may attempt the bike and see how i feel but reckon i may do more harm than good today Hmm

luckoftheirish · 11/09/2010 12:46

Managed 20km on bike although went quite slowly due to chest! Legs wobbly and achy now!!

Swimming dependant on girls behaviour which atm is awful so maybe not!!

hotterpotter · 11/09/2010 18:37

Really fed up as mad dash to try and find escapee DS down the road this morning has made my calf much worse than ever and can only hobble now so no shredding for a while. Don't think I could bike or swim either with it and best thing will be to rest it as much as possible for a few days and hope it heals. Walked to the park but very slowly and was limping like a big fool. Feeling my age today Blush

Crikey Hots, you must have been beside yourself Sad. So glad all turned out ok, but bummer about the effect on your leg. Take some deep breaths and a little something medicinal Smile

LOTI please, please rest and get better

hotterpotter · 12/09/2010 00:44

Was awful, I had visions of him drowned in a neighbour's pond and DH had visions of him knocked down by a car, thank flip nothing worse occurred than us being v scared. Bloody children eh and negligent parents Blush He is just such a different child compared to DD, she would never have wandered off. Hopefully we have learned our lesson and will always check the gate from now on...

hotterpotter · 13/09/2010 20:22

Loti you are amazing!

Feeling shit here, shoulder and leg still sore and to add to the list of ailments I spazzed my back cleaning the floor yesterday so am now walking like a 70-year old and have no hope of any proper exercise for a few more days . Wish I could say the lack of activity has also blunted my appetite...

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 14/09/2010 10:44

LOTI, you need to have rest days too, to let your body recover. Oh and situps with DD's on is quite fun Grin

Swam 50 lengths and pilates last night. Was feeling really good, so got on the scales and nearly wept at 2lb on since Friday. Gah. Really demotivated, however have walked DD1 to school and am trying really hard to get my arse to the gym shortly. However it may just end up as a shred as really cba Sad

Hots, poor you. Hot baths and hot water bottle in bed and some gentle stretching exercises to lengthen and unclick some body parts would be good.

Oops, hope you are ok if you are lurking and bummer about the no exercise. Hope they sort the meds out soon so you can get back to your walking Smile

VG - have you tried Jillians new DVD?

luckoftheirish · 14/09/2010 11:06

Thanks for concern crispy. Was trying to kick start some weight loss but unfortunately like you the scales are going in the wrong direction. Have been good food wise too

have nephew today and just went out with both in double buggy. Never realised what hard work it is. Respect crispy Grin

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/09/2010 12:15

I am now 8lbs up on my lightest. Tis hard Sad

Anyway i have now shredded Level 2 (still seems to kill my knee this one) and if the weather holds and i can walk to school for pickup, will have walked 5 miles.

My double mountain buggy is no real hard work at all really. The double umbrella fold? Well, just as Oops and she will confirm my language after trying to push that one Blush

luckoftheirish · 14/09/2010 13:17

6lbs up from my lighest crispy Sad

20km biked 100 sit ups. Hoping to walk to get dd1 with the two monsters in tow so that will be 2 miles. Pushing 4 stone plus is killing my shoulders. Not sure what double buggy it is but it's a cheapy!!!

Be careful of your knee crispy

rest up hots xxx

oopsandbabycoconuts · 14/09/2010 15:37

I'm here but sulking - I now know why the weight was coming off so easily :( I was 3 down on Saturday morning am now lighter than pre pregnancy but still a stone off my lightest.

I broke the rules today and walked the girls to toddlers in the rain. I just needed to get out and not take the car. The urgent rush bloods are still not back even though they were expected at 3 yesterday!

CrispyTheCrisp · 14/09/2010 15:44

Oh, what a bugger oops. Glad you managed to get out though. A walk in the rain can be quite refreshing. Mind you, i bottled that and took the car to preschool as just as i was about to go out the heavens opened Hmm

luckoftheirish · 14/09/2010 17:19

oh oops my heart goes out to you. i had an overactive throyid before and tis not pleasant. hope u get it sorted quickly[hugs]..

i too backed out of walk as heavens opened.. was hoping to gain some extra cals as has been a hell of a day!!!

alittlebitshy · 14/09/2010 18:18

Uh oh - i slipped off this and i need to be on here.

well, i lost 1 and a half stone in jan-june. then. erhum Blush june-sept i gained 10lb. shite! that is bad isn't it?

trying to get on track again but thing is i am so easily tempted and i love cake, biccies, choc and have no will power. argh!

luckoftheirish · 15/09/2010 13:07

20km on bike, sit ups with dd2, a walk this am and school run this afo..

i just realised that i have been on this thread sice jan and still only 3lb down on what i wanted to be Hmm..

exercise and food going well this week but scales say no..{goes off to sulk in a corner}

CrispyTheCrisp · 15/09/2010 14:06

Since the start of this thread i have put on 4lbs fuck Blush

Ran 3k and 5 mins powerplate this morning before DD2's swimming lesson. 1/2hr is really too short, so i have increased the creche session to 1hr next week

Well done on the exercise and commiserations on the scales saying no likey

hotterpotter · 15/09/2010 19:53

I see your +4 and raise you several more Shock fuck indeed Blush

Leg feeling quite a bit better today so may be shredding again by the weekend. Everyone stop posting so much, there are only 130 left on this thread and I need to get down again before the next one...

OP posts:
CrispyTheCrisp · 17/09/2010 06:58

Arse, tit, fuck, wank

+3

WTF??????

This is after a week of being very good (only slight relax at the weekend) and 4 exersazz. On the course yesterday the food was shit but i managed to restrict myself to 6 finger sarnies/food bites and no biscuits or cakes at all. Even if i ate 1000 calories there and 1000 at home (which i didn't as tomato omlette & yoghurt for tea), that would still be less than rda. How on earth do i manage to pile it on?

Biscuit

BTW, you do not have to answer that question. Tis purely a rant Blush

As you were ladies

hotterpotter · 17/09/2010 08:19

Because bread is the work of the devil? Hopefully lots of water today will wash it all away Smile

I think I am about evens today which is a miracle after a week of no exercise and some moderate indulgence. I had to run half the way to the station this morning and leg seems to be holding up so fingers crossed I will be shredding again very soon.
