Has anyone tried Slimpod?

Just wondered if it works? I only have about a stone and a half to shift, but it's just proving very difficult - my self-control is shot.

I started in April last year and by November had lost 2 stone.

I have another 2 stone to loose and it hasn’t shifted, but for various reasons life has been really stressful so I think not gaining weight over this time is a massive win in itself.
@cardibach ,
I completely agree about the mindset changes. I’ve just come back from an adventure holiday with my son and in the summer I’m competing in a sport I haven’t done seriously for 20 years! There’s no way I would have considered either of those a year ago.
Slimpod has been worth every penny. Saying yes to new things seems to be becoming a habit

I’m 6 months in. 2 dress sizes down. More active. More positive. Just commit fully.

That's amazing! Well done 👍 Its very excited to think that I can tap into my subconscious...! Thanks for feedback 😊

I listen to the pods in the morning as I have my coffee. I usually read my kindle at the same time. I’ve been doing Slimpod for ten months and have lost half a stone. I only had a stone to lose to get to a healthy BMI but could probably do with losing a bit more. The last time I lost any weight was eating 800 calories a day and I was miserable and couldn’t sustain it for longer than a few weeks. This has been relatively effortless.
I dip in and out of the Facebook page. It can be useful but often tends to be a bit diety.

Hi just to update as it was me who asked about Slimpods around a month ago!

I did the free trial and ended up taking the membership, got a Blue light card discount.
I was really busy at work and home stuff, then went on holiday then ended up not well with covid. So haven't really been following it well to be honest.
Have listened to the Slimpod a few times in bed and watched a few videos. Wrote a few "wins" down. I haven't lost any weight. I have been out for a few walk/ jogs with the dog since feeling a bit better.
I have had regular emails from Sandra which I really need to read, I'm really bad for reading emails every day.
Not quite sure what else I'm supposed to do? I'm obviously not as committed as I should be but willing to keep trying!

It uses motivational techniques, eg, using Trello or similar systems to set targets and intended outcomes, and how you are going to achieve them. There are tutorials and a supportive Facebook group. The most effective part for me are the pods, using suggestion techniques to change your attitude to food, body image and exercise, etc. There is no calorie counting or points, weighing yourself regularly is discouraged. The idea is that you learn to listen to what your body wants and needs. It works for me, stopped me from obsessing about food, in fact I no longer really think about food between one meal and the next, and I don't want to snack. Well worth giving it a go.

A couple of years on: how has Slmpod helped you? Any further advice? I’m reallly interested in what specifically MY part of the deal is (other than £90!) What commitment from me is required? How often etc?

I don’t understand your question. Your commitment is to follow the programme….

Hi, I meant specifically what's involved: how much time each day? Is there reading? Etc. I also wanted to see if you would still recommend a couple of years on.

I’m almost a year in. On an almighty plateau currently but there have been other changes eg to activity levels, positivity etc that make it worthwhile.
You need to listen to the pod (8 mins, but I’m usually asleep before the end these days) and watch some short videos (max 10 mins, not every day). Record 3 wins (not diet related necessarily) which takes minutes.
pits very low streets and has changed lots of things about my life as well as helping me lose weight.

Thank you so much.
