewed apple or the likes? Your poor throat are ya taking lemon and honey? Ah poor dd it must be very confusing for them going from wee if and when ya please no bother to all of a sudden having to think about it and be "responsible" myself and dh were chattin bout it last night how ds1 was dyin to train and get his big boy shorts like his daddy but ds2 just isnt ready yet altho ds1 was fully day time trained at the same age, but sure they are all different. I hope it gets easier and if you decide its not her time now and wait for a few weeks she will probably benefit from these couple of days practice and could well fly at it next time! Iv heard a few ppl say that, best of luck anyways
Trimmer the wedding sounds lovely. What a fab idea camping out! Save so much money for the guests esp ppl coming from far away no need for designated drivers jus find a blanket and a quiet bit of grass wrap arounds are flattering for big boobs arent they? Monsoon have some georgous dresses, whats your taste do you like colour/pastels/prints? Are you more into formal or hippy? Il be keeping my eye out now and altho i dont think i can link with my mobile if i see anything il let you know, love missions
Piste your weekend sounds great fun, ye are an active lot arent ye
Laughalot even i know your not supposed to mix your drinks if you dont want to suffer for it and i havnt drank since a naughty ikle teenybooper
