@Sodullincomparison no snow here although it is 0 at the moment. I’m about as far south as you can get and coastal so v rarely get snow that settles . I don’t run in the snow although I did consider getting yak traks for my trainers so I can.

will this mean a snow day for school? Are you now expected to switch to online or do you get a day off?

Morning everyone, I forgot to weigh yesterday, unfortunately I have gained this week ( now 77.3kg) which hopefully will give me a rocket to get back on it! I don't want to go back to where I was in October. Xmas derailed me and I'm struggling to get back on it.
Still trying to hold myself accountable by being on this thread.
I can't really exercise atm ( apart from some very gentle strengtening ones) due to back injury, had first physio yesterday , so I'm a bit frustrated by that.

Two healthy meals and just a wee bit of chocolate within a 10 hour window. Plus two coffees first thing ~ although that was for sheer pleasure, all bundled up in woollens, sipping strong sweet cardamom coffee while watching the snow swirling aneath the stars. ❄️🌌

No snow day here. Just keep on going - the school is urban so the pollution and buildings generally keep the site clear.

most of our team live in walking distance of the school which means the team will always be there. I live remote enough to warrant a septic tank and a special gas tank 😀😀

food wise- some chicken and an orange at lunch
and just had an early dinner of a cheese sandwich and crisps with the children at after school club instead of dinner.

felt a waste of calories.

weight stayed the same today.

Woke up without the bloated belly and puffy all over feeling I gained during my wee festival of wheat and sugar. Ventured the scales - 0.5 kg down since my 2nd Jan weight. So relieved, thank you everyone for helping reel me back in x

I've wrecked my Current Rate on Happy Scale, predictions that used to say 7 weeks now say 6 months 🤣 Going to ignore that for a while!

I disappeared from thread as I have fallen off the wagon, been run over by it and I think reversed over too 🙈 I don’t know why I do it.
Covid over Christmas seemed to knock me off track. I’m reading how well everyone is doing and trying to find my mojo, but I just keep sabotaging myself. I’m 1lb heavier than when I started months back!
But if I stop trying, I’ll end up heavier again, so got to keep on 🙈

haha it’s not an orange, but it’s soo good! I am busily avoiding the creme eggs that are already out in shops. How is it time for Easter stuff when I’m still trying to wean myself off of the Christmas stuff 😬😂🙈
I know it’s Friday tomorrow, and good plans always start on a Monday, but I’m going to get up weigh and make sure I know where I’m at and start again! I really want to do this. And this thread def helps me want to be accountable which can only be good x

It’s been a crazy busy week and as of yesterday I was down to 15’2 so all that pasta had disappeared.

That will be my weighin for this week as I’m out at my doctorate course this week and I’m predicting a riot in the morning as the family will be out of routine.

determined to get to the 14s this week.

I have a major dental procedure happening next week and the dentist said there will be no eating for a few days. Eeek.

Down 0g since Wednesday. Fell into the sweet things again.

Aiming for a week of healthy meals, a wee bit of dark chocolate, nothing else sweet, and no coffee by Friday.

the mini milestones for this week are between now and Friday:

  1. 3lbs loss
  2. Low carb / Keto evening meal
  3. intermittent fasting - only eating between 4pm and 8pm
  4. no caffeine / no sugar

This is actually 'whyhere', but now using the MN app which wouldn't let me log on as me! Down 2lb this week so now 1lb below goal, but with a waist measurement increase of an inch! Sometimes the whole thing is a mystery....

Ugh - MIL keeps buying the kids chocolate. And then I eat it because I don't want them eating it all. Finding it so hard to get back into a routine post Christmas and not entirely are why if I'm honest.

I'm the same, no idea why January has fallen apart, bit bewildered to be honest.

A healthy rebalancing mechanism which requires lots of sugar? Or hitherto dormant bear DNA has activated, demanding we eat all the things then hibernate?

Current goal is back on track by Sunday - when I expect to have lost 0 kg in the past month. Eeek.

Yeah I think it’s a combination of some primeval urge to eat and ensure I survive the winter, finding it hard to get into a routine due to constant builders etc. and being a bit lazy tbh. I’m looking forward to spring.

The usual red pepper, cavolo nero, beef strips, coriander with a dash of tamari/sesame oil/honey combo - but this time with added chestnuts, earthy and delicious. There's something about their texture I adore, sort of grainy, with a little give, but still substantial. It's the same texture family as just-set egg yolks, and black beans, or in liquid form, turkish coffee.

😲 I lost 1.4 kg in 31 days.
❌ I passed no milestones.
🤮 I don't feel great.
🤨 I've no idea why.

Now back on track not a grain of sugar left.
Onwards! 💪😇🥳

Le sigh. Wasn’t going to weigh but then realised I need to face the music. 69.5kg so have gained 2kg since before Christmas. The fact that my builder just messaged to say he’s going to start on Monday ( meant to be April but another client hit a planning snag so he’s switching people around) is not helping my urge to stress eat everything in sight.

Yay Stravaig is back with colourful photos!!! Looking delicious and ridiculously healthy. I had frittata today for lunch.

I don’t know what happened this week. I didn’t eat much, ate at certain times, had two cans of coke but my weight stayed the same.

still at 15’2. I will break through though.

I have a major allergy on my face today though so maybe I had a little too much bread etc so I need to flush that out. It is always accompanied by bloating and water retention.

@illiterato builders in winter- that is brave!

wish me luck ladies. HRT appointment tomorrow. I’m interested to see if becoming ‘zen’ once more will allow my body to relax more.

Dental surgery pushed back four weeks.
