Hi,

I'm starting back on a healthy regime today, I was going to start on the 1st, but seize the day and all that.

Got on the scales this morning and am 206.2 lbs 😣

I'd like to get to 130 lbs so have around 5st/74 lbs to lose.

Feel free to join me but I aim to post daily to keep myself on track. I'm going to go low carb, maybe do an 8 hour eating window and keep a small eye on calories. I have gym membership but haven't been for a while, and also exercise witha friend a couple of times a week.

Well I had a weekend off and set myself back again. 201.7 today.

Friday:
2 eggs, 2 sausages, ham, cheese
nuts and trail mix
Chicken wings, pork belly, salad
45 mins in the gym, weights and cardio

Saturday:
Trail mix, pork crunch, satsuma
3 small bottle of lager
1 small bottle of low alcohol wine, mixed with sugar free lemonade
BBQ: 2 h/m burgers in buns, 2 sausages, salad

Sunday:
Trail mix
SF Granola, milk
banana
BBQ: 2 h/m burgers, 1 bun, 1 tandoori chicken leg, salad
cornetto
malteasers bunny chocolate bar

So not obscene but obviously not good for my scales.
This is what normal people eat and lose weight ffs.
This week I'm paring it right back and only eating the bare minimum and see what happens.
Eggs, meat, veg and salad. No cheese, no yoghurt, no fruit, no nuts.
Considering stopping HRT and seeing if that makes any difference.

I've been taking these for the last 3-4 days even though the Dr said my iron was fine, becuase I found these in a drawer, and I've noticed a big improvement in my energy this morning so I'm getting back in the gym this week too.

Yesterday:
2 fried eggs, spinach, 1/2 avocado, 2 slices ham, chilli flakes.
Tuna, radish, cucumber, red onion, yellow pepper, vinegar adn no mayo.
Tandoori chicken leg, oven roasted veg: corn on the cob, abergine, courgette, 1/4 onion, yellow pepper
3l water
5 green teas

I know I said no yoghurt but I'd already started marinating the chicken.

Yesterday:

2 fried eggs, spinach, 2 sausages, avocado, chilli flakes
Tuna, cucumber, red onion, green pepper, radish, vinegar
2 thin pork steaks, salad, a forkful of coleslaw, pickled red cabbage

Todays breakfast and lunch will be like yesterdays, not sure what to have for dinner tonight yet. Probably chicken and salad.

Yesterday:
3l water
5 green teas
2 fried eggs, 1 sausage, 2 bacon, spinach, 1/2 avocado, chilli flakes for metabolism.
1 chicken breast, homemade fajita spice mix, onion, garlic, green pepper with spinach, coriander, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, radish, red onion, beetroot, pickled red cabbage, a teeny tiny bit of coleslaw. Lemon juice, olive oil and S&P. oh and the tiniest bit of mayo, maybe half a tablespoon.

I'm probably gonna have to drop out the sausages and mess about poaching eggs ffs 🙄

Yesterday was pretty much the same as the day before:

2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, spinach, 1/2 and avocado, chilli flakes.

50g peanuts.

Fajita chicken breast, with red pepper, mushrooms and onion. Spinach, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, radish, red onion, beetroot, pickled red cabbage. Dressing was lemon juice, olive oil, s&p. Corn on the cob with a bit of butter on it.

3l water, 4 green teas.

Today went slightly off plan.

Vegetable crisps.

50g peanuts.

BBQ:
2 homemade burgers - no buns, 1 plastic cheese slice, smidgeon of ketchup, mustard, mayo, & homemade jalepeno hot sauce.

1 jalepeno cream cheese popper, 1 cheese and chilli bite, like the burger king ones.

3 little chicken wings, no batter.

Corn on the cob, butter.

Salad: spinach, coriander, cucumber, red pepper, red onion, cherry tomatoes, avocado, beetroot, pickled red cabbage. Dressing of lemon juice, olive oil, s&p.

2l water,
No green tea.

1 Moser Roth 70% chocolate bar, the little ones where you get 5 in the box.

I've got some bits to use up so my plan from after these holidays is to drop out the sausages and bacon, the nuts that have been creeping in, and corn. I know corn isn't a good vegetable and nuts are too calorific. Sausages and bacon are too processed.

So I'll have something like:

Eggs, spinach, avocado
Tuna or mackerel
Chicken or fish and salad or veg

And back to the gym.

Over eaten for two days, lot's of bread lot's of alcohol, plus a giant Easter Egg to scoff today!!
Will start back on it tomorrow or Tuesday 🤔🤔

Enjoy your egg! No egg for me 😭

I overate yesterday, and things I shouldn't.

Yesterday:

2 egg, 2 bacon, 2 sausages.

A tiny bowl of sugar free granola and a tiny bit of trail mix and milk.

More trail mix. This has dried bananas in, as well as the raisins, sultanas and papaya and pineapple, and nuts. So it's sugary and carby.

A protein bar when I was out, it was banana flavour dark chocolate and puffed rice, like a snackajack.

A few vegetable crisps.

2 homemade bbq'd burgers, no buns, a slice of raclette, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayo. A couple of chicken wings, salad, pickled cabbage, beetroot, coleslaw, corn on the cob in butter.

A few godiva dark chocolate pearls.
A bar of moser roth 70% dark chocolate.

A salted caramel protein yoghurt.

2l water, no green tea.

So, 200.0lbs exactly today.

My bloody husband is losing a pound a day ffs.

I won't though, I'm going to do protein only znd zed what happens, maybe go to one meal a day (omad) and then possibly Jason Fungs' 36 hour fasts, I think he says eat dinner on m, w, Fri.

A couple of teas, but not green tea.
A diet cherry coke.

A few hours gardening.
A sugar free ice pole.

2 eggs, bacon.
Dark chocolate.
Trail mix.
Bbq: homemade burgers, half a (big) frankfurter, corn on the cob & butter, salad.
Greek yoghurt, banana, granola, trail mix, honey, godiva dark chocolate pearls.
