Well done everyone!!!!!
Aren't we all the smug ones! I resisted birthday biscuits at work today! They had jammy dodgers and custard creams and everything and I stayed away!!!!!
Afterall I do have 3 inches to lose in 9 weeks!!!
I had Alpen light for breakfast
Ham sandwich and banana for lunch
I think I'm going to have an omlette for dinner
taking dog for walk later, I've still got 150 calories left, so maybe a muller light later on.

I've stopped Slimming World and gone back to cal. counting, much better.I have a fab app on my IPhone for it,so I can do it 'on the run' too, I don't have to write it all down and wait until later IYKWIM

PMB They are lovely! (sometimes!) There is 22 months between them. DS1 is Sept 06 too, so is the same age as your DS1!! (his is the 15th, whens yours?) How's you pain in the bum? seriously though, how you feeling?

Blondes I loves, love, love my iphone

JODIEwantsanewname · 15/03/2010 18:56

Oh I heart my iPhone too! I'm never without it!!!!

The app is called Shapeup. It's only given me 1100 cals for 2lb loss a week, but I might lower it to 1.5lbs a week and see what happens!

Well done tubbyduffs
and I forgot to say a great big welcome to clam dis where art thou?

bebejones · 15/03/2010 19:26

Well done tubbyduffs!

PBM what is this tasty kinder treat you speak of?

Very of the tarts & cheesecakes!!

Jodie - I did SW a few years back with DH & found I sts after about 4 weeks. Calorie counting is the only way to go for me. Foodfocus gives me 1600 a week for 2lbs loss (but I am considerably heavier than you!) Although I do barely make it to that most days. Just drinking so much water/squash that I don't seem to feel hungry. Plus the things I am eating are filling me up longer (low GI).

Have had 2 pieces of garlic bread with dinner was a treat for losing 4lbs! Have the whole week to make up for it!

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2010 19:56

Well done tubby

sure I will love the i phone in time but my nokia and I had a bond

got my trusty chicken&veg in the oven

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/03/2010 23:11

Have downloaded the app. It's a good site. Thanks xx

Poohbearsmom · 15/03/2010 23:16

I proper laughed out loud at all your little green envy men piste kinder pengui's can be found n the yogurt fridge section n tesco they r so lovely dark choc on the outside thin layer nd choc sponge sandwiching creamy foam stuff mmm and really quite low cal for a nice lil treat but wait till ya try its mama da maxi king mmm mmm mmm Jodie my ds1 is 17th sept they'r practically twins! was hard when they were little having such a small age gap but its nice now how they can play fight with each other Murette i ebf my boys but i didnt diet at da time simply ate all round me & got huge if it might help u why dont ya try writting down every single thing ya eat for a few days either here wit us & we might b able to help ya a lil give suggestions & wat not or if ud prefer Foodfocus is very good. How ya gettin on wit drinkin heap of water? iv bn told we shud drink at least 3lrs a day when dieting. Bf'ing actually uses quite a bit of cals its jus da cravin stodgy foods dat goes hand n hand wit it dats da killer...

GettinTrimmer · 16/03/2010 10:51

Murtette well done on your 1lb

tubby Also well done on your 1lb

PBM On the subject of water - I drink too much tea and coffee, not enough. You've reminded me to drink more. How are you feeling now?

dd is off sick today, ear infection and throat virus.

I am finding this dieting difficult this week and feel like eating fish and chips for lunch. We've just had our 10th weigh in anyway, and need to carry on being focused, in another 10 weeks another stone would have gone for me.

OP posts:
bebejones · 16/03/2010 12:35

Just had the shock of my life! DD was sat in her highchair at the table while I got the shopping from the car. She was happily munching on some raisins & reading a book. I came in & she was screaming, I found her lying on her back on the stone tiled floor! Really scared me, have no idea how she managed to do it although DH informs me she climbed out and stood on the dining table the other day! She screams her head off when we use the straps, but I think she is definately going to just have put up with them! Just thanking God that she isn't hurt, as far as I can tell!

This whole episode makes me want comfort stodge! Making a choc fudge cake for DH today before his diet he is having lots of naughty favourites as he won't be eating proper food for weeks! Might have to have a sneaky slither or that later! Just to steady the nerves...medicinal!

Poohbearsmom · 16/03/2010 13:57

omg thats awful Bebe id put up with da fussing screaming for a few meals she'l soon realise ye mean business! both mine did da protesting too... We havnt used the high chair n a long time tho cause ds2 really wanted to sit on the big chairs like ds1 so we always let him sitting on his knees and he loves being like his brother & eats great altho he has always ate gr8 feedin himself hated us doin it for him makes a giant mess but a happy one hope ur dd is feelin better Trimmer glad i reminded ya tis such a chore drinkin so much sometimes esp wit runnin to da toilet all da time... im ok, fed up...

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2010 15:02

bebe your poor dd. How old is she? Maybe that will teach her to sit still/strapped in etc < mean nanny emotion>

been good so far. Fruit for breakie and ham/salad sandwich, bgty bar and sf jelly. Might have salmon&rice for tea

GettinTrimmer · 16/03/2010 15:34

bebe my dd tumbled down the stairs from top to bottom, twice, once when she was 2 then a few months ago, both times she wasn't hurt. Agree about strapping her in. I used to do the same as PBM with my dd, she went off the high chair at 2.

I know what you mean about comfort stodge, I had 2 digestives with a cup of tea after lunch and 2 squares of leftover chocolate from the cheesecake.

PBM glad you're OK. Try and get some time to yourself for lovely hot baths, watch a dvd.

Blondes You're inspiring me to get back on track with your being good Having a minor falling off the wagon today.

OP posts:
bebejones · 16/03/2010 16:45

Have had the tiniest slither of slithers of choc fudge cake...but did lick the bowl!!!

DD is 19months, she has fallen down stairs twice, both times about 5 steps. She is always covered in bruises. Unfortunately she is very clumsy like me! She would love to not sit in her highchair but she is only diddy & would not be able to reach the table on a normal chair, plus she is a crap eater & if she wasn't restrained she would get down & run around rather than eat! Oh the joys of parenthood. Didn't put her down for a nap today so I could keep an eye on her. Will be paying for that in about an hour!

PBM glad you are sounding more upbeat. Hope ur bottom feels better soon! Those kinder things sound yummy, they dont have them in our tesco!

Blondes I have tried to be good today, but the choc fudge cake is calling me & my house smells all warm & chocolatey! Everytime I find myself drawn towards the cake I eat a grape instead & walk away!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 16/03/2010 17:32

Gawd. I really want some munchy nom noms. Am craving stodgy things.

Just had a kiwi. Nice but no satisfaction!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2010 18:39

i have resisted mb tart/pastry thing ... so far

i like kiwis

gonna spice up my salmon and rice with chilli

GettinTrimmer · 16/03/2010 19:27

Do you fancy digestives Piste? 72 calories each. Breadsticks also not disasterous.

at munchy nom noms

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2010 19:55

Dh has just rang me up and asked me to go to the chippy and buy him a large cod

is this grounds for divorce?

bebejones · 16/03/2010 20:31

Bloneds - Tell him if he wants it to get it himself!!! The cheek of it!!

Piste - Nairns Ginger Oat Biscuits, 40ish calories each & sweet & low GI. YUM! Or caramel jumbo snack-a-jacks 50ish calories each. Sugar free jelly - 8cals a portion. (Less for orange)

Had a bite of DH's cake after dinner. But have resisted cutting myself a large wedge! Have done so much baking this weekend, torture having all this cake around. Why do I do it to myself?!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2010 21:07

I brought him one. His I'm a fantastic wife!!!

I ate my salmon and veg and he ate his deep dried battered cod

those Ginger oat biscuit sound yummy

RatherBeOnThePiste · 17/03/2010 07:56

GettinTrimmerAllTheTime
yes I fancy digestives!!

and

BebeJ those Ginger bickies sound lovely. My only problem is that if I start I may not be able to stop!
