Furball · 04/01/2005 20:17

Right, Day 1

Breakfast = 2oz porridge made with water and a splash of milk added to top.

Lunch = Huge bowl of homemade veg soup with, 1 x slice of bread (sorry boss!)

Dinner = half WW pizza with small portion of homemade potato wedges.

Snack = a banana, an apple and 3 (I know) shortbread biscuits.

Drinks = A few caffine free coffees (OK, 4)and about 6 glasses water.

Frizbe · 04/01/2005 20:21

I think I need to ditch the bread.....4 normal slices today.....must do better tomorrow!

Frizbe · 04/01/2005 21:28

and more to the point, need to slap dh, as he's just waved a full new box of chocs at me, which he's now wading his way thru.....

PuffTheMagicDragon · 05/01/2005 00:37

Did my usual Tuesday weigh in (missed 2 over Xmas and New Year) and have put on 4 lbs - not as bad as I thought. Made myself a veg soup mountain which will keep me going for the next 2 days.

GreatBigFatHeiferEnid · 05/01/2005 08:49

Hulababy · 05/01/2005 09:27

Back to school for me today, so back to salad (with olives and sundried tomatoes today ), WW fromage frais for dessert. Had an apple for breakfast. Didn't bother with the green tea this morning!

I was half a pound lighter this morning, than yesterday. But my proper weigh in day is Friday.

Sonnet · 05/01/2005 09:57

Caught up on this thread since yesterday and have been alternating between LOL and being motivated by the healthy sounding food (some) of you are eating - sea bass and rice sounded yummy...

Weighed myself -hmm....weigh 9st7.5 so have put on 2.5lbs over Xmas/New year!!. I am only 5ft 2 and am happy at 8st 4 tops SO needs to loose 17 and a half pounds by June (the start of summer!)- hope you lot can keep me motivated.
Had branflakes, strawberries and a bananna for breakfast. Got small roll with cheese and pickle (yeah I know CHEESE) but trying to eat up left overs to economise - and economy is winning at the moment....Got hot chicken salad planned for tonight! and NO WINE!!.

dietingdottee · 05/01/2005 09:59

Ok - went on the scales this morning after yesterday's pig-out .... 13st 5lbs ... that is 2lb up over Christmas.

Recycling lorry's just pick up all the bottles - I drank that much!

Taking deccies down and doing ironing - keeping occupied ... weight can only get better (lesser)!

lowcalCOD · 05/01/2005 11:55

right fat porkers
How are we all today?( saysin a nnoyinf marjorie voice) Must be careful as thats my mUm's name!

welcome to all newgirls
have you all done your homework?

gingerbear · 05/01/2005 12:13

stuck to it yesterday, this am started off with porridge again. It is great - no mid am pangs for snacks. Can highly recommend porridge for brekky.

Lunch - will be a salad in the canteen.

Will do baked spud and chicken casserole tonight (with a mountain of veg)

DH took mince pies and some other left over christmas goodies to work this morning, I haven't even looked at the biscuits that folk have brought into the office today.

Are we weighing in?

nasa · 05/01/2005 12:16

10 6 on scales today so will weigh in next week and report - did alright yesterday but was starving hungry
today had rice krispies for breaky and just had ww beans on one slice of bread

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 05/01/2005 12:18

I have walked ds to school, walked for at least 2 miles in the woods and only eaten an apple, 100g of smoked salmon and a snack a jack so far. I am going off booze until the 14 Feb. I miss butter already.

weightwatchingwaterwitch · 05/01/2005 12:19

Having lentil hot pot tonight, which is just veg and lentils basically. May buy scales soon.

gingerbear · 05/01/2005 12:35

[go-to-top-of-class-and-hand-out-pencils-emoticon]

But Mrs Lowcal, tis a wee spud, and I don't need butter when I put gravy from casserole on (recipe tis from my low fat cookbook btw)
And spud will stop me craving between 8-10pm evil hours....

And I hate swede (shock used in lieu of throwing up emoticon)

lowcalCOD · 05/01/2005 12:54

no I ban the spud

Kittypickle · 05/01/2005 13:04

I survived DD's nightmare party without one single chip passing my lips. Nearly lost the plot and considered Chow Mein from the takeway but found some self control at the last minute. Todays going well so far (cereal, turkey and salad) and off to join WW tonight.

lowcalCOD · 05/01/2005 13:08
