jodie I meant to ask also about your arm, that ice caused havoc. Hope all goes well. I am thinking of changing my weigh-in day to Saturday, that's when you weigh isn't it?

sarah know what you mean about the weekend blip!!

blondes Had quorn sausages for tea, amazing how low in points they are, only 1 point for a big one

PBM I know exactly what you mean about the fat switch!

I can imagine how busy you are with the move.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/04/2010 20:10

Quorn is good on ww. I like the saysages&burger&mince&kief but not the chicken

worked VERY hard at gym and sure tom my bum ad thighs will be on fire!!!!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 22/04/2010 20:28

Welcome Sarah!

Evening All..

Lassie is on his way.. I repeat Lassie is on his way..!!

DH currently en route to Philadelphia then overnight to Ireland, he will be with PBM by 9 am tomorrow, then a flight at 2 to London!

PBM - he is popping into Dublin to find Lily O'Brien, but I am thinking thats a chocolate not a laaaady?!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/04/2010 20:33

Yah for lassie!!!!!

'does happy dance'

sarahmia · 22/04/2010 20:59

your all so funny!!!
i think i need to find my fat switch
did lose 4 lbs this week.. but just had some puff pastry oops!

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/04/2010 21:31

4lbs is fantasic well done

bebejones · 22/04/2010 21:42

Welcome Sarahmia! Pull up a chair (or should that be exercise bike) & make yourself comfy we are all in it for the long haul! 4lbs is fantastic! Have a gold star!

Blondes - maybe you should do a sausages of the world type of thing & have a different sausage every night! Not very diety though! Frankfurters aren't too bad on the cals front, although I dread to think what they are made of!

Piste - Glad Lassie is on the final leg, this time 2moro he'll be home won't he? I love Lily O'Briens chocolates, yum yum!

Someone keeps flicking my fat switch on and off, think I may need to tape it down & put a 'do not turn off' notice above it!

OP posts:
Poohbearsmom · 23/04/2010 00:45

Lol Piste i shall have the tea and the Lilly's waiting tell him to pick ya up some brown soda bread too! Ye must be so excited such a mammoth journey
Blondes ye simply must try the spicy lamb sausages dh gets from the butcher my goodness they are something else, im burping them for at least a day after we eat em but they r soooo worth it i like the quorn chick pieces myself but not mad bout the mince but still use it as its such a small fraction of the calories of 'real' mince
Trimmer when i was buying my curtains i also got voiley thingys & i sware the min i saw them you & your voiley hanging at half mast popped into my head & i musta looked a mad thing stood grining away to meself & my precious curtains we'r slowly getting there with the move, dh is killin himself workin flat out in the new house & iv been packin up everything ready for shipping over & doing my best to tidy this place yesterday i painted the living room & i washed the walls n the hall (ran outa paint) & i scrubbed the balcony, bathroom & all the cubboards today almost there now

Poohbearsmom · 23/04/2010 01:00

Next time i reach for something i shouldnt Bebe i shall remember the sign above the fat switch and resist altho i think you'v left your switch in a different post code cause not even sampling your h.m choc cookies is amazing!!

bebejones · 23/04/2010 08:37

PBM - I had a bite of DH's cookie last night....so good! But couldn't possibly eat a whole one I would feel guilty for a week! They are so indulgent & crammed full of very naughty things!! (That's why they taste so good!!)

Happy St George's day! We are 'celebrating' tonight with friends. We English always seem to overlook our own saint! Just hoping the pub does salads!

Going to have rhubarb with yoghurt for breakfast...I know it's not very breakfasty, but I really fancy it! No meringue though!

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/04/2010 10:45

Dh has arrived in Dublin! We are on course to celebrate DDs birthday. Woohooo!

Hope all well. Isn't it a gorgeous day today!!

Poohbearsmom · 23/04/2010 10:49

Bebe yog and rhubarb is way healthier then the scone with jam i just had tis all dh's fault he brought home the dough for us yesterday & i baked em this morn my goodness the smell of vanilla was fab so that was my very indulgent breaky but im gona have salad raw veg & h.m "hummous" for lunch havnt a clue what im doing for dinner yet... have a tin of kidney beans, carrots, pots, rice, spinach, peas, baked beans, eggs and a few other little bits & bobs but thats it cause we didnt do a proper shop this wk cause we didnt want to be moving over loads of food as well as the million other stuff but iv been at a loss the last few days what to make did lentil stew & h.m rolls, done multiple mashs and fear it might be mash and fried eggs with some veg again today inspire of girls!

Poohbearsmom · 23/04/2010 11:07

Poohbearsmom · 23/04/2010 13:19

Thats worse then my scone ya naughty sausage well done on your lb Blondes

laughalot · 23/04/2010 13:19

Hi everyone and well done on your loses you are all doing so well. I have a size 14 denim skirt on today and I actually feel nice and even though its a 14 I feel slim. I can happily pick something up in a size 14 now without trying it on.

Welcome sarahmia and well done on your loss this week. You will like it here .

Blondes 11 weeks aaargh, nom nom on the sausage my dh is sausage fetish .

Bebe that cookie sounds lush I dont have to worry to much because dh is trying to be good with me but the other night he had a twirl and I was drooling .

Piste glad dh is back soon he sounds a busy man.

Trimmer hows things with you ?

Jodie is that dress any better keep going girl.

Pbm how is the move going ? Moving is very stressfull.

Sorry if I have missed anyone im so busy at the minute what with work and my dd starts pre school next week so often I feel I cant keep up but I do read your posts most nights.

GettinTrimmer · 23/04/2010 13:35

Afternoon all

piste great on dh arriving in Dublin!! Lucky him, I'd love to go there and have some Lily's with PBM!

PBM Could you have a risotto with spinach, peas and kidney beans? Or eggs, beans and oven baked potato wedges?

I still haven't replaced the voiley things in my bedroom, every time I get changed I close the curtains. On that subject, how do you measure up for them?

bebe I will make that rhubarb compote, it sounds lush

blondes well done on your 1lb!! Hope job with 11 week old is OK.

laughalot Good to see you. I rang our local college about the classroom assistant qualification, but they are changing it this year - a bit

I've decided to weigh in tomorrow, but since Monday I have been really sticking to ww, seems to be working out well for me, easier to press a mental stop button once I've got to my points.

Poohbearsmom · 23/04/2010 13:39

Just waved off mr. Piste safe journey and hope ye have a lovely weekend celebrating piste

bebejones · 23/04/2010 14:00

Blondes - Well done on your 1lb!

Piste - Feel like you need one of those map things with the progressing lines like you get on airplanes tracking DH's progress. Or better yet when he comes home you could fit him with a GPS!! Hope you all have a lovely & much deserved weekend away as a family!

Trimmer - I think I would get myself so confused with the WW points. Find DH's SW book really confusing too. I find that calorie counting is good for me but I need to make some time somewhere to do proper exercise. I walk around alot & am always on the go with DD but just never have the time or enthusiasm for vigourous exercise!

Really worried about what I'm going to be able to eat at the pub later. I have been very good so far. Only up to 400 cals. Just in case there is only naughty stuff!

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 23/04/2010 14:29

Thanks all for being so kind- DH on his way now from PBM to London, as soon as DD gets home we are going to pick him up from Heathrow on our way. There were times we thought he wouldn't get here on time, and thank goodness he didn't wait it out in Sydney, it would have ben 3rd May!

It is supposed to be glorious all weekend - fabulous
See you all on Monday for the weigh in, but well done Blondes

Enjoy!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/04/2010 15:09

PBM hugemouse is yummy - i love it on rivitta , stick it on cucumbers or hell i just swlr my finger in the pot - and the scone was yummy would sooooooooooooooo love one warm with butter melting and jam

LAUGHALOT fab you are in a size 14 skirt!!!

PISTE hope you enjoy lassies dh's sausage when he lands really pleased he managed to get hme and have a fabby weekend for dd birthday

BEBE its easy - all food has a poit and you learn what they are or put in cals and sat fat in calculater and it works it out

JODIE how is detox today - have you tried dress on yet?

TRIMMER glad points seem to be working, its nice you can eat what you like as long as STAY within your points - tho now i have pointed my breakie 2 eggs (3) 2 toast (2) butter (2) 2 sausages (4) tomarto (0) hash browns (4.5) bacon (2) beans (1) = 17.5 POINTS

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2010 15:32
