I've really let myself go and I am sick of feeling so bad.

Starting tomorrow.

Good morning! I'm in. I've been doing well but basically I've lost it & destroyed months of hard work over 4 weeks. Feel really bloated & a bit of a mess.
I've just taken the vitamins & I'm going to try to exercise a bit every day & eat sensibly.
Got fed up last night & spoke to dh about how I was feeling & he genuinely seemed confused & couldn't see any change, bless him. But I can & I'm determined to lose at least 10lb to get back to my 'normal'
Daren't weigh myself, might do in a week or so.
Just got such a nice summer lined up & worried I'll feel so uncomfortable.
Here we go again then!

kwazycupcakes · 15/05/2023 08:04

Morning, can I join please?

My problem is that I love food. I am constantly thinking about the next meal and get enjoyment from food. So I'm planning on trying to replace it with something else that I enjoy. I've started colouring on an evening as that's satisfying and I'm hoping it will stop me reaching for the biscuits.

Good luck everyone!

HappiDaze · 15/05/2023 08:05

Ok for breakfast I'll cut it in half and just have

one slice of bread, no butter and marmalade incl coffee and tea so that's 167 calories

PhoenixArisen · 15/05/2023 08:07

I'm in.
It was a sunny day here yesterday and I saw lots of women in lovely summer dresses. They were all slim and healthy looking. One woman was riding her bike wearing a pretty casual dress.
It's really motivated me to aim for looking good in a dress. I'm short so I'll never have that elegance of these willowy women but I'd like to not look round!

I'm giving up processed sugar, intermittent fasting, doing a short workout daily and going for an after dinner walk.

JimiChoux · 15/05/2023 08:18

@onthefence23 sorry to read about the bereavement, that's not easy.

I'm addicted to Diet Coke and chocolate and my teeth are definitely suffering. I've had four fillings since last September, even though I'm pretty good at teeth brushing.

@PhoenixArisen it was really sunny here two days ago, like you I was saddened seeing all the lovely ladies in their sumner frocks and pretty sandals. They all looked so lovely and I was hiding behind a giant cardi.

@aibutohavethisusername we are buddies! 234 start weight here but I'm low carbing.

Horrified by the scales this morning but immediately thought of you lot starting with me which was surprisingly motivating!

I should be low carving as I’ve type 2 Diabetes but it is in remission due to weight loss so far.

gingerperil · 15/05/2023 09:02

11st 5 here… using calorie counter and eating all exercise points. Good luck everyone

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 15/05/2023 09:16

Can I join? I've got Noom. I'm paying for Noom. I'm not using Noom.

I need to sort my life out.

JellyJamJ · 15/05/2023 09:25

I’m in too. Starting weight of 196.8lbs. Massive chocoholic and feeling rubbish. Good luck everyone!

jamdan21 · 15/05/2023 09:28

Got weighed this morning and I need to lose 3stone. I blame lockdown and my chocolate habit. I actually feel disgusted with myself. Can anyone recommend a free step tracker app for my phone please. I aim to start the 10,000 steps a day. Good luck everyone with the weight loss .

Nowillpowerarall · 15/05/2023 10:25

Weighed in at 154lb this morning.
Surely It's reasonable to think I could lose 21lb by Christmas

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 15/05/2023 10:28

Is there room on the wagon for one more? I'm 18 5 and diabetic. I've lost 3 stone in 3 months before so I know I can do it, it's just one small decision at a time. No big deal!

I'll be sticking to 1200 calories a day. I have chickens so plenty of eggs, and stupidly large piles of veg, plus some meaty deliciousness.

We can do this!

Modda · 15/05/2023 11:11

Starting today. Back on the exante.

changer121 · 15/05/2023 11:13

I was 12st 7 this morning and want to loose 1 1/2 stone
Lots of real food and fresh veggies

Cutting down on the real butter and bread will be my issue!

I've had fruit , yogurt and a sprinkle of granola for breakfast and will have smoked salmon and rye bread for lunch.
Pork in gravy, mash potatoes and spring cabbage tonight

NerrSnerr · 15/05/2023 11:16

Hi. I would like to join in with this. My summer clothes don't fit and I have been yo-yo dieting for years. I'm reducing my carbs and using MFP and trying to do a gym class most days.

Current weight- 11st 8
Goal weight- 9 stone

HappiDaze · 15/05/2023 11:55

I made a bowl of coleslaw which I've now just eaten so that'll be my lunch albeit a tad early

I managed to avoid carbs but they've been substituted with oil and Mayo. Maybe that'll make me feel fuller for longer. We'll see.

MFP puts my coleslaw at 324 calories

Next time less oil and Mayo.

I'm cooking a Spanish tortilla so eggs, onion and potatoes - this is to have over the next few days so I have something I can grab when I get hunger pangs. However DD like this so if she eats it then so be it

So far today 493 cals

Purplecatshopaholic · 15/05/2023 13:29

Hi all. Had fruit for breakfast and toast with ham for lunch. A little bit of chocolate for lunch too - cold turkey seems too hard! Been out with the dog twice already too - WFH today - so that’s good too.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 15/05/2023 14:15

I'm about 11 stone 9, which is a lot for 5'3!

I'm hoping to get back down to 10. I'd been even happier with 9 1/2.

No chocolate today so far 💪🏻💪🏻

misspositivepants · 15/05/2023 14:30

I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been.

wine has snuck in daily and done nothing for my mental health and skin particularly. I’ve not had any for 7 days now, and I’m going to commit to having it for special occasions, such as holidays, meals out or if we have a particularly nice meal in etc. which should help.

I’ve got a holiday booked end of July and I’d like to be a stone and half lighter (secretly hoping for 2 stones)- at 14stone11 and 5ft3 this should be achievable, that my first milestone anyway! I’m also going to do loads of walks when I can, so an AM, lunchtime, evening walk they’re about 3k and 30 mins each easier to do than trying to get 10k in one go particularly around work and little ones.

I had a protein yog with loads of fresh berries for breakfast.

lunch was roasted chickpea, feta, olives, red onion, cherry toms & cucumber salad

snacked on a peach and some grapes.

and sipped on lots of water

Dinner is pasta based, so will need to watch my portion size and add a load of veggies.

Also having a focus on a bit more self care, taking the time to do my skin care routine, apply body lotion, got the flexitol out to get my feet summer ready. meal plans are also making a comeback so I can plan rather than running to the shop for something quick.

Tigerlilz · 15/05/2023 17:07

Weighed myself this morning ..I'm 10st 10lb (better than I thought but right at the top of the BMI scale and none of my summer clothes will fit) - want to lose about a stone...maybe a little more.

I'm 5'6 and not usually this heavy - my weight has crept up since lockdown and now I'm perimenopausal so prone to weight gain.

I've had a good day food and exercise wise. Went on my treadmill for 20 minutes before work and have eaten very healthily all day.

Good luck everyone.

onthefence23 · 15/05/2023 17:21

JimiChoux · 14/05/2023 11:54

I'm am addicted to chocolate, I can eat so much and not feel sick. I'm terrible.

I'm paying for it now though, I feel proper over weight.

I'm the same I ate two Easter eggs Easter day and felt fine Blush

onthefence23 · 15/05/2023 17:25

Solid first day here, alpen for breakfast, chicken salad with small bread roll for lunch, a pear and a small serving of nuts for a snack, meal replacement shake this evening and bowl of fruit! Went to the gym for before work, only had time for half n hour but better than nothing, caught sight of myself in changing room mirror there though it was not a pretty sight, I'm bigger now than 9 months pregnant 😵‍💫
