Old thread here

Nice new home for us now that March is over!

Just indulged in an ice lolly (twister 85cals) with DD as we went out for a walk & it was baking! Did 30mins Wii as well, so figured it cancelled out they lolly! DD has covered me in hers though!

Blondes - that breakfast sounds amazing very

Dis - what is zumba?

If I struggle to get down to 11 something over the next few weeks I might have to give WW a go I think! I need to have reached at least (or should that be at most ) 11 stone by DD's birthday! That is my goal for now, want to be less but have the rest of the year to do it!

bebe ww is easy, food just has a points system, it's related to calories and fat - a ryvita for example is 1/2 point, 43 cals with 0.1g of saturated fat. I just find it easier to plan what I am going to have, rather than thinking in 100s and 1000s, on foodfocus I wasn't planning very well.

blondes Breakfast like a king and lunch like a pauper!! What's the 29.5 points, is that what you're having for today?

dis I think I've heard of zumba somewhere..

I don't want to think about how many points I will be having tomorrow - going to London to see a play, The Real Thing at the Old Vic Theatre. My friend is taking some lagers, I am taking a bottle of Lambrusco, we're having a packed lunch (with ww mini chocolate rolls!!) and a meal somewhere after we've found a pub.

GettinTrimmer · 23/04/2010 16:22

And I don't usually drink...

GettinTrimmer · 23/04/2010 16:23

A twister ice lolly is probably about 3 points (just a guess)

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/04/2010 16:41

dh and i went to wetherspoons for breakie and looked in my book and the meal i had was 29.5 points - how??

was only eggs/bacon/hash browns/toast/butter/tomato/beans/sausages - the only thing that was free was a mushroombut thats the only thing i didnt eat as cant stand mushrooms!!

may be breakfast like a king, but the rest of the day will be water and 0 point soup

twister ice lolly is 1.5p

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2010 17:24

this is zumba

its a dance excercise thing, its really fun tho!

sarahmia · 23/04/2010 19:04

sorry to post and run but my sabbath is about to come in (im an orthodox jew) but wel speak about that later...
well done on your weight losses ladies!!
i on the other hand have grazed all day on bad things to hand... my DH just DOESNT get it, diet = no naughty food in house. that includes 3 tubs of haagen daaz....

uch have probably put my 4 lbs back on!

blondeshavemorefun 29.5 points for one meal???!!!! thats MAD!!

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2010 19:10

Aww Sarah, mines the same the day I said I was back on the diet he bought a huge bar of my fave choc

bebejones · 23/04/2010 20:13

Sarah Haagan daaz is banned in my house at the moment. I find it really hard not to eat it a tub at a time! Especially the Baileys one (which is weird coz I hate Baileys as a drink )

Dis - That dancing looks way too energetic for me

Have been VERY bad for dinner at pub, ham, egg & chips! Didn't/couldn't eat all of it! Oh well, maybe I can do some more Wii before DH comes home! Or maybe I'll just go watch Eastenders....

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2010 20:21

awww that sloth is cute!!!

GettinTrimmer · 23/04/2010 20:31

Was it complicated to follow, Dis?

GettinTrimmer · 23/04/2010 20:33

I did some boxing on our wii Bebe, see what you mean about getting puffed out doing it!

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2010 20:34

I have no co-ordination, and I was OK, theres a beginners thing that talks through the steps first, then when you do he workout they kind of talk through it,

I downloaded it, the zumba 20 min express work out and basics.

Disenchanted3 · 23/04/2010 20:35

That youtube video isnb't the one I do, its a DVD copy thingy.

I've changed my weighing in day to Saturdays, just to give me a chance to relax a bit at the weekend.

Lost 2.5lb but will up my ww points a bit this week don't want to lose too quickly.

Disenchanted3 · 24/04/2010 08:11

Well done trimmer!

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2010 11:59

sarah stop grazing!!

BEBE ham, egg and chips wont be too bad if been good rest of week

trimmer well done on loss - glad ww is working for you - seems even if i am very good i still lose a lb - not fair sometimes

just been to body cmbat and tho arms and legs ache, not as bad as was last week

off to enjoy the sun

have fun all

bebejones · 24/04/2010 12:57

Blondes - was probably one of the best things on the menu but you didn't see how many deep friend chips I ate!!!

Oh well, back on it again today, might try and do some gardening been and bought some strawberry plants with DD this morning!

DH was supposed to have strimmed the back garden this morning but yet again he has managed to do himself a mischief so can't do it!!! Now he is sat watching the football, convenient or what?!?! He says he will do it 2moro if he isn't feeling too bad!

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2010 13:43

Hmmmm. Mr bebe can manage to sit down. I would be tempted to find a chair and make him work in the garden

I'm in our garden. It's soooooo sunny and hoping for z tan

I have my fav 2.5p lunch cooking of chicken&roasted veg. Trying to rein in a few points from yesterday

bebejones · 24/04/2010 15:24

Well spent an hour and a half in the garden, hacking stuff down & planting some hanging baskets & my strawberries. Knackered now, but at least it was good exercise!

DD hasn't napped again, hoping it's not the start of her dropping her nap. She did this a few months back but then went back to having a couple of hours! Love her to bits but it makes the day really long when she is up all day, she needs constant attention & stimulation or she is a monster!

Blondes - is beautiful here too, hoping it lasts. Haven't had your roasted veg in a while, maybe that should be on next weeks menu! Quorn escalopes & salad for dinner here tonight.

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 24/04/2010 17:26

I like quorn escolopes. The cheese/garlic Kief are nice as well dithering between being good and habit salmon ad salad or chicken balls and noodles aka Chinese

off for a picnic tom with friends so went shopping with dh for healthy foods. I put in grapes/lf humous/cucumber/ham/fizzy water and dh put in sausage rolls/ff cheese/chocolate/beer

I will have to ignore his foods!!!!

Sooooooooooooo helpful NOT!!! Makes
mental note to self. NEVER shop with a Hungary husband

I have caught the sun today

Hope dd doesn't give up her sleep. That would be awful!!!!!!

JODIEwantsanewname · 25/04/2010 09:22

AGGHHHHH So sorry to post and run, but need to get a shifty on..

I BLOODY STAYED THE SAME. (sorry for shouting, I'm so cross)

I do have my AF atm, but I have tried extra specially hard this week and I need to get into my dress is 2 weeks!!!!!!!

AAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

GettinTrimmer · 25/04/2010 09:36

Jodie Next week will be better, you'll probably see two week's worth of loss on the scales because of AF this week.

Yesterday, I had alcohol, packed lunch, snacks then a burger king spicy beanburger, chips and onion rings, then more alcohol.

I guestimate about 60 points

Really enjoyed the play at the Old Vic yesterday, major celeb spotting (well just one) saw Kevin Spacey and he signed my programme+!

bebe Fingers crossed dd keeps her nap going for a while yet! You've done a great job in your garden, puts me to shame.

blondes When you're on next, do you know how many points are in Burger King spicy beanburgers? Sounds like you made the best of the sun.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/04/2010 10:15

oh jodie ((HUGS)) esp as you have been so good BUT dont dispair - maybe you lost inches rather than weight - did you measure before you detoxxed?

spicy bean burger is 8.5p, onion rings 4p and small chips 5= 17.5p

sun was lovely yesterday yet raining/cloudy today

might be an indoor picnic/at the pub
