New thread as old kept crashing mine and tits' PCs!

Dont be too jelous, I have put on 1lb now, despite never breaking the diet and doing excerise. I should learn not to weigh myself too often - its just what I altomatically do when I go on the wii fit. Not taking it too seriously though as I know it varies day to day anyway. As long as the general weight is going down then I dont mind!

wonderif · 07/06/2009 13:31

can anyone advise if you havent been to slimming world for a month how much it costs to go back there r two of us so couldnt afford 4.50 x 8 tbh

and it is due to illness that i avent been

Furball · 07/06/2009 13:42

they would just re-join you and I think it's half price atm

They won't charge you 8 weeks.

MamaG · 07/06/2009 17:46

Hi all - was on hols last week, going to go WI n ow but it will NOT be good news...!

OP posts:
MamaG · 07/06/2009 17:49

ouch.

4lbs on

OP posts:
JennyPenny22 · 07/06/2009 19:07

Mama G, if you enjoyed your holiday then thats whats important. The 4lb can soon be lost, We are having an all inclusive week in tennerife in september and I know I will gain but TBH I am not going to worry about it and will make the most of eating everything while I am there!

ProfYaffle · 08/06/2009 14:20

It'll come off quick MamaG. Why is that? Weight we put on quickly like that always seem to come off just as quickly too.

Went clothes shopping today. I seem to be stuck on the cusp of 14 and 16, got some things in each size which is a bit depressing, was hoping I was a 'proper' size 14 by now.

Going to have a flexi day on Thursday which won't help, local posh restuarant has started opening at tea time for families so we've booked ourselves in for a treat after dd1's sports day. Looking forward to it though.

TitsalinaBumsquash · 08/06/2009 15:52

Hi - sorry not been around the past few days, DS is due in hospital for 2 weeks tommorrow and i have been getting things in order. Just routine I.V's nothing serious.

I am just making Gummy Sweets for the kids - its just an excuse to use my MagiMix really.

Not doing to badly, haven't been 100% sticking to it this past few days, i had a very small CremeBrulee day before yesterday, i won't be at wiegh in tommorrow so i will wiegh myself at home. Im hoping to maintain but wouldn't be suprised at a tiny gain

Rialentless · 08/06/2009 20:06

Hi - may I join in? I haven't read through the thread so I don't know if there are many familiar faces (I have been on a couple of SW threads before)

I had lost 5lb, then had 2 weeks stuck. Have just had a stressful week (back from hols/DH been in hospital and had lots of stress with his job etc) so am expecting a gain tomorrow

Am going to a wedding in September and would like to be a bit slimmer (small goals! Ultimate goal is approx 5 stone)

I will try to read some more of the thread over the next couple of days

ProfYaffle · 09/06/2009 09:33

Can I just take a moment to boast please? I went swimming at 6.30am this morning, had a swim then went in the spa for a bit, feeling v smug now

How do you make Gummi sweets Tits? I suspect it involves gelatine and is a bit complicated.

Ria - I do recognise your name, not sure if it's from the SW threads or maybe elsewhere on mn.

AuntieMaggie · 09/06/2009 11:52

Hi all and welcome newbies

I have a big goal too Ria s don't be so

I have fallen off the wagon and need to get back on again TODAY. (But the dominos and othe stuff was so lovely.... Ahem )

Anyway, going camping tomorrow so need to be good and take stuff with me...any ideas?

nikkid21 · 09/06/2009 14:29

camping food that I always take -

green - couscous, pasta n sauce, oat so simple sachets

RED - sausage bacon & eggs for red days. Steak and salmon for on the BBQ. I then buy a few sald bits while trying not to succumb to camping garlic bread. (take a garlic baguette, break into the individual slices and fry in a pan in the garlic butter )

Have been lurking on here for a while. Am stil at target one year on and finding that if I put a couple of pounds on one week I can get it straight off the next by going back to SW basics. I do have to go to group at least once every 2 weeks otherwise I do slip and the weight creeps on.

nikkid21 · 09/06/2009 14:30

salad no sald

MissGreatBritain · 09/06/2009 14:50

Hi - does anyone have the online password for this week please? Forgot to check it when I went to weigh-in. Many thanks.

AuntieMaggie · 09/06/2009 17:59

I hadn't thought of cous cous - thanks nikki

I got my syn free morrison sausages already, so will get some bacon and eggs. And plenty of fruit and salad!

I'm a bit down atm (money problems) so am trying not to eat junk and to spend wisely on healthy food!

Rialentless · 09/06/2009 18:05

which M'sons sausages are syn free? I don't eat red very often, but it's nice to have a f ry-up!

I have just had a HUGE helping of veggie jambalaya. It was delish, one of the nicest ever SW recipes I've cooked (though I used quorn sausages instead of pieces as that's all I had in)

amazingly (despite nearly eating my body-weight in Thai sweet chilli sensations and houmous and pitta this week) I have lost a pound so

thanks for the welcome

I recognise your name too Prof, I usually stick to PN and big slim, but sometimes have a bit of a "posting splurge"! was it couch potato to 5k? I failed

AuntieMaggie · 09/06/2009 18:10

The low fat ones - they are a bit dry but can't go wrong with bacon and ketchup in a sandwich

MissGreatBritain · 09/06/2009 19:50

Anyone know the password? Or can anyone tell me how many syns in a meringue please?

ProfYaffle · 10/06/2009 06:22

I can't remember where it's from Ria, I did peep into Couch Potato at one point but not sure if I posted. I did complete a Race for Life but twisted my ankle in the process and haven't done any running for a month or so now.

I love the Morrisons sausages, nice with a runny egg or ketchup.

ProfYaffle · 10/06/2009 06:23

Sorry, forgot MissGB, merangue nests are 3 syns, I had one yesterday with Total yoghurt, strawberries and cherries. Yummy.

LumpyChump · 10/06/2009 14:34

Hello all

Just checking in to say I'm back on it - big time.

Super focused and really want to shift this weight now.

Having a week of red days and for someone who doesn't usually do red days, I'm quite enjoying them.

Must get new mag too.

Hope this focused feeling with stay

Rialentless · 10/06/2009 16:24

does anyone have a nice coleslaw recipe that is as good as "proper" coleslaw? Having friends over on Friday and DH fancies a BBQ

TIA

TitsalinaBumsquash · 10/06/2009 17:02

Hi all.

I am really run down today, im tired, spotty, my hair is greasey and i feel like crap.

I spent the night in the hospital with DS for some routine meds and got no slepp becuase of the bastard sat's montior and the iv pump beeping constantly.

I have been grazing today, nothing to bad except a bit of butter on my toast.

I am having the night off for a takeaway, i am not cooking, i know the sensible thing would be to sadle back up and eat a healthy Salad but its not going to happen untill i have slept and bathed and relaxed.

I know my boys wont go to bed nicely tonight as the last several days they have been a nightmare getting to bed.

I could cry - i feel so low.

But hey hum back on it tommorrow.

ProfYaffle · 10/06/2009 17:09

Tits - feck it, sometimes Sw just doesn't matter Enjoy your take away, crack open a bottle of something chilled and white too. Plenty of time to get back in the saddle, for now just be kind to yourself.

ProfYaffle · 10/06/2009 17:09

Hope your ds is ok too, how is he?
