Me too please! I managed to lose 1 stone earlier in the year but then got complacent and put it all back on with a few extra lbs 😫

I'm scared to weigh myself but really need to lose A LOT of weight 😥
I want to join you all but I'm scared I haven't got the will power to tackle it. I'm a serial yo-yo dieter and get heavier each time

I'm with you. Not so focused on dieting as getting into good eating habits and improving my strength - have an induction at Gymnophobics tomorrow.

Have been trying Slimpod for about a week and it's definitely helping me stop fixating on food during the day. Although I still can't resist temptation if it's waved right in my face....

Me too - I was doing quite well with ww meetings last summer but then circumstances changed so I couldn’t make the meetings for a while, and it went very very wrong! I haven’t dared get on the scales for months, but I know there are many stones to lose.

Anyway, I just got the Glucose Revolution book about balancing sugar spikes and so to start with I am going to try whatever that says, and also stop parking so close to work to get more steps in.

I’m in, I’ve already started around 2 weeks ago and lost 1 kg, will power was wavering until I caught sight of me in a reflection yesterday… so I’m back on track today

@Watchkeys - to shift mindset away from vegetables as a side dish and to maximise nutrition, allow for a decent volume of food (and fibre) to stay full and help with lowering overall calorie intake.

I really do need to sort myself out. I am dreading starting tomorrow but I can't go on like this. I am consuming so much sugar and it is starting to worry me. Plus I look very fat.

I am in. Got weighed earlier and have booked a gym induction tomorrow evening. I would like to drop three dress sizes. Though I am part way towards the first drop which will help. I’ve shopped for protein rich meals I can calorie track. Going to take key measurements and take starting photos to help me track before bed.

Time to stop making excuses and go for it. I’m not happy with how I look or feel at this size. I love making and eating the healthier food when I get going. I don’t enjoy exercise but I do enjoy how I feel afterwards and the results. This feels like the right time. It will be lovely to have some support for the blips and people to celebrate the successes with. Thank you for starting this thread.

Me too.

I saw a photo of myself from last night and I just look awful-I'm really fat! I think I've been in denial, because I'm quite short too.

However, I'm not going to wallow. It's the first time I think I've felt this urge to absolutely do it.

I'm calorie counting and I've bought a Fitbit to remind me. I'm also going to try to stick to the 5 2 diet.

@HollyGolightly4 I saw a photo of myself yesterday too, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I honestly can't believe I've let myself get so fat.

I'm fairly short, 5'4 and my belly is huge. Barrelesque would describe me.

And me too, please!

Just want to be a little healthier and toned before I hit a big birthday this September. I want to also be a bit better with looking after my skin so when I hit the next big birthday, I'll look fab.

So I'll measure tomorrow, just 2 coffees instead of probably 4 or 5, and lots of water for a start! And a gentle joe wicks workout. Might walk to school at pick up too.

I've gained 10lbs after my Hrt was messed around by an over zealous gp and I feel awful.
I'm back on my original one now so hopefully I can shift the excess weight and more Blush

Im in, I have no will power and biscuits fall in my face. I’m only 5’ and 10st 7 so need to lose a stone and a half.
