8 Week Accountability

Anyone want to do an 8 week accountability thread? It's 8 weeks today until Christmas and I'm hoping to lose a stone. That's 1.75lbs a week.
I've got 3 stone to lose in total. I'm going to skip breakfast, cut out snacks and up my steps to 10k a day (average currently 5k).

I'm lucky that I'm not a snacker. I think it's because when we were kids, we only had our 3 meals and that was it. Even now, if I'm hungry after tea, I won't snack - weird I know 🤣

@Amdone123 , its not even been snacking, its been constant grazing , a biscuit here, a chocolate there, piece of bacon or a sausage or fried bread as Im darting in and out the kitchen at work

I know whats the cause of it, I started to get lazy and started to buy processed foods again, using a jar of sauce, shop bought yoghurts etc , may not sound major but they are so incredibly sweet it triggered me. As long as I can hold off of those, the healthier foods satisfy me and stop the grazing. And I made a big mistake buying those low cal high fibre bars which I thought would be handy to nibble if I wanted something sweet, started on those and the sweet tooth just grew. Dumped the lot down the food bank today

sunday - 90.4kg
absolutely awful today, discovered fanta zero and 99% dark chocolate so have been on a bit of a binge. Tomorrow the scales will be awful.

aim this week is to get under 90! Lets go 😁😁😁

I wonder if its things like shop bought yoghurt that triggers me too. Hmmm food for thought there. But I can even binge on dried fruits so I think I just need to be strict on meal times and have a cut off time on too.

I am just a constant snacker. Really struggling to break that trend

Was out yesterday so not great calorie wise, but I'm not too hungover so I'm pleased about that. It means I won't eat the fridge.
Breakfast was an omelette on low calorie bread - hate this type of bread, dh buys it !
Tea will be pork fried rice, carrots Asian style ( I'll make that up as I go along) and samosas, spring rolls.
I'm going to have 5 really good days, before weigh in Saturday.

@Amdone123 what bread do you get? I just get whatever I like and have once slice rather than two. I found a honey soaked seeded bread in Aldi. Really nice and I have one slice its under 150 calories 😁😁😁. I also get sandwich thins. I tried to go for a healthier bread like rye bread. That just did not work for me at all.

@Clomid1 I like aldi sourdough bread. Or anything with grains in. Dh buys that Danish loaf - so flimsy !
I don't really like sandwich thins - I like bagel thins though.
Good idea to have 1 instead of 2 !

I think I need to write down food intake again:

today
breakfast : 1 slice of aldi honey soaked seeded bloomer 😁😁😁 plus peanut butter, 1 apple, 1 cup of tea with sweetner, 2 dates
snack : 4 crackers

have not had any other meals yet.

@Clomid1 I think it's normal to feel a bit demotivated sometimes. Don't think you won't get there - you will. It just takes time.
You've taken the first step, let the rest follow at a steady pace.
It does help to write it down. I actually haven't done that in a long time.

I'm fed up today too. Dreadful night's sleep, raining cats n dogs and house is a mess!
I'm going to smile at work, appear enthusiastic, come home, shower, bed 💯

I'm still 13st today, so not exactly what I wanted but I'm ok with it.
I'll just keep trying.
Hope you both have good weigh ins !

Holiday 1 week today. I suppose if I were super strict I could lose some pounds but I'm at a family gathering today and tomorrow we'll probably eat out. ❤️
Monday - Friday, I could try harder.

I am 89.2kg. Finally below 90! Have reached milestone 1 which means I am 10% of the way to my final goal weight 😁😁.

this has motivated me to keep going

Happy Monday !
I had quite a good weekend - I didn't drink much, so 12st 13 yesterday and today. Basically, if I don't drink, I lose weight.
6lb to lose by Saturday is neither doable nor realistic, but I'll try to get a couple of pounds off.

Just had a lovely brunch. 2 x wholemeal pitta, tomato puree, a little cheese, Italian herbs and mushrooms and tomatoes. Oh, and a poached egg.

Not sure what's for tea, might do jacket potato wedges. Awful weather here - it's like winter.

Morning @Clomid1 and @suki1964 , hope you're both OK.
I've had a bad few days. Had to put my beautiful dog to sleep on Tuesday. I wouldn't say I've eaten badly - I've actually been feeling sick - but I've drank. Not that I'm bothered.

2 days til I go away. I won't be at target but that's OK.
Holiday will involve a lot of walking, reading, probably crying (!!!), but a change of scenery is what I need. ❤️

are you going away today? Hope you have a lovely holiday and when you come back a fresh start for a new target.

I had a few bad days to. Scales weren’t too bad weighing in at 88.6kg. Could have done better if I didn’t have a late night feast yesterday

@Clomid1 he'd been deteriorating slowly over the last 6 months, but he was eating and happy enough. But Sunday I just knew he'd taken a turn for the worse. I knew it was the end. I wish he were still here - I'm not coping too well, but I'll have to give it time.
Keep trying with your plan - you'll get there.

Yes, on holiday. Just landed in Malaga actually - waiting for my taxi ☀
