Here's the new thread

Peeps through the keyhole to see if she's in the right place, sidles round the door, then sits daintily on the new sofa waiting for everyone to arrive......

GettinTrimmer · 11/03/2010 17:40

Trimmer has cups of tea and carrot sticks at the ready!

Evening all!

I have sinned! DH has dragged me over to the dark side and we had ta pizza!! I hasten to add I had 2 small slices & a massive salad & 2 curly fries

Feel free to eject me from our new home!!

DH had a rubbish day at work & wanted a last meal of the condemed man type dinner! Hope I can be forgiven? I had been exceptionally good all day and it was mainly salad & I am still feeling crap & full of cold! (Trying desperately to justify my naughtiness)

TBH would have preffered a massive slice of chocolate fudge cake to Pizza, but it doesn't 'go' with salad!!

laughalot · 11/03/2010 20:54

Hi here with my plum hee hee

mummymels · 11/03/2010 21:31

Ooh great, I have found our new home. Hi everyone.

Blondes ? Lol on the wine, but never mind. That must have taken some willpower at the toddler group but I bet you felt good for it afterwards. Did sniffing the food help your cravings? That brownie sounds yummy. I am envious!

Piste ? I can?t comment on your achy legs as I constantly have achy legs whether I?m dieting or not. I hope you get some relief soon. I hope your cold is gone soon. I am taking multivitamins.

PBM ? How are you feeling now? You deserve to have a few treats after all you have been through lately. We would never want to lose you from the group. Pleased that you feel better about it now and it sounds as if you have done a lot of resisting too. Those rosies and lilys smell lush.

Laughalot ? Walking really must help your weight loss. I walk quite a lot too.

Jodie ? That must be such a relief having your cast off now. How is your arm feeling? Does it feel all light?

GettinTrimmer ? We do get through these threads quickly. You do sound focused this week. I am sure it will pay off. Oh I love Ask food but not been there for ages. Was it yummy? I haven?t had any drink since being on the diet either. Your trousers sound lovely and a size 14 too.

bebejones ? Hope you are all better soon. You all sound in the wars at your house. That?s good that you had a good news hospital appointment. Your dinner yesterday sounds lovely. Good luck to DH with the Cambridge Diet. You are not going anywhere ? I don?t think you ate too badly, you could have had much more.

Mrswill ? Well done.

LittleRedDragon ? Well done.

mum2OliNoandJess ? Enjoy the christening. I am sure you will still be the proud mummy in whatever you are wearing.

Murtette ? Hopefully next week you?ll lose this weeks weight too.

InThisSequinBraYesYouOlaJordan ? Hello stranger, nice to have you back. It sounds as if you have been doing great. I?ve not heard of that book but will be interested to hear how you get on.

MABS ? Hiya.

Ok day here. Looking forward to my snack this evening. Got some Go Lower chocolate brazils. One of my favourites of the snacks.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/03/2010 21:53

< slinks of quietly to the naughty step >

GettinTrimmer · 12/03/2010 09:32

Morning all

I had a creamy risotto, banoffee pie and 3 glasses of wine at ASK last night, but sadly am suffering for it, up several times in the night with an upset stomach! I suspect it is intolerance to alcohol.

Good luck with weigh in Blondes

You and me both twitter I suspect I may sts again on Monday, again. Started off focused but 2 meals at ASK this week.

mummymels chocolate brazils sound good.

bebejones · 12/03/2010 09:43

Good Luck Blondes!

I think I will sts on Monday too! Just haven't felt up to any sort of proper exercise this week. Moving around makes me feel light headed still! I hate colds & this one is lingering! I'd love to lose something, even a 1lb would be good, just think it's not going to happen. I think I have reached that point where I need to step things up a notch again! Will be easier with DH dieting too!

Mels - chocolate brazils sound yummy!

bebejones · 12/03/2010 12:17

Had a fab morning while DH was with his counsellor. Walked around with DD in stroller for ages up & down hills then found a play area so had fun with DD on the slide & pushing her on swings. A good 50mins of exercise I'm reckoning!

DH can't start his cambridge diet til a week Monday as his counsellor is away & she needs to monitor him first week as it is quite tough. She reckons that if he is good he can lose most of his weight in 6-9months!!! Not convinced but would be amazing, he'd be like a different person by Christmas! Is a bit weird coz he's always been big since I've known him! But it's the best thing for us all, and he says he is doing it for DD so she always has her daddy!

Still dribbling at the thought of that Risotto & banoffee pie Trimmer! PBM sorry you are still having to go in daily, sounds nasty, you are entitled to a little treat so don't feel too bad about eating the french toast!

Got roasted BNS & red pepper soup for lunch which will be lovely as it is quite cold & drizzly here! Need to make some more super low cal celery soup for the freezer too!

GettinTrimmer · 12/03/2010 12:58

bebe I was just having a nosey on your profile - a bit off subject here, but with little dc it's great to be creative!

My two want to take part in the easter egg decorating competition. Ds wants to do 'pokemon' eggs and dd 'pretty' eggs I am not very creative, but will have to get some ideas going.

PBM I'm sure they'll get you sorted, rough at the moment for you. I am drooling myself at the thought of your dh's banoffee pie, it must be impossible sometimes to eat low fat when he brings it home!

You'll be OK, plenty of rest, can you get someone else to go to the chemist for you?

Please just come on and chat whenever you feel like it, thinking of you.

GettinTrimmer · 13/03/2010 13:09

Hi everyone

PBM I'm on and off every day on this thread, come and have a chat when you want, I'll look out for you. For some strange reason I thought you are in North London! Didn't realise you're in Ireland. What part?

They will be sorting you out now, you've got the proper meds Take care.

As far as food is concerned, I've just had a tuna melt panini at BHS but resisted the chips with it for 99p. I keep forgetting to do my food focus.

Blondes I am thinking of having a change for the next couple of weeks and doing 20 ww points per day with 13 exercise points, I think it works out about the same as foodfocus at 1400 calories. How many points do you have per day?

OP posts:
bebejones · 13/03/2010 16:24

Trimmer - I was thinking about changing things up slightly too. Will obviously see how I weigh in Monday but feel like I'm levelling out & need to kick start things again! Plus I have got a bit greedy with my prtions lately and bread has snuck back in a little!

PBM - hope you are feeling a bit better about it all, at least less shocked. Now they have it sussed you will start to improve in no time now they know what they are dealing with! (((hugs)))

Shared a tesco light choices Hot X bun with DD was SO good, but must try and resist more, I'm sure bread makes me bloat!
