3lb down on last fri Smile..

not sure if i can sustain that tho Hmm.. have been super super super good this week and a weekend of treats ahead!!!

Will do my bike later if i get a chance to minimise the damage!!!

CrispyTheCrisp · 01/10/2010 08:53

Wow on 3lbs off LOTI, but you have been super impressive with your exercise, so well earned. You must be near your goal now?

I ended up doing a 30 minute walk yesterday and no big lunch. Had a club sandwich mid afternoon and then 3 cocktail sausages and 3 biscuits wth cheese plus a bottle of wine last night. Not the healthiest day but maybe not too far over calorie wise Hmm

Off to the dentist later and then we are taking the girls out to lunch afterwards. Hopefully i can make sensible choices and then just have a bowl of soup at tea time

hotterpotter · 01/10/2010 09:03

Well done loti Grin you must be nearly there!

I am down 0.75lb so not too bad, not too good, but at least it's down not up. Still, was horrified to realise this morning that 6 of the 18 weeks to Christmas have already passed Shock and I am currently down 0.25lb on my starting point...

Thought I had found the bag in the loft with my winter clothes in but it turned out to be old maternity and other v fat clothes. There was a black linen summer skirt size 26 ShockShockShock (but I did wear it heavily pg with DS) plus some nursing bras in an L cup so am feeling positively svelte in comparison to that Grin

Found my winter boots too and had to let the buckles out a bit round my calves Blush but at least they do still fit.

Nah, i don't mean that Grin. Come on in lovely and have some celery crisps and alcoholic grape juice. It's Friday night so all sins and absences are wiped clean Smile

{{{{welcome back}}}}}

VintageGardenia · 01/10/2010 21:06

Thanks I'll have a little celery and low fat Philadelphia!

Guys I feel awful, I haven't had time to read back and therefore have not felt entitled to post. However is quite possibly ruder still to disappear without notice Blush.

Strickly - although ought to be going to early bed as getting up at 5 for dp to go to Germany to run a half marathon. He'd be a better thread member than me!

xxx I luuuurve you all still xxx

CrispyTheCrisp · 01/10/2010 21:55

Christ, please don't read back, you'll fall asleep Grin

LOTI has done the Tour de France twice, i have stayed exactly the same weight despite attending torture classes and Hots has been injured and lost her mojo a bit Sad. Oops pops by and we are hoping she gets the all clear for exercising asap.

So, now you are up on the goss you are free to pop in whenever you can Smile

Oh, and good luck to MrFitVintage Grin

hotterpotter · 02/10/2010 11:15

Love you too VG and glad to see you back Smile

Like crispy said I did lose my mojo after being unable to exercise cos I am an old lady injured myself and consequently slipped back towards the biscuit/cake tin, but am fairly firmly back on the wagon and hoping for some good losses over the next 12 weeks before putting it all back on again at christmas

No crisps last night despite mucho wine, and have managed to avoid all toasty goodness this morning in favour of cereal and coffee Smile

3 hours gardening/sweeping/clearing yesterday, although all good works wiped out with wine last night Blush

Ran 5k, 5 mins powerplate and 100 situps, plus taking girls swimming this morning. About to be undone by roast pork & all the trimmings

I am rubbish at this absteining from lovely food and drink lark

luckoftheirish · 03/10/2010 16:15

well done crispy Grin...

did 20km on bike yest and 25km today.. girls have had two full on days so both exersazz done whilst they were zonked out in front of the tv Blush...

food front not so good tho Blush

VintageGardenia · 03/10/2010 18:05

Aw thanks hotsy! Sorry to hear you've been out of action :( great you are back in the saddle now.

Weekends are dire foodwise atm, we had pizza on Friday night, and out to restaurant today for granny's birthday lunch. No wine though Shock. My Jillian dvd is injured and won't play so I have to order a new one or wait for the new weightsy one - maybe it's out by now though.

I am going to do a big & virtuous shop on teh way home from work tomorrow so will be set up for the week with all relevant salad leaves etc.

VintageGardenia · 03/10/2010 20:44

New Jillian DVD is out but only for Region 1.

luckoftheirish · 04/10/2010 14:03

Good to see you back vg tho bummer about dvd.

Did usual today but was really hard as shattered. Only school run part two left phew

CrispyTheCrisp · 04/10/2010 19:30

Lovely food/drink weekend, but i suspect my pesky scales will not agree. AF came on Sat so hopefully some blame for no weightloss last week

Pilates this evening completed, but nowt else Blush

Will try harder tomorrow.......

luckoftheirish · 04/10/2010 19:34

crisp i think we are almost in sync af came sun morn and horrific Sad.. pilates is good so well done girl Smile

hotterpotter · 04/10/2010 22:58

Am feeling a bit schizophrenic now with my two names...

Anyway Saturday good, Sunday carb-laden, Monday great (apart from a thick slice of yummy banana bread and butter Blush) No classic ExerSazz but have walked 3.5 miles pushing Thor in the pushchair, pushed him and loads of healthy grub round the supermarket, hung out / brought in three loads of washing and got a bit sweaty pruning and sweeping up in the garden. Managing to avoid the lure of mini chocolate rolls too...

Loti I hope the sil bitch thing hasn't sent you running for comfort food Sad

hotterpotter · 05/10/2010 10:50

Half a pound down on Friday so going to be v good and hopefully lose a bit more by Friday Smile

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 05/10/2010 12:08

Preschool run done (2.5 miles). Spend an hour in Tescos faffing round buying pass the parcel/party bag/stocking stuff plus wine with 25% off Blush, so no time for hoped for shred as should be working

Yay for the loss Hots, onwards and downwards for you this week Smile

I went to the pub after the preschool meeting and had a pint. Oops. Never mind Grin

luckoftheirish · 05/10/2010 18:14

this name changing is hard work Grin...

what a day but done the usual 20km and walk to and from school twice {3.4 miles} and 100 sit ups.. scales on the way up for some reason tho doing exactly the same as last week.. hoping its bloating from af Hmm

CrispyTheCrisp · 05/10/2010 20:56

Walked another 3.5 miles with buggy this avo (after rescuing neighbours dog). So 6 miles in total which isn't bad.

Body Combat in the morning will complete my 4 Exersazz for this week

LOTI i have not dared to visit the scales as i am pretty sure i am static. But that's ok Smile

hotterpotter · 05/10/2010 22:41

Lots of walking going on today, well done you two Smile

Just 2.5 miles for me but I have also spent an hour hacking away at winter jasmine and honeysuckle plus I've shredded (3/30) and only had a v small ice cream for pudding Blush. Managing to keep a lid on the snacking and even had no carbs at tea time, just chicken with a big salad.

Seem to be taking it seriously this time...

OP posts:
VintageGardenia · 06/10/2010 05:34

Well done on walking etc everyone.

I will never be able to remember hopping in and out of costume like this. Will we just have another thread with the other us-es?

Shred dvd is completely buggered now, am v annoyed and frustrated. As I can't get the shred it with weights one for europe I have ordered another one - a metabolism boost one which has had v good reviews from people who have already done the shred one, and sounds rather tough, 40 something minutes - one woman on Amazon said she did levels 1,2 and 3 of the shred dvd one after the other and still felt sick after 25 mins of this one. So perhaps I won't get very far in it! Grin I'll be annoyed if the the weights thing comes out in the next couple of months now that I've bought this.

Oh dear have I put you to sleep yet...??

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/10/2010 08:50

I know, tis a nightmare. Hence hoping we can move to 30 day disappearing thread and then easily use same names. We could just start a new HotMama thread without the Aug08 bit and then use new names as i would doubt we have any lurking followers here Hmm

And if we did, VG would have put them to sleep WinkGrin

Well done on the shreds Hots, I was going to do it yesterday and bottled. Also had some wine with out mussels last night as we had top open the bottle to use some for cooking Hmm. Good to see you are back in the vibe too. Keep it up lovely, it WILL be worth it Smile

Will await your verdict on new DVD VG, although the motivation for the old one was partly that it was only 20 mins. I will probably get the weights one and i am sure i can supply you with a dodgy copy

Off to body combat shortly, DD2's lesson and then having girls both in the pool for a bit. I think i should be more frazzled fit after that!
