Other thread too big.

Right, having lost not one single ounce over the last 4 weeks due to over-consumption of alcohol, I am starting again. I promised you all a new thread, so here it is.

Remeber:

Exercise EVERY DAY. walking, cycling, running, swimming - whatever - JUST MOVE YOUR HARRIS!

MEASUREMENTS can say more than weight. I have lost nothing, but mu clothes are actually looser due to toning up.

Are we up for another challenge for September?

I am giving up booze until the last weekend of September as I drank too much in July and August - so I am going to go for the 7lbs in a month again.

Well done to those who have managed to lose a bit last month!

Does anyone know how to work out calories in wine? I have discovered that Sainsbury makes some very palatable, relatively low alcohol wine - the brand name is 10%.

The rose, in particular, is very pleasant. I'm assuming that if it's lower in alcohol it will also be lower in calories, but is this true? And if so, how can we work out how many calories per glass?

Stormy, sadly, it's not true

Sorry I have been absent from this thread (again) Well......

I AM STILL THE SAME FUCKING WEIGHT AS WHEN I STARTED

I cannot seem to budge my weight, despite upping my exercise and eating sensibly. It just won't come off and I want to cry. I have been really good this week.

Have just done 45 mins on wii fit. Am still obese. I still have to look of a pepperpot, and I still have a big saggy belly and bingo wings

Harumph

I alos think I should step away from this thread, given that most of you seem to be around a size 10 and that I don;t come on here v often anyway.

Oooo, I think I might want to join

I went for a run today [proud] so am full of good intentions

I don't drink, don't eat meat, barely any dairy or eggs and I walk a lot yet my extra lbs still won't shift. I want to be able to run for a bus without keeling over half way there. And for my tummy not to stick out. And get rid of the muffin top. Not much to ask, is it?

But I am very lazy and find lots of excuses

SuperBunny · 13/09/2008 06:55

Oh no, I sign up and Sheik wants to leave

Piffle · 13/09/2008 08:18

sheik
Fgs
Don't be melodramatic
I am just 400gms lighter despite losing 2kgs initially
Keep on keeping on

PinkButterfly · 13/09/2008 09:30

well done on ur 4lb loss storm!!!

LisaLessLumpy · 13/09/2008 11:32

Sheiky - I am 11st 3 - size 14 as of this morning, put a pound back on after the two lost last week I have been crap this week though, its AF week and I have eaten cake, chocolate and takeaways and have done no exercise will have to be good this week although have had three slices of toast and spread already this morning

I WILL DO EXERCISE THIS WEEK.

Also don't be too disheartened, if you have been good last week, be good this week too and you will show a loss at next weigh in, sometimes your body just takes time to catch up. I stayed the same for 3 weeks running albeit being good, the following week I lost 3lb. Please don't go, we are there for you, YOU WILL DO IT

Storm - I have an elliptical trainer and it is fabarooney. I haven't been on it for a couple of weeks granted, but I will be using it again this week

BecauseImWorthIt · 13/09/2008 11:40

Sheik - it doesn't matter what size any of us is, we're all overweight and trying to diet to reach a preferred weight.

Don't go away, please!

I've been putting off joining here, but I popped the button on my favourite trousers this morning (bending to empty the washing machine.

It is time.

I love wine too much, and cheese, and baked potatoes. But I will try.

I'm hoping increased exercise rather than changing my diet will do the trick.

I am still heavier than all of you

Anyway. walked into town this morning, and sat in the cinema and ate Minstrels due to feeling depressed about being a biffa

With behaviour like that, plus the fact that I have lost no weight in 6 weeks, I am hardly inspiring anyone
