Morning all

Hope you all got a good night's sleep. We did Thanks to what Sazzles said last time I saw her, about the 3pm bottle she gave E being important to her sleeping, I started trying it and shuffling meals about. Lunch at 12.30 then nap, 3.30 5oz of ebm dinner at 4.30/5, night bottle starts at 6.30 downstairs and is finished at 7ish in our bed then into her bed after stories and songs and forthe last 4 nights that has been it until 5.30 or 6.

It's a lovely day ouside and have hung out a load of washing already. DH off to work in 10mins.

DD has started walking a bit more she walked across the patio yesterday and a bit other places but refuses to do it unless she wants to. I did catch her on camera the first time she did.

ooh she smells (again)

Oh god I have got weighed this morning and it is Not Good News It definitely must be water retention due to an excess of wheat consumed as I didn't eat that much I even let some filo prawns and jalapenos with cream cheese go to waste rather than just eat them for the sake of it last night

I also spent two hours sorting out crap stuff last night instead of lolling on the sofa, so the lounge looks a bit less like a charity shop today. Will try to keep very active this week and eat very little...

Ladies - I have decided to take some desperate steps to kickstart the weight loss I think I am going to do a couple of wonderful weeks of Herbalife shakes and healthy eating. I think I am in need of a little help to get going.

Sazz - allowed to diet - don't know didn't ask, that way they can't say no! Shakes will be breakfast and lunch then healthy dinner. Am tempted by a few days of shakes only but that would be silly!

HP - Scles are for FRIDAYS ONLY.

hotterpotter · 11/08/2009 09:57

Oops I thought you were steadily losing without even trying? I would personally steer clear of shakes, don't they send your body into shock and make them grab every calorie that does pass your lips? Agree with Sazz, I would rather have some actual food, but if you're sure it's what you want to do then of course we'll support you all the way

Sazzles hope you managed to keep away from the carbs yesterday after your sleepless night. Tiredness is my other downfall (booze is the main one ) and would have had me reaching for toast/biscuits/buns before I enrolled here.

Was good yesterday, and feeling a bit funny peculiar today so won't be eating much. I admit to weighing at least once a day and some of the overindulgence has gone, thank goodness

Hots - I was losing but had a sudden gain of 4lbs following my folks visiting and lots of munchies. Haven't weighed this week yet but am very tempted. I think my tablets might need jacking up a dose as I am feeling a bit crap atm. Will be trying to just be good and ignore the need to eat by replacing it with water.

oops am considering a similar move myself - I've still got a pile of lighterlife sachets left over but am a bit about doing it as DH and I are actually on sodding rare holiday together and doing those restricts a nice lunch somewhere etc - I suppose I could always find an excuse couldn't I

Nooooo Dizzy I agree with Sazz, forget dieting on holiday . You can always consider healthier choices, eg a yummy salad (they do exist!) instead of chips for lunch, or a smaller piece of cake, and get stuck in to weight loss when you're back in normal life.

We have almost certainly decided to go to Majorca on 2 Oct for a week and you can bet your life I will not be worrying too much about what I eat while I'm there. Have 7 weeks and 4 days to get to 11 stone something...

Just 1lb left of my weekend overindulgence, phew. Then it all starts again with DH's birthday on Sunday...

Lovely day to you all. Sazz I hope you manage a slice of DD's birthday cake. C'mon woman, prove you're human

Oh I have been a little bit bad at a meeting buffet although I managed to avoid the crisps I have had a couple of cheesy breadcrumb things and 1.5 rounds of sandwich No biscuits though

Will be very good and only have half of my tea and top up with fruit.

dizzydixies · 13/08/2009 11:45

Hellooooooo

I went to see my personal trainer yesterday and had am amazing work out - I hurt this morning Rice crispies for breakfast, no lunch yet and jacket potato for dinner tonight.

My weigh in yesterday told me I lost 2lb which makes me back down to where I was!

hotterpotter · 13/08/2009 13:40

Dizzy we will let you off because you are on holiday, but remember in future that food is not a comfort, it whispers to you like it is but then stabs you in the back side so glad Hollie is back safe, don't be celebrating with cake now

You have stronger willpower than me Sazz, there is no way I could have resisted a restaurant dessert Glad you managed to rescue a lovely evening from your sleep-deprived day.

Been good here too, swimming again today - 38 lengths in 40 minutes so an improvement on last week. Lots of salad and not much else, although I am falling short on water consumption again and could be carrying a little extra weight tomorrow

Sazz at least you are prepared for another mini-plateau, although if I remember right your last one was followed by a big loss so evened out over 2-3 weeks. Plus you will be getting so toned from all this exercise. That's my next mission, another attempt at some kind of abdominal exercise because my tummy is gross

hotterpotter · 13/08/2009 13:45

X-post Oops, well done on the 2lb. Does this mean you will be leaving the shakes alone for a while?

Bit apprehensive here too as despite a large intake of figs I seem to be swelling up Desperately filling up with water in the hope of some success, probably just means I'll be weeing all night
