New thread for us to waffle on and moan about baby fat, without boring the others...and hopefully drop a few pounds along the way!

I am currently 11 stone - 69.8 kg
Want to be pre preg weight of 59 kg, about 9 stone 4 i think.

If everyone posts stats maybe i can do a bisou style list. (don't post weights if you don't want to! amount to lose will do!)

Weigh in on Mondays?

Boo Hiss!!!

I have put on 2lbs I was expecting it though as I normally put the weight back on when I have been ill.

Nolda · 09/03/2009 08:22

How annoying, Kayz.

I've lost a grand total of 400g this week. I really need to do some exercise!

daisydora · 09/03/2009 08:37

Morning...well I've lost 3lb. Hooray thats 1/2 stone in 2 weeks I'm very

Not sure this week will be as good. I've not done any swimming as I feel rotten at the mo, and I've had 2 take aways this weekend because I couldn't be bothered to cook

Still thats a crisis to look forward to next week.......

kayzr · 09/03/2009 08:49

Well done Nolda and Daisy!!

SummerLightning · 09/03/2009 09:01

Well I have lost zilch this week but considering I didn't weigh myself until Thursday last week not really surprising.
Will try and go for a good loss next week!

DS going mental, he has to have his injections in 15 mins (doctors very close!) god knows what he's going to be like after them! I've never seen him like this before, just put him down for a couple of minutes as nothing I do is helping ... Maybe he is a genius baby and understands that he has injections coming up!!
Right off to cuddle him.

SummerLightning · 09/03/2009 09:03

Oh, he's shut up!
I was also going to say that i have the bike trailer now, we took it out over the weekend and it was great, and DS loved it! I shall try and put some piccies on my profile later.
He's off again! See you later!
Oh and well done to Nolda and Daisy!
Bummer kayz still you still have a loss overall after the ill week which is good.

Veggiemummy · 10/03/2009 20:27

Hello just bookmarking myself haven't weighed in yet will do tomorrow am a bit scared.

Veggiemummy · 10/03/2009 20:54

I used to live cycling uphill not sure why I think I like the feeling in my legs and watching as the summit got closer and closer.

LadyThompson · 11/03/2009 08:38

I am 85kg. I think this means I have lost 200g, or perhaps 100. Absolutely pathetic, given that I do row every week day. Mind you, the weekend was a bit boozy so I guess that's it. Sybil and Daisy are doing absolutely brilliantly though! Well done girls! I have decided to follow the GI Diet as much as poss as it helped my DP shed a load of weight two or three years ago. Hmm, we'll see. And we are going to try playing badminton once a week as well.

rosmerta · 11/03/2009 10:19

Well done Sybil & Daisy!

I've put 1lb back on . I just can't seem to fit in regular exercise which I know is how I lose weight more easily.

Veggiemummy · 11/03/2009 11:54

Well weight this morning is 79.6kg which I think is about the same Maya on my Wii fit says I have my physical challenge today which I think is my kind of 2 week check up to see if I'm getting fitter. But am happy as considering I spent last week eating very high fat creamy high carb german food (oh those pretzels) I should by rights be heavier. Was expecting to be over 80kg.

Veggiemummy · 11/03/2009 11:57

Oh and thumbs up to the GI diet Lady a very healthy and effective way to diet. Mmmm...I think we have a book on it somewhere as I studied it as it is what we use for diabetics in Australia maybe it would help me???? Thanks for reminding me of it Lady.

kayzr · 14/03/2009 18:54

I've ordered a GI diet book and I'm hoping it will help. My brother goes to the gym so I might start going too.

Thanks again Summer well D day tomorrow. I have done loads more exercise this week so better have lost something. Have found my sports bra so this has been helpful for being a little more vigorous but I think I need something to stop my belly wobbling, it was making slapping noises the other day. Good luck to everyone for weight tomorrow.

Kayz with your knee have you been referred to physio, they would help sort it and help with what sort of exercises you can do.

EffiePerine · 16/03/2009 07:42

STILL 74

think may be something to do with going on the mini-pill as well as food...

must try harder

kayzr · 16/03/2009 07:53

Morning,

I have stayed the same this week. I am a bit annoyed as I have been doing more exercise.

Veggie, I have been but they are very busy and my appointment is the 14th April. So ages away.

Nolda · 16/03/2009 08:45

Bad luck Effie and Kayz. I hope you have better luck this week.

Having not lost much in the last few weeks I did make an effort to do more exercise last week and now weigh 79kg which is a loss of 1.1kg, I think. I'm delighted to have broken the 80kg barrier at last!

Veggie, you did make me laugh with the belly slapping noises. I'm just the same, I just turn the music up on the exercise DVD .

Veggiemummy · 16/03/2009 09:51

Oh bugger 80kg I've been exercising too. Right salads for me this week.

That's a long time to wait Kayz, when you do see them Kayz tell them your wanting to lose weight and so what you can safely do with your knee.

SybilFaulty · 16/03/2009 11:14

Well done, Nolda, and bad luck to everyone else. I'm in the bad luck camp too as I've put on 1/2lb. Am livid with myself but need to channel the rage into exercise rather than the fridge.

Summer, thanks for the spreadsheet info. Could I be a pain in the neck and alter my amounts please? I have lost 13.5 lbs and have another 28.5 to go (oh the sodding halves! How annoying!)

Good luck for this week everyone. At leasr it's sunny here so feel like more salad and less stodge. THere's always the lure of the wineglass though which is my downfall.
