Does anyone want to start WeightWatchers with me?

I hate jumping into new threads ... everyone has a head start and they aren't all excitable about it like new people.

I lost 2.5 stone a couple of years ago, using WeightWatchers, so I know it works. Unfortunately in the last 6 months, a stone of it has crept back on and I'm really NOT prepared to be fat again. I weighed myself today, and am (gosh) 13st 1lb.

My points allowance is 20, my first goal is 12 stone 8 lb - who's with me!?

Hi all,

1lb lighter which I am pleased about and 12 in total.

The 4,5,7 I think is food points so 4 for breakfast, 5 for lunch and 7 for supper.

Mithered don'tgive up, it is always tough around the time of the month.

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 22/10/2009 10:42

The Options Belgium Chocolate Sachet is .5 points by the way so good to get a choc fix and a drink in one.

DizzyBrunette · 22/10/2009 16:32

Can I join please? I started WW Online nearly 4 weeks ago and have lost 7lbs so far in total
My weigh in is on a Friday and I always do it first thing in the morning. I normally sneak a few weigh in's during the week but daren't this week as I had a weekend away, tracked it all and was -26 points...arrgghhh!! I have been really good from Monday until now tho so fingers crossed I won't have put any on.
I weigh 11 stone 7 lbs and would like to get to about 9 stone (I'm 5'3). I'm still in my maternity clothes and my daughter is now 9 months old and I have a wardrobe of clothes that I can look at but not wear anymore so am determined to shift the weight!!

Well done all the losers

Yes, 4,5,7 is the points for meals fast start thing - I haven't done it, but our leader said you could have any meals to the value of those points, not just the ones they suggest.

Does anyone plan their meals a week ahead? One of the girls at our meeting does - sits down with all her books on a Sunday and plans it all out. I was , but I don't think she has a family to cook for!

I think I might have to miss the next weigh-in - 2 weeks is a long time to mess up in, isn't it?

Well done everyone especially SGM at 3.5 lbs. Although have to say d&V not best way to lose weight! Well 1.5 lbs off for me this week so am celebrating with a bottle glass of wine.

Will try the fast start thing from tomorrow and see if it inspires me. I used to meal plan for whole family all the time prior to starting WW but have got out of habit. Just sort of work it out a couple of days ahead now but think it would probably help to plan.

I like Bovril so have that as a hot drink to fill me up. And carrots are my friend!

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 23/10/2009 14:10

I meal plan, makes life so much easier and then I work backwards about points.

wonderif · 27/10/2009 10:47

HerMomminess · 29/10/2009 17:46

Can I join??

Prev lost on WW.Joined 4 weeks ago and have lost...1 pound! DD1 is 12 weeks old and I'm struggling to cope with bf-ing munchies; clocks going back, and v little exercise(especially compared with vefore DD arrived).

Weigh 12 stone/76 kg need to loose 10kgs at least! Worried re bmilk suppl if too strict. Ditto closet full of clothes I can't wear. Refuse to buy fat clothes after mat and nursing clothes!

How does anyone do exercise?

HerMomminess · 29/10/2009 17:56

Anyone tried buggyfit? Used to swim/cycle/run in my prev life. Now a distant memory...

bigTillyMint · 30/10/2009 13:09

I've got a friend who has lost her baby-fat after her second baby doing WW and "power pramming", etc. I think she started when baby was about 4 months old.

ajamore · 01/11/2009 15:30

Checking in again because I don't want to fall off the wagon and am definitely in the danger zone.

Welcome to all the newbies too.

Missed a week's weigh-in but had managed to lose 2.5 pounds over the two weeks when I weighed in last week - phew! However, I have gorged all day yesterday - Halloween sweets, pizza garlic bread, more chocolate and sweets, gallons of wine. Today I was supposed to be reining it back but have already had more sweets, toast and butter etc. Thought that if I posted here it would help get me on the straight and narrow again!

Have lost a total of 12.5 pounds in the past 6 weeks and am now 12 stone 6.5. I know that it's make or break time for me - if I go this week and stay the same or gain then I am in danger of giving up - but I am determined not to!!!

Saying that out loud on here helps

Jem27 · 02/11/2009 12:59

HerMomminess - I have a 12w old baby too, Im so sick of wearing my mat jeans!!

I have been pretty good and so far have been losing 1-2 pounds a week, my aim was to be 12 stone 4 by this Sat (which is a half stone loss)I set this target about 4 weeks ago as I wanted to be realistic and know that at the weekend the diet really goes to pot. So will weigh in on Friday evening to see if I have reached my first target.

Im going to do it half a stone at a time, seems less daunting for me that way. Am also walking lots now so am hoping that will speed up the weight loss.

HerMomminess · 02/11/2009 17:31

Howdie...weigh-in tonight. Not sure DD will allow me to go.Haven' t managed to 'track' my eating but defo been better since 'joining' this. Keep thinking:'nothing can taste as good as feeling thin'

Jem...here's hoping. Had to dress smart today.Total panick trying to find s'thing other than trackie bottoms/mat jeans.Hey ho mat trousers. One day those Levi's will be mine again.

Will let you know.

HerMomminess · 02/11/2009 20:21

WOO HOO!!2.5 pounds off. Nearly fell off the scales and almost got arrested for wanting to kiss the leader. Might have worn 'lighter trousers'...but couldn' t explain the loss.

Hang in there lovely ladies.

Good idea re quorn and veggie tagines. Have filled up with yummy butternut squash soup.

Good luck with Friday, Jem.

bigTillyMint · 02/11/2009 21:04

Well done!

I only lost 1 pound over the last 2 weeks (missed one because of half-term), but I have lost 10lbs and made it to my goal weight!

Sadly, I think that may be due to wearing lighter clothes, so I'm staying on 18 points for the forseeable. But at least I don't have to pay now!

Does anyone know if you can stay on the internet WW if you get to gold?

ajamore · 03/11/2009 14:43

Well done BigTillyMint for getting to gold - perhaps you could drop the "Big" from your name now?! No idea how the gold stuff works online though.

Wonder how Colditz is getting on - she's not been on for a while has she? Are you there Colditz??

I'm really stealing myself for a gain this week.

Jem27 · 03/11/2009 15:51

Well done, sounds like everyone has lost this week.

Power pramming sounds good, although it was tipping it down today so I havent moved too far from the sofa to be honest. Might do some energetic hoovering later, or walk to the pub this evening when Im meeting a friend - just have to make sure I dont have big glasses of wine and undo the good work of the walk....

bigTillyMint · 03/11/2009 16:47

LOL! I put BigTillyMint because someone had already taken TillyMint, not because I was huge

I should be doing some energetic hoovering right now - the stairs and landing are a mess!

That's a shame SGM - but you're sounding very positive!

HerMomminess · 04/11/2009 10:40

Oh dear...wagamama's might be my undoing.Any idea how many points for their udon noodle dishes? What would be best-keeping in mind need to be able to eat with 1 hand while bf-ing.

Hang in there SGM!

No exercise yet for me this week

Good luck all.

bigTillyMint · 04/11/2009 11:24

Have you got the eatout book - it might be in there?

I just tried to find eating out points on the WW site, but I can't find anything about eating out - surely it's online too?
