well done sequin

im hoping for a lb loss tomorrow as sts last week but also i did eat a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumy md meal

mummymels · 19/03/2010 02:33

Hi all, sorry I?ve been AWOL for a few days. Busy with work but I need my chat time back now. I think I may have missed some bits out as too much to read back on so sorry if I have.

GettinTrimmer ? Your meal at ASK last week is making my mouth water. I haven?t been to ASK for a couple of years or so but it is yummy there. Your Nigella Lawson cake sounds yummy. Hope nighttimes are better now with DS.

Poohbearsmom ? Hugs to you. It?s now wonder you are feeling so upset. You have more than enough to contend with as it is. It sounds as if the hospital are looking after you and at least they have someone coming to your home now so that you don?t have to keep going there. Hopefully they will have it under control before you know it. I?ve not started making my own meals yet cos I am lazy! Well done on your loss.

bebejones ? How much does your DH have to lose again? Good luck to him. That?s a brilliant loss, well done. Sorry things are tough for you at the moment. I hope they improve.

Blondes ? Great news that you didn?t put anything on with all that wine. You are allowed to be naughty on mothers day. Your meal sounds yum.

JODIEwantsanewname ? Brilliant loss of inches. That dress is lovely. What a brilliant incentive. Well done on resisting all those goodies. I hope you enjoyed your curry.

Piste ? Well done on your loss. I think you can only buy the brazils at Go Lower. It might be worth calling them to see if they can be bought in the shops but I?ve not seen them anywhere. Yum - www.golower.co.uk/chocolate_brazils.jpg.

Clam ? Welcome to the thread and well done on your loss. That is very unfair but maybe you will have a big loss next week instead. I hope so.

Murtette ? Well done on losing. Sorry I didn?t diet whilst I was BF and am not sure if it affects it.

TubbyDuffs ? Well done on your loss.

Kayzr ? Sorry to hear things have not worked out. I hope you are ok.

InThisSequinBraYesYouOlaJordan ? Well done on your loss.

Mrswill ? Not long to go until you are at goal now.

The chocolate brazils are lovely. In fact I have some more next to me tonight whilst I?m on the computer.

bebejones · 19/03/2010 08:13

Just a quick one, will catch up properly later!

Just ordered myself a sports bra, measured for it & have gone from a 40 back to a 36!!! (Cup size still same, but that's not great surprise!) But still dead chuffed with that! I would love to be a 32 again...later this year maybe?!

Poohbearsmom · 19/03/2010 08:38

O kayz im so sorry hun please talk to us anytime you want to... Sequins well done ur doin brill Trimmer hav u tried sleep essence or child essence drops for ds? i know a lady who swares they changes their live cause they never had a prop nights sleep before being recommended them. u can get them n any health food store & i think most chemists who hav herbal stuf wud hav them. iv seen dr. jan sumit on da telly a few times recommendin them, i think ya jus giv a couple of da lil drops mixed up n a yogurt or milk/cocoa bout an hr b4 bed time i think it was, they'l tell ya properly n any health food store, i know my friend recommends them so highly, they might b worth a try. i know dat dr. Always havin/givin a snack an hr b4 bedtime a banana & milky drink is best. hav a tried using aromatherapy oils? we always used them n them n da hosp i workd lavander is fantastic for calming/relaxing & helpin ppl sleep, we always had a plug n burner but i rem my mum used to put some drops on da back of my headboard & rub it on my bedrm light bulb too. if it was me id b worried bout bringing him to da g.p ncase ds wud worry but u know best like. ignore me anytime ya like but i hope this helps

Poohbearsmom · 19/03/2010 09:31

Mels ul have to get cookin our soups soon bebe thats fab bout da bra im wearin pre preg 1's at last but my bombs hav shrunk so much since stopping bf'ing they r but a shaddow of their former self...

bebejones · 19/03/2010 10:22

PBM - I am back in pre PG bras now too, & had thought they were feeling looser, time to dig out the smaller ones!

Mels - you are always so good at commenting on everyone else! Puts me to shame! Hope you aren't working yourself too hard! Choc brazils do sound yum!

Sequin - Well done!

Hope everyone else is doing ok today! I am off 'swimming' with DD in a bit. Fingers crossed she enjoys it this week & we aren't in there 5mins like last time! I count this as exercise but it's more bobbing about with DD & throwing her about a bit & splashing! But every little helps right!

Having a treat 2moro, American style blueberry pancakes with syrup for brekkie. Can't eat a whole batch on my own & DH starts Cambridge diet Monday. Really looking forward to it! They were going to be my 2stone treat but I'm only 1lb off that & DH wants them too so Sat is last chance! That gives me Sunday to work them off before weighing in!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/03/2010 11:06

MUMMYMELS nice to have you back again

BEBE fab you have lost 4inches, often if you lose inches you gain a bra size, so dont fret if next time you go up

BEBE well done on smaller bras

laughalot · 19/03/2010 12:13

Well done everyone on your fab loses, I have mostly ate salad this week with my dh being away so I best have lost some .

Is it true about the bra thing as iv have lost inches but gone from a d cup to a f cup i nearly died lol.

bebejones · 19/03/2010 13:38

I suppose if your back size decreases and your breast tissue doesn't then the gap between the inch measurements results in a 'bigger' cup size even if you are essentially smaller! Does that make sense?!

laughalot · 19/03/2010 13:58

bebejones lol dident think of that scary if i lose loads of inces then ill be like jordan

bebejones · 19/03/2010 14:03

I guess it all depends how much fat you store in your boobs as well...I think I must have had a lot!!! Although unfortunately the only way for me to have significantly smaller boobs would be surgery!

Well done Blondes!

Poohbearsmom · 19/03/2010 15:25

Lol Blondes so true if ya compare a 32D & a 40D for eg. theres a huge diff n da cup not jus da back stap like... tis gr8 gettin smaller but my boobs r gettin quite teeny my older sis is a skinny yoga type wit a completely flat chest she says shes never passed da pencil test & pads her bra wit enuf stuffing to fill a decent sized fluffy cushion!! my lil sis on da other hand has massive boobs but shes really tall & looks fab, so i know im never gona b tall wit big boobs but if by some very slight chance i do manage to slim down like my big sis i really hope il stil at least b able to pass da pencil test... no Jordan asperations (sp?) here

Poohbearsmom · 19/03/2010 15:57

Well done Blondes hows da pp'ing going? Will ya not get to c dh till sun eve? i had ur pitta pizza for lunch & it was absolutly georgous i used da ww pittas cut em open topped wit tomato, red onion, olives, chedder, herbs & spice & my mouth is watering jus thinkin bout how lovely they were! pbm to her recipe guru Blondes

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/03/2010 20:25

aww PBM i dont have many receipes, but what i do like, i eat a lot of,ie chicken+roasted veg and my pizza creation

pp is going just fine thanks ]

kids go to bed 7ish and i woke them 7.30 this morning so giving an hour to get ready for school etc

im hoping for 8am tomorrow

woof is fine - great guard dog great guard dog!!

GettinTrimmer · 19/03/2010 20:27

Evening all

Sequinbra Well done on your weight loss

mummymels Nice to see you! Work's getting in the way of mumsnet!

PBM Really good idea about the sleep essence, thanks, worth a try and could be what we need. Agree GP too worrying for him.

at nice small boobs!

Kayz well done on your 3lb loss. Sorry you're having a stressful time of it.

bebe great on the reduced bra size, I got properly measured a while ago, she put me in 34 back and they felt really tight, but now they are comfortable. I measure on 1st April and hoping to see reduced inches.

Went to La Senza and tried on the largest cup size, still didn't fit me because they are quite small fits, but OK for back measurement. When I am 11 stone I will stroll in there and buy 2 for £20!

Blondes well done on your 1lb, a good feeling after sts the week before. Agree girls want smaller boobs, I would love small pert ones and wear skimpy things without a bra. With generous ones if I wear anything a bit low cut they look like they are asking for attention.

Laughalot Good luck for Monday, if you've had salad all week sure it'll be good news

whhops posted too early -dh popped in earlier, he is very welcome to stay but he likes his own bed

GettinTrimmer · 19/03/2010 20:30

That dog is gorgeous Blondes. How often do you have to walk him?

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 19/03/2010 21:47

gorgeous?

hmmmmmmmmm hes very over loving and wants to sit on me all the time - but i do have a soft spot for him

he 21mths - one day older than babs

i dont walk him, made it very clear that is they get a dog that i dont look after it - obv i feed him if working late/pp and give him cuddles etc

but no walks, db/mb/dog walker/neighbour all do

RatherBeOnThePiste · 20/03/2010 09:15

Morning all!

Wish me luck for tomorrows London sports relief run. Actually I am only doing a mile but it is in public not in the dark!! DD and some mates are doing 3 so I must finish before they do....

bebejones · 20/03/2010 09:38

Blondes - what a gorgeous doggy!

Piste - Good Luck for your run, I'm sure you will be fine!

I'm not thinking about how many calories were in my breakfast, but each and every one of them was delicious!! I do not deserve to lose weight come Monday based on that buttery, syrupy calorie fest! I can feel the guilt monster creeping up on me as I type! I shall just have to be very good & stick to water & rice cakes for the rest of the day Will do some Wii in a bit to try and make up for it. Wanted to take DD to the park but it is tipping it down!

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/03/2010 13:11

PISTE good luck with run tomorrow

i have just eaten somescrummy chippalator sausages - were scrummy

have eaten lf ones for ages and kids and i had proper ones brought frombutcher
