Other thread too big.

Right, having lost not one single ounce over the last 4 weeks due to over-consumption of alcohol, I am starting again. I promised you all a new thread, so here it is.

Remeber:

Exercise EVERY DAY. walking, cycling, running, swimming - whatever - JUST MOVE YOUR HARRIS!

MEASUREMENTS can say more than weight. I have lost nothing, but mu clothes are actually looser due to toning up.

Are we up for another challenge for September?

I am giving up booze until the last weekend of September as I drank too much in July and August - so I am going to go for the 7lbs in a month again.

Well done to those who have managed to lose a bit last month!

All welcome Imnot

Piffle, I just checked on Fitday and "Sexual activity, active, vigorous effort" only burns 14 calories per 10 minutes.

I wouldn't bother

Jahan · 04/09/2008 07:52

Lol Sputnik. 14cals per 10mins is not much, is it?

Hi Imnotok. You'll find lots of support here. I think most of us want to lose 2 stones

I was too tired to exercise yesterday so I really need to do some today.
Food was ok. I didn't go over my 1250 cals.

SheikYerbouti · 04/09/2008 08:29

Hello all. 14 cals per 10 mins? It's not even worth it. On the nights that I have relented to DP's advances, I have told myself that I'll be burning calories, now I know that I'm going to feign sleep until he leaves me alone.

Anyway, I wasn't vg yesterday. It wasn't a complete disaster, but not great either. I am off to soft play to meet a mate later, so I will probably end up getting stressed and eating cake

hello the lot of you

is it bedtime yet?

LisaLessLumpy · 04/09/2008 10:52

Morning all

I'm, with you sheiki, 14 cals is hardly worth the effort

I have been good all week so far - Not gone over 1250 cals any day, not managed any exercise other than usual day to day activities but that changes as of monday when both boys will be at nursery at least two mornings a week so that will be my exercise time

I have my siL's wedding on saturday so at least I can weigh in before then go mad and then make it up all week

Sputnik · 04/09/2008 12:31

Ladies I just survived an hour of aerobics
I think I need a sports bra though.

I only manage if DS is napping and I can park DD on the internet for an hour though. Luckily she's very happy to do that. Next week she'll be back at preschool and in october DS starts at nursery, hopefully it'll be easier and I'll have more choice what to do.

Piffle I am nicking your lunch idea from yesterday.

Piffle · 04/09/2008 13:31

I had it again today Sputnik
Tis a great GI recipe I was given ages ago.
I walked into town today and back at good pace so had half an aero bar -other half for dd who shares so nicely!
Think I am losing more quickly than fitday says I should? Dunno!
No idea where the 2kgs has come off from though measurements are same dp says my tummy smaller so believing him
Having bit more calorific dinner tonight chicken rendang with stirfry veg and rice.
2 chicken thigh fillets 200
Sauce 120
Vegs 90 (sesame oil Ginger chili)
Rice 200
Rice seems high off to dbl check

Well done on HOUR of aerobics

Had 2 glasses of wine last night to get up to 1400 cals
But no more til tomorrow
Will be fish or vegetarian fri sat sun so low cals usually
Feel a bit of a heel on this thread ashave so little to lose compared to some of you I know am moaning about nothing weightwise really but in eye of beholder etc so am staying to annoy y'all anyway

Cappuccino · 04/09/2008 16:32

Just need to wait for dh to get back so I can have a shower.

What will your regime be, Lisa?

LisaLessLumpy · 04/09/2008 21:18

I am intending to do an hours class (whatever is available)at the local leisure centre after I have dropped both boys off, then come home and do at least 40 mins on the Cross trainer, twice a week, and also hopefully 2 x 40 min session on 2 evenings.
