Very similar here - down to 12 9lb which is 1.75 down on last week but only 1lb down on the last two. I am surprised too that you've only lost 1.5lb as you have been soooooo good, but no doubt you will have a bigger loss next week to make up for it

My next target is to maintain this weight for two weeks. DS' birthday tomorrow and then DH's birthday next weekend so there is going to be rather a lot of eating and drinking going on

Come on Dizzy you know you want to

There is a fab-smelling uncut white loaf in the kitchen and I can hear it whispering to me to get the butter out of the fridge and dive in I am going to ignore it and have some salad instead

Cake still intact although so it flipping well should be at only 9am.

Have succumbed to one slice of that bread toasted with butter and marmalade but feeling a little delicate after drinking 3/5 of a bottle of wine last night [shandy lightweight]. Will make some attempt to rein in my scoffing today though.

Dizzy good luck with the weigh-in

Sazzles it is perfect barbecue weather Might catch you up again then

1lb off. not great but a start I suppose

oopsacoconut · 08/08/2009 10:56

Dizzy - it's a loss and that is what is important!

I weighed in this morning and the wii fit had an error of sorts I think - it told me I lost 11lb so I got DH on it he shook it first and it worked normally. I then go on again and it asked if I was holding something that weighed 12lbs so we reset it told me I put on 1lb. In my defence I had a piece of toast. a glass of water and 2 cups of tea BEFORE weighing. Which in hindsight was silly so will wait until next Friday to weigh properly.

Hotter - a little bit of cake will do you no harm you have to celebrate all your hard work this time last year.

Sazzles - BBQ is not my weakness but roast chicken is, will have to have some white meat no skin, loads of veg and a little gravy.

I find I eat lots more when we have bread in the house so unless DH wants sarnies I don't buy or make any.

oopsacoconut · 08/08/2009 10:57

forgot to say - well done ladies on the weight loss

Sazz if it makes you feel any better after a good start this morning I've had a halfpacket handful of kettlechips, two mini dairymilks, a double choc chip cookie ortwo and pasta, peas, bacon & parmesean withgarlic&cheesebread for tea

all triggered by stressful day with the kids so no doubt my 1lb off is back and will have brought a friend

been playing tennis & bowling & baseball on the wii with DD1 so does that count?

There must have been something in the air yesterday because I have been very very bad too Cake, wine, sausages, wine, buns, wine, crisps, wine I was even sick which is mortifying as I haven't been sick from booze for about 18 years the worst part is I really didn't actually drink that much, but I am such a shandy-booze these days...

Anyway, today better, have only sinned with cake (OK I have had 3 slices ) and it is all gone now so back on the straight and narrow path to size 14.

Sazzles your evening sounds lots of fun, and am in awe of your morning swim Just remember those 700-odd alories you had left over the other day - they will have gone some way to make up for the salmon en croute

Dizzy 1lb might not seem much but it is a good start. Don't get disheartened, and keep Wii-ing as it is great exercise

Oops how disappointing that the 11lb was a computer glitch , and daft girl for getting weighed after food. I do that sometimes and find it and that I can put on three pounds by eating one bowl of cereal and drinking one cup of tea
