Right, having lost not one single ounce over the last 4 weeks due to over-consumption of alcohol, I am starting again. I promised you all a new thread, so here it is.

Remeber:

Exercise EVERY DAY. walking, cycling, running, swimming - whatever - JUST MOVE YOUR HARRIS!

MEASUREMENTS can say more than weight. I have lost nothing, but mu clothes are actually looser due to toning up.

Are we up for another challenge for September?

I am giving up booze until the last weekend of September as I drank too much in July and August - so I am going to go for the 7lbs in a month again.

Well done to those who have managed to lose a bit last month!

Ok, I'll just cut and paste what she posted (sorry for hijack everyone)

The 1.5 and 3 if in a buggy and she is on her own one hint ....If it has brakes that stick out more than the wheels e.g they do not go sideways then cut them back - or every time she goes to do a bridge the brakes will jam on. Also wheels get stuck in waterbus steps when you go up backwards - very few buggies can go up the bridges forwards !! Apart from that -
Take vaporetto ride up the grand canal they love looking at boats. Get on at the start of the journey so you can bag seats outside - best at the back. Take lift up bell tower - more adapt for 8 and 3 yr old.
If nice weather go to the Lido its flat . At the end of the grand viale turn left toward hosp and there is a big park ( well big for us) with playground. Also the beach is there if she fancies it The other playground is either on Murano or up near the Guglie. bridge but its naf. Other big squares to 'run in' San Polo, Ghetto - esp in pm there are a few children there. No real buggy friendly places to eat - I tend to go in and fold up the thing unless lots of space. If she needs anything specific pls ask away can ramble for hours !!!!

I lost 2 this week, so 8lbs in 2 weeks

am v pleased. Might have a gain or stay same this week as went out last night and got shedded.

Especially LLL for the 2 stone since January, that's really good going.

I haven't been great, but DD goes onto full days at school tomorrow so hopefully I'll get back into an exercise routine. I find I can't really stick to the whole thing unless I'm exercising too. Don't know why this is.

Hey all....

So Im getting my arse back into gear now. Joined a running group few weeks ago so have been doing an hour on a monday night, and 2 half hours in the week. Am losing weight but very slowly it seems although dp says he can def see a change in my thighs and backside

Am going to get back on the situps and have started a food diary as from today.

I am having a prob with when I can fit things in though - during the day Ive got the children, they go to bed at 7 but I dont have a room to exercise in unless I do it in the front room in front of dp and tbh Id feel like a twat lol I guess that leaves mornings but Im already leaving at 6.30am on the half hour run days to drive to meet a new friend for 6.45 and run then. Was thinking maybe if I just run near my house then I could run and situps before dp has to leave for work but that does mean running by myself - I meet my friend at her work and we run there y' see.

Didnt read through the thread but hope youre all good!

Am now 9st 4lb, so don't need to diet anymore as such, just watch it. Thanks for all the help

am 12 days away from Oz
so stressed about leaving dd aged 5 (have ds1 and 2 15 yrs and 18mths but not so worried about them )
Have been drinking too much...
Am stopping from now until I go
Weather shiteous for walking though
Have had mum here and that scuppers plans to exercise as she takes piss muchly
My boob reduction consult moved from last friday to day after I get back from Oz!!!
So target changed and resolve died [shame]

Well done LLL. Hope we can revive this thread. I have been ticking along, but not actually in weight loss mode really.

But I have been sorting out winter clothes as it got cold here, and have had it brought home to me that I am pretty much where I was at the end of last winter. Would really like to go for it again and see some results for xmas.

So, DS is asleep, I am going to do some exercise now

I'm trying to claw way back into good books today
Back for real tomorrow as mum heading off (diet ruiner as she underweight and poorly and needed feeding up)
Weight ok drinking water today, strictly no booze
Doing carbonara for dinner use eggs parmesan no cream or anything
And salad.
Having lunch of quiche ham salad French bread as darling brother birthday today and he up from London as leaves for Australia tomorrow to get married and live
Getting hair done tomorrow yippee so will be determined re dieting

I was crap last week, but managed to only put on 1lb, which is better then nowt - so have lost 7 overall.

Have been good last 2 days though, so fingers crossed I shall get rid of the lb that so ikindly came back to me.
