Well done on the loss ALBS Smile

I must confess to an awful weekend as i was so hacked off after weighing. I am currently in uncontrollable freefall Sad, and am eyeing up the girls pizza as i type Blush

Also no swim for me today as we had visitors for lunch but i am going to pilates as DH has just phoned to say he will be home in time. Will try and reverse this mindset with a gym session tomorrow but i suspect i may go shopping instead as i am not feeling the vibe.

Please someone come and kick me. Preferably quite hard......

alittlebitshy · 20/09/2010 18:44

i know all about uncontrollable freefall. that was what a) got me to the point where i was technically obese, and b) what has got me 10lb back up on my june weight.

you CAN do it. Heck, you HAVE done it. maybe just cut yourself some slack for a few days - factor in some treats so you don't feel the despair at needing to eat random crap?!

luckoftheirish · 20/09/2010 18:47

well done ALBS..

C'mon crispy girl you can do it! Hoping you made it to pilates tonight to give you some good vibes for gym tomorrow..

i must confess that i am also totally hacked off.. i have been exercising really hard, eating well with v v limited treats and my weight is constantly going up and up and up SadAngry..

today i have done school run twice with double buggy 20km and 100 sit ups..

luckoftheirish · 21/09/2010 14:47

ok so today i have walked school run and went home long way round

walked back to school for toddler group that has been cancelled so walked long way home again via shops

20km on bike and sit ups with dd2

now i have to go and do school run AGAIN.. with all this exercise i should be losing losing losing losing, considering i have not snacked at all!!! HOWEVER this is not the case.. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

hotterpotter · 21/09/2010 21:05

Loti you must be building muscle like nobody's business! Do you feel more toned?

Had a good day, loads of walking, and exercised face muscles smiling laughing and chatting Smile but being undone now with wine... Back and leg fine now so will start shredding again tomorrow, eek. 120 posts to lose many lb...

Do you think there will be ... on my gravestone???

OP posts:
luckoftheirish · 21/09/2010 21:16

do feel more toned hots but just heavy heavy heavy iykwim SadSadSad

alittlebitshy · 22/09/2010 15:48

I did my token bit of exercise. my walk to toddler group Hmm. tis only about 20 mins each way but is better than nothing. i lead such a sedentary drive since dd went to school - well gradually more so over the almost 4 years she has been there. sigh.

loti your energy puts me to shame.

luckoftheirish · 22/09/2010 16:26

The usual (sigh)... Hoping to go to the gym tom to mix it up a bit. Scales not going down either ( bigger sigh)

CrispyTheCrisp · 22/09/2010 16:55

Afternoon Smile

Thankyou for the kicks (and squeezes Smile). Much, much better few days with pilates monday, 5 mile walk/run yesterday and 3k and 10 mins powerplate today. Plus pushing/chasing toddlers round the zoo. Food going ok, but no weigh until friday and just hope for evens if no loss.

Good luck with mixing

{ha, just had to leave mid post as DD2 came in saying 'Mamma, i got wee wee on my socks' Grin. Unfortunately not found the rest of the wee wee of which i am sure there was some Hmm}

Anyhoo, i digress, good luck with the mixing Loti, and make sure you are eating enough . Sadly i know that i have been Blush

ALBS, how often do you go to toddler group? Can you commit to doing that walk at least twice a week? I may be 'token' but is a good start. I make myself walk to/from school unless torrential rain and it is the regularity of it which i think makes the difference

alittlebitshy · 22/09/2010 17:32

that one only once a week. the other one is just over the road in the church hall so not much use lol. i do walk around locally but nothing huge.

if i walked to and from school i would be very thin. and never home. lol. it is a 10 mile round trip now.

CrispyTheCrisp · 22/09/2010 18:04

Well, could you drive to school in the morning, walk home, walk back to school for pickup and then drive home? 10 miles once a week would be fab. Weather like today would be just perfect too Smile. Also means you would have to walk everywhere during that day too Wink

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/09/2010 10:05

Just walked to and from preschool, so 2.5 miles notched up. I will try and shred later (depending on work) and/or walk to preschool for pickup

Nail bitingly nervous about weigh in tomorrow BlushHmmGrin

luckoftheirish · 23/09/2010 16:49

no nail biting here crispy unless a miracle occurs Hmm

didn't make it to the gym in between interview/making cakes for dd1/loaf for school coffee morning tom/housework..

so did the usual 20km and situps.. only one school run today too..

Really fancy a glass of wine tonight but shall refrain as have been so good all week Hmm

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/09/2010 18:47

I am going to have a G&(S)T later. Has been a hectic day and walked another 2.5 miles. I reckon a 20k cycle and an interview warrants a glass of vino Smile

alittlebitshy · 23/09/2010 20:59

no, it would mean leaving waaaaay too early (we leave at 7.45 as it is), dd would be knackered for school and... tis just too far.

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/09/2010 21:14

No, you drive in and walk back home and then do it in reverse later. No impact on DD, just on your muscles Wink

Next excuse.......Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/09/2010 09:29

Woo woo. 4lbs off. Back to weight on 27 Aug. What has happened to September?? Hmm

On the upside, DH has decided he wants to lose some weight Smile. His reasons are slightly odd in that it is so he can wear a kilt and his mother has told him he is too fat atm to wear one Grin. So, less issues with tempting me into a midweek vino, and i didn't even have a G&T last night.

4 exersazz completed this week and just remembered to book pilates for a week monday. May try and shred later but unlikely.

Also have just made some tomato, lentil and bacon soup for lunch and paprika beef & noodles for tea

How did the rest of you reprobates get on? VG are you still detoxing?

luckoftheirish · 24/09/2010 10:37

Fantastic crispy GrinGrin tho v v Envy..

only 1 sodding lb off SadSadSadSad..

i have biked my heart out this week, completed the school run twice every day bar one when i only managed the home trip.. i have not snacked/drunk wine..

so so feckin frustrated Angry

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/09/2010 10:42

LOTI, 1lb off is pretty good when you are a slim jim anyway. I would bet your fat % has gone down and you are sporting rock hard (heavy) muscles Smile

luckoftheirish · 24/09/2010 13:10

thx crispy still feeling pretty grrr about it.. was on ff all week and was within my calorie range every feckin day and exercising..

ho hum.. last 20km of the week done and sit ups..

so have biked 100km this week
100 sit ups
walked 16.2 miles with another 1.8 to go!!!

god i'm boring Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 24/09/2010 13:14

Are you putting all your exercise onto FF as well?

luckoftheirish · 24/09/2010 13:35

Yes! and it is obv allowing me more calories so using some but not all of them iykwim.. been eating healthily and not too little either..

i think my body is gone into shutdown Sad

alittlebitshy · 25/09/2010 16:27

loti very confusing. BUT 1lb is loss and not only 1lb at all. weigh out 1lb and see how much that is - q a lot!

on that note - i lost 1lb. phew back on the road to loss but still 8lb from my lowest yet and nearly 1.5stone to target Hmm.

luckoftheirish · 25/09/2010 17:38

well done albs.. i am not thinking about it this weekend.. too much on and i think i need a rest from working out being ultra healthy... pours a glass of wine and gets out the cheese Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 27/09/2010 08:41

Well done on the 1lb ALBS. At that rate it is 3/4 stone by Xmas and that will come round very soon Smile

Result here this morning in that i am down 1/4lb on Friday, Woo woo. Good week girls. Remember your water. That said, i am not going to pilates this evening as DH won't be back in time Sad
