Friday weigh in club!

Anyone fancy joining me in weighing every Friday and posting our progress? I will also post what exercise I have managed that week.
I need somewhere to be accountable! Ideas for meals would be good to share as we go along too.
I have around a stone to lose and am aiming for 1lb a week loss. I will be loosely calorie counting.

@Amdone123 that's it exactly, I want instant gratification for my few days of sacrifice 😂 I'm at this on-off dieting game long enough to know I need to be a bit more patient, and consistent.

My holiday is actually ages away so I don't feel a huge amount of pressure - 19th July/23 weeks. I'm playing the long game!

Just over a pound on after my work trip. Enjoyed it though. Only went over on calories on two days and that's what happens! Hopefully some is water weight.
Have a big party tomorrow so no hope this weekend either.

Thanks @Spirini. I am trying so hard to stick with it today (don't work on Fridays) and over the weekend but it is so hard. And we also have a party tomorrow which no doubt will put a stop to any loss next week. I had to miss the gym last night too and my swimming session today so I feel like I'm on to a crap week already.

@choc27 that must feel good, so frustrating when you're doing the right things but not obviously getting rewards.

No loss , no gain for me this week which I'm again 🤔 about. I 'feel' lighter and smaller but the scales say not. Hoping for a woosh at some point.

Yes, you've probably lost inches. Good that you feel lighter - I think sometimes it's more important how you feel than the number on the scales. But I know we all want to get those pounds off ! And we will !
I weighed myself in Boots. 13st 9. I was 13st 6 before my holiday so to be expected.
Was thinking about 15 years ago when I went to ww - I was 14st 4. I've never gone that weight again in 15 years. Looking for positives here 🤣
@choc27 , if you have a bad week, don't worry about it - just keep going.

Not yet, I know I should but the laste measurement I took about 2 years ago my waist was 24 inches so I think I'd be shocked at my current size! I'm by no means seriously overweight, I just have a little bit of excess weight that makes me unhappy. I'll get there. Thank you 😊

For me it's all about how i feel! I'll get there but it's clearly getting harder the older I get. I maintained for 3 years and let it slip last year- I just stopped weighing myself, big mistake!

How is everyone doing over the weekend? I didn't have a great food day yesterday but OK today and been to the gym.
We are going away for a few days so this week will be a right off I think! Full English breakfast on offer 🤣

Had a movie day yesterday with my granddaughter - had a few snacks, so skipped tea ! I'm trying!
Today's going well.

OK I think @choc27 , I was working most of the day yesterday and had my usual takeaway and wine but that's all I had.

Today has been quite lazy as yet to take the dog out but only had a protein shake so far. Dinner will be roast chicken Wraps and salad.

Back on <1200 today until Friday. Definitely at a slower loss rate than before but only trying to shift a stone. I'm in the healthy BMI bracket, I'm just happier at a stone less.

Where do you all carry excess weight? I'm an 'inverted triangle' body type andv mine goes on my hips and thighs mainly.

Mine is all on my stomach. The bit round under my boobs is really skinny and then I just get bigger as I go down! Legs aren't too bad.

I really want bloody pizza today but I've resisted. 16 stone 7 this morning!
My weight is bum hips and boobs, but at 18.2 I was big all over.

Can't you make a healthy pizza ? I make them using wholemeal pitta bread ( I prefer to white), tomato puree, herbs, cheese ( usually a slice of good cheese for calories sake), then whatever topping you want.
I prefer it to Domino's type pizza - they make me feel ill 🤒

Well done everyone! I forgot to post Friday but I was down to 10st 5 which I was really happy with, but I’ve not counted calories all weekend as we had 2 separate family birthday meals out. No puddings but I did have birthday cake and a little bit of alcohol. Then it’s my twins birthday next week which means even more cake 😂 but back on the 1200 cals tomorrow and 2 x gym sessions planned in this week. This thread is keeping me motivated so thanks everyone!

@choc27 we sound very similar shapes, I have a fairly slim rib area but my weight is all on my tummy since having my babies. And my hips too a bit.

@Amelia891 yes I have love handles round the hip area!
I took retook my measurements today and I think I've lost around 1inch round my Fattest bit of stomach!! Looks like measuring will be better than weighing for me. I guess because of the weights at the gym.
Well we are off for our little break and have a restaurant booked tonight and breakfast tomorrow. I'll still try to fit in the gym 3 times this week. Hopefully won't be too much damage 😬

@choc27 have a lovely time hopefully the weather is being as kind to you as it is for me (assuming you're having a UK break?).

Good day so far, had my protein shake mid morning then had an impromptu coffee shop trip with DSis but I was good and stuck to a diet Coke, managed to sit outside in the sun and it was so warm and beautiful. Just back from a dig walk but not a long one today because of my DSis unexpected visit. Have the big shop to do later but have already prepped homemade garlic bread to accompany Pesto pasta for dinner. Will have some fruit if I feel like something sweet but should come in around 1000 calories for the day.

Housework beckons 😫

Anyone have any low calorie meal ideas please?

My contribution and obviously not sure if any of you like French onion soup but a whole tin of Baxters is only 94 calories. I've always liked it, add a little grated cheese and a few croutons and you've got a 150cal lunch. 👍🏻

@FlutterbButterfly I really like the Betty Crocker 300 calorie recipe book, there's a few that aren't up to much but mostly they're quick and very nice!
A friend sent me some Canadian chocolate and crisps for Xmas and they've only just arrived. I thought it was going to be hard to resist but the things Ive tried have been awful so it's not as bad as I thought!

Hardcore today and I'm absolutely fine, my appetite has definitely changed!

I've been working all day and there is no natural break for food. Nothing illegal, I just work two separate shifts and it's nigh on impossible to eat. Got home at around 8.30pm and have just had a huge , yes huge! Chicken caesar salad and I feel full.

I had a bit of a blip last night, but nothing too serious. I'm actually enjoying my healthy eating and if I do have a small setback, I just accept it and carry on. Better than abandoning the mission !
Weigh in tomorrow. A couple of pounds off would be a great start.
Is everyone on here weighing tomorrow?
Silly question given thread title, but I think someone else said they weighed on a Saturday. Just wondering !
