Hi,

I'm starting back on a healthy regime today, I was going to start on the 1st, but seize the day and all that.

Got on the scales this morning and am 206.2 lbs 😣

I'd like to get to 130 lbs so have around 5st/74 lbs to lose.

Feel free to join me but I aim to post daily to keep myself on track. I'm going to go low carb, maybe do an 8 hour eating window and keep a small eye on calories. I have gym membership but haven't been for a while, and also exercise witha friend a couple of times a week.

198.6 lbs today.

Yesterday I had

2l water
4 Green teas
A meal replacement bar - 232 cals
A protein mousse - 150 call
Exante sweet & sour noodles, 202 cals, and I added a frikadellen to it - 162 cals

So I was well within the meal replacement amount of cals. When I did this before I would lose at least 0.5lb a day. I'm getting a bit fed up with the amount of deprivation and effort for little results 🤨

I basically ate a tonne of crap this weekend. No excuse. A client sent a box of cookies and some fudge. There’s not much left. Ridiculous. I know. Blatant comfort eating.

Just put it behind you @EmmaEmerald its a new week, new start.

I didn't have a good weekend either. I must have had about 40 chicken nuggets over the whole weekend. And I wasn't even starving and caved, I just wanted them.

I think the meal replacements don't work for me any more. I gave them up last time because they weren't working, I think being on hrt now, I have to exercise and eat well, I can't just drop my cals, and I can't exercise on sod all cals.

I have 11 weeks until my event. I need to decide on a plan and stick to it. Chopping and changing every week won't do anything at all. I love salads and soups, and that worked for me before, so maybe that is the way to go. High protein, low carb & exercise at LEAST 3 times per week.

Yesterday I had
2l water
3 Green teas
2 egg omelette with onion, garlic, mushrooms, cheese
Salad with chicken and a tiny bit of mayo
Curry and cauliflower rice (again 😂 my dh has really got the curry bug atm) I only had a little bit of curry though because he put cream and butter and god knows what else in it and I'm trying to keep my calories reasonable.
A protein pudding
A SMALL handful of nuts
Gherkins & pickled onions

That was quite snacky after my dinner so I think I need to bulk up my dinner to avoid that.

How did you get on after your weekend @EmmaEmerald?

That's 1st overall - so pleased. I had 10,800 calories over the week .

I'm 200.4lbs today.

Yesterday I had:

Just over 1L water
3 green teas, so altogether I got the 2L
4 biscuits, 26 cals & 3.6 carbs each
2 egg omelette, with onion, garlic, sausage & cheese
Tuna salad with a tiny bit of mayo
Curry & cauliflower rice and a tiny bit of homemade naan. I did have a few bits of potato but I had a small portion, I'm using a really small plate for my dinner now. Maybe its a side or bread plate size, its bigger than a saucer but not as big as a dinner plate.

Half a slice of cheese and 10 olives
A plate of broccoli with some curry over the top and a tiny bit of DH's h/m cheese naan

I'll probably be ravenous today to make up for yesterday 😆

@Diddelydi Yes! Just us. I did an exercise class last night but then I had lentil soup that may be a little bit too carby for me, but I also had a bit of homemade cheesy naan again 🙈

I might try and go to the gym tonight just to break the seal and get back there again.

Good morning!

I had a bad weekend again. I went to a party on Saturday night, but didn't drink or eat loads of crap, but my friend sent my home with a few bags of chocolates and chocolate coins so I ate loads of chocolate yesterday, and had cheese toasties and wedges for dinner, and a can of coke.

202.7 lbs this morning 🙄

BUT I went to the gym this morning, I did 15 mins treadmill, 15 mins bike and 15 mins on the bouncy cross trainer stepper thing. I will be going again tomorrow and they have chnaged the classes I get with my membership, we used to get 2 25 min workout of the week sessions, but now we can choose one 1 hour class in the evening on Mondays or Wednesdays. Boxercise or cross training, so I'm going to cross training on Wednesday. I want to work in 30-60 mins of some sort of exercise every day again.

I think now I'm older/on HRT (ffs, I'm only 41 🙄) I need to exercise AND keep my cals low AND go low carb AND do IF 🙄🙄🙄

The exercise sounds great, I only manage dog walks!
I too was on HRT at 40, started my menopause early at 37.
I must say I felt better than I had ever felt the 10 years I was on it.
I wish I could have stayed on it forever.

Walking is fantastic though! If i didn't have this membership, I'd walk for a few hours each day and use my cross trainer, and do a couple of youtube vids, its just cos I can't get out of this membership yet.

45 mins in the gym
a satsuma
a 2 egg omelette with garlic, onions & cheese
a pink lady apple
a small bowl of curry, that did have potatoes in, and a tiny bit of homemade naan

I didn't go to the gym today because I'm building back up and going daily would probably give me an injury atm.
