New thread for us to waffle on and moan about baby fat, without boring the others...and hopefully drop a few pounds along the way!

I am currently 11 stone - 69.8 kg
Want to be pre preg weight of 59 kg, about 9 stone 4 i think.

If everyone posts stats maybe i can do a bisou style list. (don't post weights if you don't want to! amount to lose will do!)

Weigh in on Mondays?

Don't go PMK. I think you should stay here and keep it up. I think it's quite important to get that last bit off. I didn't get rid of the last 5kg then just before I got pregnant I put on a few more and now I've got that and the pregnancy weight to lose. So def important to get rid of it.

Veggiemummy · 01/04/2009 10:59

Sooooo tired BF and exercise are difficult to mix should have remembered from last time.

LadyThompson · 01/04/2009 11:22

I haven't lost any this week but haven't been able to exercise because of dodgy legs. But I should be able to no so have no excuse for next week. I need to step it up.

PMK, don't let jealous people get you down. I can remember wanting to lose half a stone once (when I was really slim anyway) and it really bugged me. Doesn't matter how much or how little you have to lose on here (and I have tons) - we can still all cheer each other on.

Daisy, you have done really well.

I know I say this every week but I must try harder!

pmk1 · 01/04/2009 12:20

Veggie, Nolda, and Lady thanks - I won't avoid the thread.... true what you say Veggie - a friend said to me whatever you do, lose it all before getting pregnant again - she didn't - and is finding it really hard now after the second and it was only a small amount too, but one thing lead to another... plus I think i'm the only one on our thread(s)who wants to get preg again without waiting too long....

kayzr · 01/04/2009 12:33

PMK, I don't really want to wait that long either. But DH wants to wait.

I didn't lose the weight after having DS1 and now I am struggling.

Lots of my friends moan about me being on a diet but I am not happy with my weight. I think weight is very personal. I know a couple of ladies in RL who would love to be my weight but I obviously hate it.

pmk1 · 01/04/2009 16:13

kayz a 3rd - you're brave! How much more did you need to lose before you got pregnant the 2nd time?

kayzr · 01/04/2009 17:50

About 4 stone I was very very niave and thought it would just come off after having DS1, so I never really bothered. Then I realised it wasn't budging and I had put on another stone. So I joined WW and it was going well and then we decided we wanted another baby.

I lost about 1 stone 7lbs when DS2 was born as he was such a big baby. So I am going to get back down to a weight I am happy with before we start trying for a 3rd.

pmk1 · 04/04/2009 07:57

good plan Kayz and you're nice and young if my memory serves me? don't have to worry about biological clocks and things.... but not only that, i've always wanted babies close together in age....

kayzr · 04/04/2009 09:02

I'm 23 on the 23rd April. I do feel much older though as most of my friends go out every weekend and I'm at home with my DH and DCS. But I wouldn't have it any other way(apart from a bit thinner)

I did 30 minutes of exercise dvd today. It was very good but very tiring.

SummerLightning · 05/04/2009 14:05

Hi all, sorry been away this week not had chance to update stuff... Will try and do tonight!

pmk You should definitely stay around....we may all have different amounts to lose but doesn't mean it's not just as important for those of us who've got a bit to lose if you see what I mean? I think I have about the same amount left to lose as you actually now. And we weigh almost the same (except you are about a foot taller than me, haha)

I am determined to lose the last few kgs quite quickly so it's super healthy, plus exercise, plus for once I mean it when I say LESS BEER.

kayz just wanted to say sorry for mentioning fish and chips on your Whitby facebook status! I realised after I wrote it that you would not be having F&Cs, but I had got so excited at the idea of Whitby fish and chips I had written the post before thinking.

pmk when you say soon for another one, how soon? I was told not a good idea after c-section to get pg for 9 months? But I have a friend who had c-section who got pg at 6 montsh and was fine. I am thinking quite soon too (but not 6 months soon!)

Am posting today so I don't forget tomorrow, I have lost another 3lb and am v pleased with mysel. I love doing WW it really does work for me kayz how's it going? Its your first week isn't it? My WW leader actually gave me a stone as I have lost a stone not sure what I'm suppossed to do with it though!!

Have just been for a swim and a sauna and am determined to lose a couple more pound before next weeks holiday. We are going All Inclusive and I fear that I might go mad and undo all my hard work!

SummerLightning · 05/04/2009 16:39

cor daisy ...nice work.
Are you done when you have lost a couple more lbs or have you got more to go.
kayz I hope your first ww week goes well.

daisydora · 05/04/2009 17:47

oh summer I wish, got about another stone and a half to my goal weight. Although another stone and I'll be happy! But I reckon when I stop bf I'll lose about 2 stone - my boobs are enormous

pmk1 · 06/04/2009 08:29

64.1 so down almost a kg however very cheerful weekend so think i'm dehydrated!

SL would like to get preg in later part of this year. GP said, after section providing there was no complication, 6 months totally fine, 12 months optimal, but actually said 3 months not disasterous, but not encouraged! I healed very fast and was up and about at home the next day so he was advising based on my situation etc. Have no intention of getting preg before 6 months, however not taking bc either. Ideally would like to have another before turning 36 which is 09/10 so need to get bun in by Jan latest, which is a year anyway! Totally aware things don't always go to plan!

EffiePerine · 06/04/2009 08:35

72.5 again, so put on a lb - sigh.

Veggiemummy · 06/04/2009 09:05

79.5kg so I don't bother trying to be careful with my diet and I stay the same. Well it doesn't make me feel so dispondant, but not helping lose weight. I'm thinking of starting this online food diary thing. DH has found one a friend did that she said helped after having her babies so will give it a go.

KinderEggKayzr · 06/04/2009 09:10

Would it be ok if I posted my weight on Thursdays because that is when I am at WW?

SummerLightning · 06/04/2009 09:26

pmk that is interesting to know re sections. I am on the mini-pill at the moment, but knowing how I can sometimes forget pills or not realise that you aren't meant to have a week long gap in the middle (oops), accidents can happen! oh and well done on the weight loss even if it is booze induced.
I am 63.5 today! Hooray, v happy as I didn't really diet much this week.
veggie I think a food diary is a great idea, if you can post the link I would like to do that as well as I would like to seriously shift the last few kg before wedding at the beginning of may. Sorry you haven't lost this week.

OP posts:
SummerLightning · 06/04/2009 09:27

Oh and i updated the spreadsheet! Sorry I hadn't done for a while.
kayz good luck for thursday.

OP posts:
Veggiemummy · 06/04/2009 09:33

Of course Kayz no worries.

Well it looks like no one has put on so far. Well done Daisy and you should enjoy your holiday but just be mindful of what you are eating. My latest thing is when I choose food I decide whether it's worth the calories, and if I think it is but then taste it and decide it's not I leave it. Unless it's my dinner of course but was more talking about sweets really. But just remember it is your holidays which you should enjoy.

KinderEggKayzr · 06/04/2009 09:36

I actually think my diet is going very well. I am not eating anything crap and having much small portions. Also I have just got into a pair of small size 16 skinny jeans. I might not be able to breathe but they are done up.

pmk1 · 06/04/2009 09:58

I say we weigh in on Fridays.... otherwise weekends are miserable for those who are really watching the diet strictly...

SummerLightning · 06/04/2009 10:03

I'm always lighter after the weekend. Prob cos I do more exercise, and have no life!
weighing on Friday is fine by me though.

OP posts:
Nolda · 06/04/2009 10:28

Well done to the losers, especially Daisy.

I don't mind which day we weigh, whatever is best for everyone else.

I weigh 78.1kg today, so that's a loss of 500g I think. I'm very pleased with that because I haven't been able to do much exercise as my back is playing up. Too much lifting stroppy toddler I think.

Well done on the jeans Kayz it's such a boost to be able to get into more clothes isn't it?

SybilFaulty · 06/04/2009 13:43

Well done to all the losers. I have lost 2.5lbs (but I didn't go to fatties' last week, so it's 2 weeks' worth)bso have lost 17lbs in total. Only 25lb to go. I'll feel happiest when I am over half way - so 5 more lbs.

Thanks for the spreadsheet Summer. I'll stick to the weigh in on mondays if that's OK, as I don't have scales at home and the only fatties' meeting I can realistically do is on a monday.

Good week, girls.
