@Clomid1 , you are right, weighing daily does fluctuate wildly. I dont weigh daily, Im the kind of person that sees a pound gain ( which could just mean Ive not been to the loo, or am retaining fluids, not enough sleep etc) as a trigger to not eat. I know this about me so I dont weigh daily, just twice a week and use the Saturday morning as my target weight, the one which I hope has dropped. The Wednesday one is just a general "hmm how bad has the weekend been" look, just to see if I need to lay off the treats ( booze usually ) for the rest of the week
Yeah it can be hard around cake :) Yesterday was really hard as the pastry chef, not only made for the staff chocolate brownies smothered in mini eggs, she bought in the left overs from her egg hunt. Luckily we were just too busy so I didnt reach for them. I did pick up once or twice, but put them back. I realised I was suffering from FOMO so I took a few and dished them out to some children. And I did bring a brownie home - for DH. I cut a tiny sliver for me off it - just for quality control purpose you understand :)
@Amdone123 , Well done staying the same, so not easy at Easter. I had a 1/2 pound gain this Saturday, I also had the kids and grandkids here for easter so the house will filled with crap which isnt usually here. I did try not to go too mad and stuck to my basic meals , pizza and salad on the Saturday -avoided the chips and garlic bread, and a roast chicken dinner on Sunday but a lot of alcohol was consumed
Then yesterday was just hell on earth. Had an early shift and we were just hammered. Doors opened at 10am and we had a queue 30/40 deep for the whole four hours I was in. Had 12k steps done before I left :) Came home with my sinuses playing up, head thumping, nose dripping, and so tired and ratty. So alcohol was involved, which I was wanting to avoid the rest of the week. Still the salmon was lovely, served with salad ( and its ruddy freezing here, more stew and dumpling weather ) . But have had a poor nights sleep and still not feeling on top of things
But hey ho, its only Tuesday, onwards and upwards :)
