Friday weigh in club!

Anyone fancy joining me in weighing every Friday and posting our progress? I will also post what exercise I have managed that week.
I need somewhere to be accountable! Ideas for meals would be good to share as we go along too.
I have around a stone to lose and am aiming for 1lb a week loss. I will be loosely calorie counting.

Does yesterdays weight count? Baby woke early and I haven't managed to hop on scales this morning after shower like usual!

Yesterday I was 133.2lbs. So down almost 1lb. Had such big fluctuations again this week - one day I was even down to 122.0lbs and another day I was back up to 134.5! Weight loss certainly isn't linear!

It's trending in the right direction- albeit extremely slowly! My goal was to be 131 by next Friday but I'm really not confident that will happen at all now!

Hope you're all doing fab! Remember, it doesn't matter what the scales say... consistency will pay off eventually!

I am so envious of you!!

I do treat myself to half a small Aldi bar a few evenings a week for 100cals but it just leaves me wanting ALL the chocolate!

It's really not linear. I track daily and last week I gained for 5 days but then lost for 8 days running..I use this little app to track. Next week I am away with work and 3 hotel breakfasts, 3 lunch buffets and 3 evening restaurant meals. Damage limitation needed.

I’ve stayed the same too, 10st 6 again. Annoyed but also trying to focus on the fact I definitely feel a little thinner, my jeans feel looser than last week.

@choc27 I can understand why you're annoyed, there's nothing worse than working so hard at it and seeing no results. Don't give up though, our bodies don't lose weight in a straight line, it's normal for there to be plateaus and temporary increases along the way.

I've dropped 1lb this week, im ok with it and I know it's at a healthy rate but I lost so much quicker last time around. Then again I've got a lot less to shift so know that'll be the reason.

It's let my hair down Friday so homemade pizza tonight. Tomorrow I'm working most of the day and due to the nature of my job I cannot eat so this is the best day for takeaway and wine. Back hard-core Sund- Thursday.

Start Weight- 10st 11lb
Week 1- 10st 13lb 🤬
Week 2- 10st 09lb
Week 3- 10st 08lb
First Goal- 10st
Fi sl Goal- 9st 6lbs

Age 44 , height 5ft 9.

It's all so frustrating when you are sticking to plan but don't see the evidence straight away. Stick with it, it'll kick in at some point.

I can only visu weight in stones and pounds! I can do the maths when it's pounds only but it's not obvious to me straight away. Don't get Kgs at all, I'm obviously old 😆

I agree @tilestoclean I'm a daily weigher.
When he says the bit about - if you were to lose 1lb a week for a year you'd have lost 52lbs, not everyone has 52lbs to lose - a light went off in my head! losing 1lb a week for me is completely unreasonable. There'd be nothing left of my little old self if I lost 52lbs!

Well done everyone! Some great progress. I am going to try the daily weigh in thing. Have downloaded the app recommended above.
Meant to be at the gym today and eating well but been up ALL night with a vomiting child. So we shall see what I manage to accomplish today. Started with a healthy breakfast so good start I suppose.

I do daily weighs too and then just take the average weight for the week (my app does that automatically anyway) so as long as the trend is downwards it's alright!
